27. Chapter Twenty-Five
CHAPTER TWENTY-FIVE
BETSY
T he doorbell rang, making Betsy stop in her tracks. They were here. Shit. They were here.
She placed a hand on her stomach and looked over at Daddy in a panic.
"I think I'm going to be sick," she mumbled.
Nerves had been running through her ever since they got on the road to go home.
Scratch that.
Nerves had been running through her ever since Daddy dropped that people were going to come over.
Not just anyone though.
No, they were people he saw every day. People he worked for. People who could probably kill her in a hundred different ways before she could do anything or know what was happening.
Was this safe? Would Daddy be able to keep her safe or would he side with them?
She shook her head. Daddy said everything was going to be okay but it was hard. How was she supposed to believe that when she hacked into Bonnie's website? Did her Daddy know? Was he going to yell at her?
"Baby."
"I really think I'm going to throw up. I don't think I can do this."
She was on the verge of crying and throwing up and the people were standing right outside the front door.
She definitely couldn't do this. Who was she kidding? Why did Daddy think she could? She wasn't strong enough.
"Betsy, look at Daddy."
She made eye contact with him and he smiled.
"Everything is going to be okay. Daddy is right here and I'm not going anywhere," he calmly said as he walked up to her. "I want you to take several deep breaths for Daddy. Such a good girl. My good girl. Take a couple more. That's it. See how calm you are now."
She did realize how calm she was. her heart wasn't racing anymore and she could actually breathe.
"Such a good girl for listening to Daddy. I am going to be by your side the whole time. I'm not going to go anywhere. Understand?"
She nodded.
"Words, baby."
"Yes, Daddy."
"Good. Hold onto Daddy's hand. I'm going to open the door."
It didn't take long for them to get to the front door. Part of her wished they hadn't been so close so she had a little more time to think and mentally prepare herself for it.
"Ready?" Daddy asked.
She shook her head but sighed. "Okay."
As Daddy opened the door, she gripped onto his arm and put herself behind him. She was not ready to meet them, not even close. Why did she say okay?
Because Daddy would have opened the door anyway.
Her free hand gripped onto the back of his shirt. The first thing she saw was a girl's face but she didn't take time to look any further.
Pushing her face into Daddy's back, she didn't dare look at them again. How was she going to face them when she hacked into one of their websites? She didn't even know who it was.
It made her a terrible person.
"Betsy is a little shy and embarrassed," Daddy explained. "But she'll warm up after a couple of minutes. You just need to be patient with her."
Betsy didn't know if she was going to get over the shyness and embarrassment. This was a whole different scenario.
"She has nothing to be embarrassed about!" a girl raised her voice.
Bonnie? That was Betsy's guess since she replied but she wasn't sure.
"Kirk fixed everything and there was no real harm done," she explained. "I forgive you. I forgave you after it happened, you just didn't know it yet."
If she was trying to make her feel better, it wasn't working. If anything, it made her feel even worse.
"What happened?" A male asked. "Bonnie, tell Daddy right now what happened."
Her grip tightened on Daddy's shirt. Shit. That was Rogan. it had to be because he referred to himself as Daddy. What was she going to do?
Before she could do anything, Daddy moved his arm back and grabbed a hold of her. He pulled her in front of him so she was facing everyone.
Letting out a squeak, she turned around and put her face into Daddy's chest.
Not cool.
This was her worst nightmare come true.
"Betsy."
She whined and dug her face into his chest even more. Why did he have to pull her out from behind him right when she was about to leave and run to her room?
Maybe he knew what she was about to do. He was probably stopping her before she could run.
"Shush. Turn around and face our guests. You are being rude."
But she didn't want to. She didn't want to face the people and see how they were looking at her.
"Now, Betsy."
Daddy gripped her shoulders and helped her turn around. A girl, who she assumed was Bonnie, was already smiling at her
"Hi!" Bonnie yelled. "That's Storm behind me!"
Betsy looked behind her to see another girl, holding onto a man. She smiled and waved.
"Betsy, say hi," Daddy encouraged her. "They don't bite."
"H-hi," she whispered.
Betsy made the mistake of looking at the men. The man Storm was holding onto was just looking at her. As her gaze went forward to where Bonnie was, one man was glaring at her while another was just staring.
She pushed herself into Daddy as she looked back at the man who was glaring at her. That had to be Rogan.
He was absolutely terrifying.
"I'm Raynar, Daddy to Bonnie and a Little to Rogan. You've already met Bonnie. Behind us are Storm and her Daddy, Miles."
