30. Chapter Twenty-Eight
CHAPTER TWENTY-EIGHT
BETSY
A ll three of them walked into her room. She held her breath as they looked around. What were they going to say? Did they like her room?
“It’s very green,” Bonnie said. “But I absolutely love it!”
“Is your favorite color green?” Storm asked.
“It is, especially this shade of green.”
It was now one of her favorite rooms in the apartment. That and Daddy’s room. She got to sleep there every night and absolutely loved it. Who wouldn’t?
The feeling of Daddy’s arms wrapped around her as she fell asleep. Feeling the heat come from his body in the middle of the night.
Her own little heater.
But that wasn’t only it. She felt safe and comfortable. She hadn’t had as many nightmares. Though, Betsy couldn’t contribute that to Daddy’s arms around her. She hadn’t had many for several months now.
“Who did you use to paint the walls?” Bonnie asked. “I’ve been wanting to paint the house but I feel like Daddy will tell me we have to hire someone. And whoever did your walls were amazing.”
Betsy giggled.
“What?” Bonnie asked.
“We didn’t hire anyone. Daddy and I painted it together.”
“Wait, you didn’t get any professional help?”
She shook her head. “Nope. I wanted to make it special and have a good memory with him. This was one of the ways. It was a lot of fun.”
Betsy thought back to those days. He had truly made it special when he said he would paint with her. They had only had the paint fight once, but it had been so much fun.
“Ooo, that’s the look of something that happened!” Storm excitedly said. “Do tell. What happened? Did you have sex after you painted? Or while you painted?”
She shook her head. “No, nothing like that happened. Daddy just started a paint war and we had a lot of fun. That’s why there are several splotches of paint on the ceiling.”
Storm and Bonnie looked up, giggling at the sight.
“But nothing sexual?” Storm asked.
“No.”
Betsy was confused. Was something sexual supposed to happen? It hadn’t even crossed her mind.
“That’s okay! I just think it would have been cool if it happened! I know a couple people from Missouri that did a cookie dough blow job,” Storm giggled. “Shit. I wasn't supposed to tell anyone. She told me in confidence. Well, you don’t know her but still. Pretend I didn’t say anything.”
“Promise,” Betsy held up her hand.
“Did it take long?” Bonnie asked.
“It took forever to clean up, but it was so worth it. Daddy knew I needed something to cheer me up.”
“Well, did it take you long to paint the walls?”
“Oh, sorry! It took several hours but having two people really made it go by faster.”
A pensive look flew across Bonnie’s face.
“Maybe we can help if you want to do it by yourself but don’t want it to take long,” Betsy suggested.
“I think that might work. Daddy doesn’t want me to exert myself too much and make it tired,” Bonnie rolled her eyes. “Whatever that means.”
“I know how you feel. Daddy doesn’t want me to do much because I get sick so easily,” Storm patted Bonnie on the shoulder. “But you don’t get sick as easily as I do so hopefully that will change some.”
Betsy sat on the ground, the other two followed right after.
“So, did you really meet Kirk like that?” Storm asked.
She looked down at her hands. “Yeah, it was. I really did hack into Bonnie’s website and moved things around. It took him an hour or so to come to my apartment building. I was about to get dinner when I opened the door and he was standing right there. He took me and the rest is history.”
“He took you?”
“Yeah, he did. Scared me half to death but he pressed something in my neck that made me fall asleep. Then I woke up and I was in his bed.”
“What happened next?” Bonnie asked. “Did he hurt you? I told him not to hurt you.”
She shook her head. “He didn’t hurt me. I woke up and didn’t know where I was so I screamed and fell off the bed, hurting myself. I don’t even know what I hit, but it hurt so bad. Daddy came over, picked me up, and called Angelo. It was quite embarrassing, but he’s had to come over a couple times and look me over.”
“Don’t worry, Angelo had to stitch me up several times,” Storm consoled her.
“I almost puked on him! He also helped heal some cuts and burns on my skin,” Bonnie chimed in. “He takes care of everyone. He is the doctor of the group.”
“Oh, I thought I was the only one he has taken care of,” Betsy mumbled.
“Nope! We are all clumsy and have needed him to do something. I’m pretty sure he came over when I got really sick several times. Told Daddy what to do and look out for. I’m pretty sure Daddy has him on speed dial,” Storm giggled.
They sat in silence after all giggling for several minutes. Betsy had been worried about them not liking her, but it seemed like they did. It seemed like they were going to get along just fine and she couldn’t be more happy.
