Chapter 39- She Has a Boyfriend
" I know you said that to make me feel better but I suddenly feel like all I want to do is bend you over my desk and have my wicked ways with you," He said with his voice becoming lower.
" Stop Cole, we're in the office and besides, I came here to inform you of your business partner you're expecting, he's at the reception and will be here soon,"
" Nathan?" He asked with a raised brow and I nodded, that was the name of his business partner that was coming up.
" When did Nathan need permission to come up to my office, he must be trying to sweet talk the girl at the reception," He said with a chuckle, I don't know who this Nathan he's talking about is, all I know was that he was his business partner.
" Who's Nathan?" I asked,
" He's my crazy ass cousin, he's a nice guy," Just as we were talking the office door burst open, thank God I decided not to kiss Cole because I knew he'd still be kissing me, he wasn't the type of guy that'd just kiss you and let you go, no, he'd kiss you and grab your ass making sure he pressed you to himself.
We would have given his cousin a show.
" Well you still look as shitty as ever," I heard a familiar voice say and I quickly turned to the door. He was Nathan?!!
" You again?" He asked with a smile and I just looked at him, Cole looked between us in confusion.
" I tried calling you but you weren't picking up," He said, I didn't see any of his calls in my phone, perhaps because his number wasn't saved, I wanted to make sure his hand was okay and there wasn't any damage done.
" I'm sorry I didn't see your call, how's your hand by the way?" I asked
" Good, I told you I was going to feel better after a cold shower,"
" I'm glad," I said as I turned to Cole who was still looking at us in confusion.
" You guys know each other?" He asked.
" Yeah, not like really know each other, but we've met briefly on two occasions," I said,
" You hurt my feelings angel, I feel like I've known you all my life," Nathan said as his hand went to his chest like he just got shot by a bullet to the heart.
" I'll be in my office if you need anything," I said to them as I gave them a smile before walking out of the office.

" So you know my secretary?" I asked Nathan as I took my seat looking at him with narrowed eyes, if he noticed he didn't say anything.
" Yeah, she's pretty and has a charming smile," He said as his eyes took on a wistful look I didn't like one bit, he always had that look when he was about to go after a woman.
I needed to talk to Anna about her smiling at other guys, she was charming and she just wouldn't get it.
" Do you like her?" I asked trying my best to hide my possessiveness.
" I can't say I don't," Which meant he did, why don't I just go ahead and get Anna pregnant so these guys would leave her alone, now my cousin wanted to be on the list.
" She has a boyfriend," I said, as I turned my eyes to my laptop so he wouldn't see the look in my eyes, I'm that boyfriend you flathead.
" I didn't say I wanted to take her from her boyfriend, or I just might, she's gorgeous after all," He said and I clenched my jaw in anger, I didn't like another man talking about my woman like that.
" Why are we talking about my secretary? You came here to talk about business not her," I said trying to change the subject.
" Yeah, I'd just talk to her later," Talk to her where? No way, I had to get Anna out of the office.
The door opened as Anna came into the office with two cups of coffee, she dropped one in front of me and I thanked her then she dropped a cup in front of Nathan and the bastard was looking at her beautiful face mesmerized, I couldn't blame him, but that didn't give him the right to look at her like that.
" Thanks," He said to her with a smile while she gave him that kind smile of hers. I just watched the exchange and suddenly wanted Nathan to be as far away as possible.
Anna walked out of the office with Nathan's eye following her.
" Nathan," I called and he quickly turned to me with a cheeky smile.
" I think I'm in love," That means he's having issues with his thinking faculty because his brain is definitely not working fine.
" There has been a significant drop in the stock market for our products in China, I want you to look at the matter," I said to him, trying to change the topic of Anna if possible, wiping the thought of her from his mind. The jerk was playing with fire.
" Yeah," He answered absentmindedly.
" Nathan, we need to look into that issue immediately and you're not even paying attention to me," I said angrily like it was about business when in the real sense I was angry because he must be thinking of my woman that he wasn't even paying attention to me.
" I've checked the major flaws and it seems the company in China is doing the same thing with us and since it's their country they made it seem like we're the one copying the design of their products, I'll look into it, and make sure everything is resolved," He said and I couldn't be more happier that he finally got his mind off Anna.
I needed to send Anna out so he wouldn't see her on the way out. I took my phone and I typed a message to her.
' Hey love, I suddenly feel like eating a burger, can you get one for me, and make sure to get one for yourself too, I need it now, thank you,' I read it one more time before pressing send.
Now I had to make sure he left my office before Anna returned.
We continued talking about other things that needed attention before I told him it was time to go. I told him I had important clients I needed to talk to so he had to leave.
" Are you sending your handsome cousin away?" Could he just leave, like right now? I walked him out and just as I pressed the elevator button to push him in my heart dropped.
Aside from the fact that Anna was in the elevator, there was just another problem standing right beside her.
