32. Margo

Chapter 32

Margo

“ C lose, you just need to lift it higher and keep it there.” I placed my hand on Liam’s knee as he stiffened and pulled away.

I quickly retracted my hand from his skin.

He lifted his knee higher but failed to keep it up. He looked at his knee with anguish and irritation as he slammed his hand on the table.

“Fuck this.” He stood up and walked over to my desk, pulling his water bottle to his mouth.

“Liam, for me to help you… I’m going to need to lead you through the stretches for you to do better on your form… meaning that I would have to touch you.” I lightly mentioned as he faltered.

“Who said I won’t let you touch me?” He looked over at me with a smug face.

I froze.

“Oh, I don’t know, you turn into a gargoyle every time I touch you.” I made a point as he walked up to me quickly and interlocked my hand with his.

He then brought our interlocked hands in front of my face, “I don’t have a problem with touching you Margo, I’m not a nine-year-old.” His words filled my ear drums with venom.

I wasn’t sure what point Liam was trying to pull with me, not that it mattered. Things with us pretty much ended the night of the game where he tore his ACL.

He hadn’t show me any idea that he liked to spend time with me versus not wanting to spend time with me.

I wasn’t really sure which one I wanted. It was selfish for me to wish that he would still give me the attention I used to receive before.

“Sit down.” I commanded as he threw me a look of disbelief.

Liam just stood there and looked at me.

“Let’s make a pact.” I offered.

“A pact.” He said it in a tone were it was a combination of a question and a are you serious, right now?

“Yes, a pact. We are friends, are we not?” I asked as he hesitated to answer.

“Okay, I’m intrigued, keep going.” He mumbled as I took a breath.

“No kissing.” I first mentioned as he did nothing but smile.

“No checking each other out.” I added.

“I’m a big girl Liam, you can date other people, I’m pretty sure I can handle it.” I sneered.

“Do you want me to date other girls?” He laughed as I took a deep breath.

“Yes!” I panicked.

“No!” I corrected.

“That’s not the point. The point is, there is no chance that you and I will ever be more than what we were.” I stuttered.

“So, you can either move on, or you can stay and play with yourself.” I finished off.

I understood that how I spoke to Liam was a bit harsh, but it was the truth. There was no other way around the fact that I was going to be married and one day we would just be memories of each other.

“No having sex.” I whispered as he shook his head with a low laugh.

“Oh yeah?” He licked his lips.

“Stop that!” I slapped his arm as he winced.

“What?!” He defended while petting his arm.

“You can’t look at me like that.”

“How am I looking at you?” Liam folded his arms together.

“Like you want to fuck me on that desk.” I answered blatantly and with a rushed tone.

Liam leaned closer to me, his voice was husk and low, “I do want to fuck you on that desk.”

I felt shivers down my spine and my mouth salivating. This was exactly why I set the rule of not kissing or having sex because, one taste of him I would be back to square one.

I knew I couldn’t resist Liam, and I would hate to think that for the rest of my life I would still be wanting him, even when I couldn’t have him.

I couldn’t hide the fact that my face had turned red, and my chest was heaving. Whoever said they got through rehab easily have not gone against the temptation of William Brookshire and his stupid way of words.

“No flirting!” I got up walking away from him.

“What?! I can’t help it, Raine!” He begged.

Without flirting, Liam’s charisma would’ve gone down to a low percentage.

“I didn’t say no to flirting for everyone, I just can’t have you flirt with me.” I narrowed down as he rolled his eyes.

“Don’t you get it Raine?” Liam’s eyes searched for mine in a far.

“What?” I asked, but I knew the next words that were about to come out of his mouth.

“I don’t want to flirt with anyone else other than you.” He said it in a whispered tone.

How do I reset my heart’s factory settings to always wanting Liam when he says things like that?

“Fine. We can be friends that flirt.” I flashed him a look of annoyance.

“That’s risky, Raine.” Liam stayed at a low monotone as my legs trembled.

“Can’t be, because we can’t kiss, we can’t have sex.” I swallowed, “All risk, no reward.” I finished off.

“Do we have a deal?” My voice broke as I muttered.

Liam took a second to look at me, his eyes penetrated mine.

“I can’t not check you out,” His eyes continued to glaze down my body.

If I was being completely honest, I couldn’t not check him out either. It would just be wrong not to look at one of the most perfect people God had created.

“Fine. The other rules stand. And you have to start dating other girls. You take them out, you bring them to dinner, you have sex with them and we’re both happy.” I reasoned as his eyebrows furrowed.

“How would that make us both happy?” He looked exasperated.

Because maybe me knowing you are fucking other women would help me get over you. I wanted to say out loud, but I didn’t.

If I had told Liam that I wasn’t over him, he would do nothing but try and win me back, and I couldn’t afford for him to know that.