Actual real friends.
The last time she hung out with people was with Dimitri, AKA Jonathan, and Sabastian. After that, she stopped hanging out with people. Betsy didn’t have anyone to hang out with since she didn’t know anyone.
She probably could have made some friends, but it was hard when she did hacking as a job. Too many questions and she didn’t want that.
“So, I’ve got a question,” Bonnie hesitantly said. “You can totally say no if you want to. I’m perfectly fine not knowing.”
Betsy smiled. “Ask.”
“Kirk said something about your dad and Daddy possibly reminding you of him. What was that about?”
She stilled. That was not the question she thought Bonnie would be asking. She figured it was about her hacking into her website or if Daddy coming over to her house was really how they met. But she didn’t think it was going to be about her dad.
“Um, well he isn’t a good man,” she mumbled, not really wanting to talk about it. “He hurt me. He should be locked up right now but sometimes I kind of wished he was dead. He isn’t though.”
Was it bad of her to want him to be dead? He was her father after all, but he hadn’t acted like it after her mom died. He had turned cruel and against her. She was a spitting image of her mom which didn’t help.
“I don’t really want to talk about it,” Betsy gave a wobbly smile. “Sorry, I just can’t. I really can’t.”
She didn’t want the memories to plague her mind while she was trying to make friends, when Daddy wasn’t right next to her. She didn’t want to think about it in case she had nightmares tonight.
“That’s okay. I shouldn’t have asked anyways. It’s not my business,” Bonnie said.
“Can I ask a question?” Betsy asked.
She was curious about something.
“Go ahead,” Bonnie smiled. “I love questions. If I’m not getting tortured, overstimulated, and can peacefully think.”
Her eyes went wide as she stared at Bonnie. What. The. Heck.
“I think you scared her,” Storm whispered.
“It did actually happen. When I first met Rogan, he thought I was some spy so he put me down in a basement. Well, they have a rule of not hurting innocent women and children but some guy went against it and tortured me for days before Rogan came down to talk to me.”
“What,” Betsy whispered. “Really?”
“Oh, yeah. Totally true. I can show you some of the scars I have. Though, they are fading because Angelo gave me some oil to rub on them. It’s been several months so they are slowly fading if that makes any sense. I don’t understand the whole logistics, but I’m happy for them to be fading.”
Betsy shook her head. “I’m okay without seeing them.”
“No worries! Not everyone likes looking at them. I know Daddy and Daddy Ray don’t so that’s why I asked Angelo for something. But anyways, what is the question you wanted to ask?”
Should she ask the question now? Betsy didn’t want to pry into her life, but she was curious.
“Just ask! If I don’t want to answer I’ll let you know,” Bonnie patted her hand.
“Raynar.”
Realization filled Bonnie’s face. “Ah, you want to know how it works?”
“Yeah. Sorry if you don’t want to answer, I’ve just never seen something like this and I’m curious.”
Betsy had read books about it, several books, but not ever had she seen it in person. She honestly thought it wasn’t real in real life. That it was just something people read and fantasized about.
“Raynar is a switch. So he is a Daddy Dom but he’s also a Little. Daddy Dom to me and Little to Rogan, Daddy. He’s mostly a Daddy Dom if you ask me, I haven’t seen him be Little very often. Not unless it’s been a stressful week or day at work, then he wants to come home and be Little for Daddy,” Bonnie explained. “It works for us. It was hard in the beginning though. Kind of weird and I didn’t think it was real, but it is. I wouldn’t trade it for the world.”
“That’s cute.”
Betsy though couldn’t see herself with two other people. She wanted Daddy and Daddy alone, no one else. She figured Daddy was the same way since he hadn’t brought anything up yet.
“It really is. So, enough about me. I want to know about you. Are you happy here?” Bonnie asked.
“Yeah, are you happy here?” Storm asked. “Cause if you aren’t, I can figure something out and help you get out. I don’t know how, but we could figure something out.”
Betsy smiled. “I am happy. I really am but I’m also a little worried. I bet you’ve heard about it, but someone is after me and I can’t remember for the life of me who it could possibly be.”
It had really been weighing on her mind. She was kicking herself in the foot for not remembering what jobs she did. But Dimitri had told her to forget about jobs so it didn’t weigh her down, that he hadn’t and regretted it.
Dimitri. It suited him way better than Jonathan and she was happy to know his real name now. But she was still sad she couldn’t talk to him or see him. He was like a brother to her, someone she knew she could go to if something went wrong.
