Epilogue
Dylan was cooing at his newborn son. I greeted, “Hello little Hank Benjamin Frost.” Lacy chuckled, “After two men who love your daddy. Hank saved his life, and Ben McAlister is your daddy’s mentor.
” I told my son, “His name is Benjamin, but he goes by Ben. He even had his name officially changed, but I have his original birth certificate.”
Lacy laughed, “Of course you do.” Haley popped into the room. I greeted, “You are right on time, super special fun sized Fairy Ninja Goddess.” Lacy gasped, “Dylan! I do not need to be healed on Christmas. This could’ve waited until tomorrow.”
I pleaded dramatically, “Haley, save Lacy. My mate is talking crazy.” I told Hank, “Mommy says crazy things sometimes, but that’s ok because we love her.
” Lacy sighed, “You pulled Haley away from her family on Christmas.” Haley snorted, “Exfuckingcuse me, but I popped in here of my own free fucking will.” I agreed, “Yeah, I didn’t pull her or anything. ”
Haley agreed, “Since you can’t do that and none of my brothers are here, that is very true.” I grinned at Lacy, loving the very literal Fairy. I told Lacy, “Plus, you have to be there for Hank’s big first Christmas / Birthday party. He has presents his siblings will open and show him.”
Lacy snorted, “I’d ask if you were serious, but I have met you.
” I told Hank, “You’ll always get double dips.
I promise to never let people lump your birthday present into Christmas.
You precious, perfect listening Alpha / Beta blood.
Who waited until all the presents were opened to even have mommy go into labor? That’s you, Hank.”
Lacy laughed, “Go show everyone Hank while I’m healed. Thank you for coming, Haley.” Haley replied, “Of fucking course I came. We are friends.” I left but heard her whisper, “Right?” I knew Lacy would assure her that was true.
I squealed when I saw who was here. I laughed, “Hello, SGAP. You just can’t stay away from me.” SGAP sighed, “Wesley wanted to be here with Buttercup and my wife said she was coming per your request anyway.”
I agreed, “Well, of course she did. I won’t have my mate in pain when there’s a Super Special Awesome Fun Sized Fairy Ninja Goddess running about.
It delights her when people request her help, which in turn makes you happy.

Fang snorted, “You knew he’d let us.” I replied, “Yeah, but I thought he’d have to be all dramatic and to do it after I got hit.” Emmaline asked, “Can you introduce us to the newest Frost?” I dramatically held Hank up supporting his head.
I announced, “This is Hank Benjamin Frost. He honors two great men we all know and love. One who saved yours truly and one who thought he could change his name. Sadly for him, Hank Ben Frost doesn’t have the same ring to it. So, we went with his parental given name.”
Emmaline asked, “Wait, Ben McAlister’s name is Benjamin?” SGAP answered, “When he was born that is what his parents named him, but he filed the official name change when he was eighteen. Literally no one, including his parents, has ever called him Benjamin.”
I whispered, “Yes, but I know that he did that applied for name change. It’s probably why he goes by Beta McAlister. He knows I’d have called him Beta Benjamin. Missed opportunities.” SGAP sighed, “Sure, it’s all about you Dylan.”
I replied, “It’s good that you know that. Buttercup and Finn, front and center. Come see the newest Frost. You two know the drill.” They both laughed and came forward. Buttercup handed Hank the necklace I’d given her to pass on.
SGAP groaned, “Does that actually say passing the mantle as the youngest Frost on it?” I gasped dramatically, “Oh no! Is your eyesight going out? Can you not read the necklace? Eye issues are such a problem as of late. What if someone has tainted our water supply! AM I NEXT?!”
I whisper yelled the last part because little Hank was falling back asleep. SGAP grumbled, “Lucas, do something about him.” My best friend turned brother in law laughed and came over to greet his nephew. Lucas gently took Hank from my hold greeting, “Hello, little man. I’m your Uncle Lucas.”
I grinned at SGAP. The man warned, “Don’t say it.” I teased, “You’re so jealous my pups are Lucas’s nephews. It’s ok. You can acknowledge that in front of our gathered group. This is a safe space, and we are here for you and your jealousy.” Travis and Jackie laughed with their pups.
Emmaline whispered the Fealish blessing for my pup then Debbie claimed her newest grandpup. Lacy joined us with Haley saying, “Alright gang, I’m all healed and have been released by a doctor.” My mate threw a glance at Haley who smiled.
Fang admitted, “I’m a little sad we missed that conversation with Thor’s mate and the doctor.” Yeah, I was too but we were giving SGAP a hard time. It’s clearly where we were meant to be on this blessed Christmas afternoon. Finn asked, “Do we get to open Hank’s presents for him now?”
Debbie asked, “Hank has presents?” I whispered, “You donated to the fund, so some are from you.” Debbie questioned, “How did…?” She glanced off and looked at Dale. Debbie huffed, “Did you know about this, Dale?”
Dale replied, “I’ve met Dylan, and I knew he was up to something. I then figured it out. That’s what Alphas do.” Debbie muttered, “You know what else Alphas do? Tell their mates things. I thought I had taught you that by now.” Everyone laughed.
Lacy gently took Hank back and I motioned for our pups to come over. We had a big family hug. I whispered, “Welcome to the world, Hank Frost. We all love you so much.” Buttercup agreed, “So much!” Finn added, “I’ll never let anything bad happen to you, Hank.”
I kissed the top of Lacy’s head and held my family tightly. I linked Emmaline, “Can you conjure baby headphones onto little Hank?” Emmaline answered, “Of course.” Once they were there SGAP hung his head and groaned.
I smiled while yelling, “A MERRY FROSTMAS TO ALL! ONWARD TO OPEN YOUNG HANK’S PRESENTS FOR HIS FIRST CHRISTMAS AND BIRTHDAY! Lacy gets extra presents for delivering him.” Lacy put her head on my shoulder, and we walked back to the house for Hank’s first Christmas.