If I had to be a bit heartless towards him, I would do it. It was for the best. For the both of us.

“Friends that flirt.” He said, trying to make sense of the whole agreement.

“Yes.” I gasped out.

Liam walked over to me; his eyes settled on my trembling lips. I suddenly felt my heart beating, my pulse raised and my eyes looking up.

“You must be having some pretty great sex with Ben, for sex to be off the table for me and you.” He whispered.

Ben and I were having no sex whatsoever, and it was going to stay exactly that way.

I hadn’t had sex since Liam and I at the beginning of the semester.

“Great sex.” I forced my eyes away from him.

“It’s a shame he’s not seeing you in these jeans then,” Liam’s words slithered around my throat. It was like I was getting suffocated.

I couldn’t help but knock my head back slowly, my back had been against the wall. Liam’s arm was propped on the same wall that I leaned on.

His head bent down; his lips close to my ear.

“Why?” My breath shook.

“Do you really want me to tell you?” Liam leaned closer to me; I could recognize his smell.

I felt my nipples harden; I was sure he could see them too. Most of the time, I knew how to control myself. When I’m at home by myself I knew how to embrace my pleasure. I used my vibrator and clicked the stop button for it to stop.

But at this very moment I had no idea how to stop the pleasure from my stomach to build up.

Liam wasn’t one of those guys who didn’t know a clit from a cucumber.

All I had to do was hear Liam’s voice for me to get this turned on, I felt my center get wetter.

“Mhmm.” I let out a small whimper.

That was all Liam needed for his eyes to sparkle.

“You’re so pretty, Raine.” He murmured on my right ear.

Liam switched over to my left ear, “Say it back,” He paused before speaking again.

“Tell me you’re pretty.” He slowly murmured.

The worst part of it all was Liam had touched me one bit and I was getting off to him.

“I’m pretty.” I groaned, my eyes stayed closed.

“Not good enough, Raine.” He purred.

“You’re so so pretty.” He rasped.

I felt waves of pleasure crashing in my stomach, my hips wanted to buck forward, but there would be nothing. My clit was aching for the pressure, only I wasn’t being touched by anything.

“I’m so so so pretty.” I gave in with a sobbed moan.

I absolutely should not be getting off to my thoughts of Liam. He stayed playing with my imagination, I’m going to have to start sleeping with a dream catcher.

“Such a good girl.” Liam lazily said as my hips bucked forward, my clit ached for more. Every muscle in my body wound with so much tension, I wanted to cry for the pleasure of release.

With one brush of Liam’s fingers on any part of my body it would’ve been game over.

I couldn’t help but moan again. “Careful, Raine. Anyone could step in at any given moment.” He warned me as my clit felt the tiniest friction from my jeans.

I opened my eyes to Liam looking straight down at me, his left hand close to cup my face. My doe eyes watched his body dangerously close to mine.

“Look at me like that again, and I might think you want me to fuck you on that desk.” He said so casually as I bucked my hips forward.

“I’ll look at you however I want.” I shot back at him as his lips curved to a menacing smirk.

“Feisty.” He laughed as my clit pulsed at the sound of his deep voice.

“Fuck.” My body froze up, my pussy was so wet and aching I couldn’t stop from squeezing my legs together.

“Come on Raine, let go… you deserve it.” He cooed.

That was the last thing I heard before thunder came and struck me, my hands gripped Liam’s shirt, as my body kept bucking. I clenched my eyes shut and heard my moans that travelled lightly on the air.

I felt my body start to calm down from the high as I fell on to Liam, who in which did not falter whatsoever. He was ready to catch me.

“No risk, amazing reward… huh.” He grinned as I rolled my eyes taking his hand and shook it.

A pact had been created.

The doorbell rang, Adrianna’s face was met with mine as I pushed of Liam’s body.

“Anna!” I laughed, trying not to look frazzled.

Liam only waved back at her.

“Are you ready to go?” She smiled at me as I nodded my head, grabbing my keys and my jacket.

“Liam are you not coming?” Adrianna had asked as I turned my head to look at his face.

“No, I don’t think the guys want me there right now.” He laughed awkwardly as my eyebrows furrowed.

Had they gotten in a fight?

“Nonsense, and besides, they aren’t your only friends. We’re your friends too. So, it’s either you get in that car or we’re knocking you out and taking you with us” Adrianna folded her arms as I laughed.

“Fine, I’ll go. Only because I wouldn’t want you to get charged with kidnapping and I wouldn’t want you two to hurt yourselves by trying to pick me up.” He insisted as he also picked up his keys.

“Hey, Grayson has been taking me to the gym. I could bench you.” Adrianna gloated as I shook my head.

This was going to be a long ass night.