Daddy was the same way, but she knew Dimitri for a long time. He had helped her through an important time of her life and made sure she was safe.
But she wouldn’t trade Daddy for Dimitri. He had been out of her life for years and now she had Daddy. There was no going back and she didn’t want to. She was happy with Daddy and that was all that mattered to her. Daddy was amazing.
“I heard about that from Daddy. I don’t think he wanted me to know, but I heard him talk on the phone. They are looking for the guy and are keeping their ears open for anything and everything,” Storm explained. “They are going to find him. I promise.”
“I hope so,” Betsy whispered.
She was worried to go outside, fear that he would be there watching her and ready to strike. But she was also worried about staying in the apartment and not leaving. He knew where they lived which meant he could do anything.
Betsy was cornered in the apartment and she didn't like that. He could do something to the floor below them and she would have no way of getting out. But at the same time there was nowhere else to go. The person after her could probably find out if she left and where she went.
“I can see you thinking about it too much so I am going to change the subject,” Storm said, pulling Betsy out of her thoughts. “We need to have a little playdate or sleepover soon. I love that our little group is growing, but we have yet to hang out and have a sleepover.”
Betsy didn’t want to remind Storm that they had just met. She didn’t even think she was part of the group.
“Silly you!” Bonnie exclaimed. “Of course you are part of our group! Why wouldn’t you be?”
“Did I say that out loud?” Betsy whispered.
“No, but I could see it all over your face. I felt like that when I first met Storm. Very nerve wracking but honestly it was amazing. Awkward for the first couple of minutes like we were but it was smooth after that.”
“We are going to be best of friends! We are going to do so much, hang out so much. It's going to be amazing!” Storm raised her voice. “We need to create a group chat!”
All of them pulled out their phones and exchanged numbers. More like Betsy gave her number to Bonnie and Storm.
“This is going to be amazing! We can plan things and then tell our Daddies about it,” Bonnie exclaimed.
“More like an attempt to come up with plans and then have our Daddies talk about it. You know we can’t do anything without their permission. If we sneak off, all of us are going to have red and sore bottoms,” Storm stated.
“Right, I forgot about that,” Bonnie mumbled. “Okay, I didn’t forget. I knew but I just wanted to pretend like we could make our own decisions and go whenever we wanted. I fantasize about that sometimes.”
“But you love it when they make the decisions for you,” Betsy said, not knowing if it was actually true or not. She had just said it because she knew it was true for her.
“You got me there. I love it so I know if I had to make my own decisions and plans I would absolutely hate it. Sometimes I just wish I didn’t have to ask and could just message asking if we could hang out. There is always a possibility that Daddy or Daddy Ray say no to hanging out.”
“It’s hard, isn’t it?” Storm said. “Imagine not being able to go out all the time.”
“Crap. Sorry, Storm. I always forget you get sick really easily so you don’t do as much,” Bonnie mumbled.
Storm turned to Betsy. “The doctors don’t know what’s wrong, but my immune system sucks. I get sick really easily so Daddy keeps me on a short leash. Not that I mind, I haven’t gotten sick nearly as much since I met him, but yeah. I’ll probably have to take a nap when we get home and drink lots of fluids so I don’t get sick as a precaution.”
“I’m sorry that happens. And the doctors really don’t know what it is?” Betsy asked.
Storm shook her head. “I’ve been to several since I was a kid. Daddy has gotten me into some of the best doctors to run tests but they haven’t been able to find anything. It sucks not knowing, but I’m used to it now.”
Before Betsy could say anything, Rogan stepped into the room. She shied back, looking down at her hands. She was already on his bad side and she did not want to get on it any more.
“Betsy, you are welcome to come to our house any time you want,” Rogan said.
Looking up, She made eye contact. “To torture me?” She asked before she could stop herself.
Her mouth fell open and she looked away. Why did she say that? Why did she have to open her mouth and say that? Why couldn’t she have just kept her mouth shut like she normally did?
Bonnie and Storm laugh, making the situation a little lighter. But Betsy was still shocked and mortified that she had done that.
“Can you look at me, Betsy?”
She shook her head. There was no way she was going to look at Rogan after she said that. Absolutely no way at all. She was never going to be able to look at him again or be near him.
“Now.”
Her eyes found his.
“You are welcome to come and hang out with Bonnie and Raynar at any point. There will be no torture. You can hang out with them.”
“Okay,” she squeaked.
“Good,” he said, looking at Bonnie. “It’s time to go home.”
