My husband dropped back to his knees and kissed my stomach, “Hello there, Hank. Now remember, you’ll be a Christmas pup. Once we open all the presents, it’s your moment. I’m going to make sure everyone is up bright and early.” I snorted, “Dylan, we always are.”
Dylan whispered, “It’s the Conners slackers who try to sleep in. I have my plans though. Buttercup is the key. She SHALL come through with little Wesley because he wants to fulfill all her dreams. You will have your moment, Hank.”
I asked, “What time are you trying to get everyone to do presents? You know Haley waits for all their pups to wake up.” Dylan agreed, “I know. It’s so hard for me, but this year we are on a time crunch.
I keep telling her this, so I know it will sink in.
Buttercup has told Wesley how much she wants a Christmas brother.
I’ve told the pup myself and we know that Beta pups will listen.
Which means all the presents have to be opened before Hank can arrive.
Wesley will do something about the late sleepers to make Buttercup happy. ”
Dylan whispered to my stomach, “Then he will say ‘as you wish’ to Buttercup. It’s something I cultivated in them young. You’ll learn all about it. I can’t wait for you to be here. We simply have to get past the next pesky holiday.”
I laughed, “Dylan, Thanksgiving is not a pesky holiday.” Dylan gasped, “BLASPHAMY! Don’t listen to her, Hank-y.
Thanksgiving is the worst out of all the holidays!
That holiday is simply in the way, and we WON’T be celebrating this year.
It’s going to be a celebration of all our Christmas planning meetings and how much we’ve accomplished. ”
I asked, “How are you working out Haley’s pies? You know she loves making them for Eric.” Dylan answered, “That’s all handled. Our Super Special Fun Sized Fairy Ninja Goddess is cooking them in the Hackura realm, and when she gets back here it will have been like ten minutes.”
“Then there’s another part of the plan. Mrs. Blanch is going to watch over them while my Super Special Fun Sized Fairy Ninja Goddess will use a charm to keep them warm. That way the pies are still there and it’s not Thanksgiving because it’s the worst holiday.”
I questioned, “What was I thinking? Of course you have it all mapped out. What about the decorations?” Dylan replied, “We need to get everyone in the mood, and continue our Christmas thoughts and plans, for Dylanmas.” I laughed, “Haley agreed to that?”
Dylan answered, “Of course she did. I presented her with the evidence and told her how important it was for me to decorate.” I grinned asking, “Would the exploding snowball invitations be making an appearance at this meal? I’ve been waiting for that one. It’s a staple of your parties.”
Dylan winked, “Yes, but the more I make SGAP wait, the longer he will think his Super Special Fun Sized Fairy Ninja Goddess didn’t know about that particular tradition.
He won’t see me coming with my exploding glitter snowball.