She couldn't look away from Rogan. Why was he still glaring at her? Did he already know what happened? Was he going to torture her and kill her?
"Daddy! Stop glaring at my new best friend!" Bonnie yelled. "You aren't being very nice."
"We are going to go on playdates and have so much fun! I just know we are!" Storm finally spoke. "There is a shop that has all sorts of things for Littles along with a play area!"
"Hart's Little Haven?" Betsy asked.
"Yes! Have you been there? It's one of my favorite places to go!"
"Mine too!" Bonnie yelled. "I love playing in the room with all the balls and the slide."
Jealousy. That's all Betsy felt as Bonnie described the room. She had wanted to play in that earlier.
"We were actually there a couple of hours ago," Daddy spoke.
"Did you play in the room I was talking about?"
"Sadly we did not, but I was thinking about renting it out so all three, four if Raynar wanted to join, could play in there and have some fun."
Betsy slowly relaxed into Daddy’s arms. So the other girls didn’t hate her. But she could still feel the glare from Rogan. Was he ever going to stop? Was he going to tell her she had to leave and never come back?
“Well, come on in! We can sit around and talk for a little bit,” Daddy said, moving them to the side.
Everyone walked in, Rogan still glaring at her. She cowered into Daddy’s arms, fear coursing through her. She was not going to make it out alive. She was going to die and there was nothing she could do about it.
Rogan was tall, muscular, and intimidating. He could probably ask her a question, distract her, and kill her before she even knew what was happening.
How was she going to survive tonight?
After everyone sat down, Betsy on Daddy’s lap, Rogan turned and looked at them.
“What happened?” he asked, his voice void of any emotion.
“Daddy,” Bonnie whispered. “Everything is okay.”
“Everything is not okay. Something happened and I want to know.”
“So you didn’t tell your Daddy,” Daddy stated. “I told you to tell him.”
Bonnie looked down at her hands. “I know, but I forgot. You know how I forget things.”
Betsy was the same way, but she chose to forget things related to work. Maybe if she had a bad memory it would make her feel less guilty. Less guilty that they couldn’t find the person who was threatening her. That they would have more leads right now than being stuck at a deadend.
“What happened, Kirk?” Rogan asked.
“Betsy hacked into Bonnie’s website and moved around some of her products. I caught her, changed everything back to normal, and here we are,” Daddy explained.
Rogan’s glare was back on her.
“You dare to mess with Bonnie’s website?”
“I’m sorry,” Betsy whispered as she clutched Daddy’s hand. “I didn’t do any harm.”
“Didn’t do any harm? I bet you made Bonnie cry when she called Kirk to fix it,” Rogan barked before turning to Bonnie. “Which you will get a spanking for, young lady. You know to come to Daddy.”
“I know,” Bonnie whispered.
“I would appreciate it if you didn’t talk to Betsy that way,” Daddy informed Rogan.
Her hand tightened around his. She didn’t want him to get into trouble for something she had done.
“I should end you,” Rogan turned back towards her.
Tears pooled in her eyes. Yep, she wasn’t making it out alive tonight. She had a great time with Daddy, him spoiling her and showing her what it would have been like.
“No,” Bonnie yelled.
“No. Betsy is my woman, my Little. If you want to kill her then you are going to have to kill me,” Daddy said.
Gasping, she turned around and looked at Daddy. “You can’t! Daddy! You can’t die because he wants to kill me.”
“A life without you is one not worth living. I’ve had you for a week now and I am not ready to go yet. So if you die then I am dying right behind you. We are going to stay together no matter what.”
She shook her head. “No, Daddy.”
“Yes, baby. You can’t change my mind. You are mine and if you die then I die. If you go to the hospital then I’m right behind. Though, Daddy is going to do everything in his power to not let you go to the hospital.”
Shuddering, she relaxed into his arms and closed her eyes. Daddy wasn’t going to change his mind and she knew that.
Rogan sighed. “Do it again and I won’t care.”
Gasping, her eyes went wide as she looked at him. Was he really going to hurt Daddy? Kill Daddy? One of his own men. Would he actually do that?
“She won’t do it again,” Daddy said. “But I am serious. You kill her and you are going to have to kill me.”
Rogan nodded. Unease filled Betsy’s stomach. She didn’t want to be in this situation and she didn’t want Daddy to be in this situation either. She had put him in this situation.
“Can we go play and talk in Betsy’s playroom?” Bonnie asked.
“Too much testosterone,” Storm mumbled.
Betsy’s eyes went wide. They wanted to do what?
