Chapter 53- Sins of a Player
I looked at Anna and the woman who used to warm my bed and I felt like I wanted to disappear. Anna noticed me first and the other woman also turned.
" Baby, this woman is stopping me from seeing you," She said as she ran to me but when she was about to touch me I moved to the side.
" What are you doing in my office?" I asked as my eyes were fixed on Anna who was looking at the woman like she wanted to set her on fire.
" Please can you leave my office, as you can see I've got a client I'm attending to,"
" But I'm not…" The look I gave to Nathan shut him up instantly.
" Woman, as you can see we're busy, can you leave and maybe come again some other time," I glared at him.
" Or never, you're disturbing the peace of this company," Nathan said.
" But baby, you don't use to mind me coming here, in fact you know you like it when I go on my…" Nathan shut her mouth with his hand as he dragged her to the elevator, he pressed the button for the elevator to open and then he pushed her in.
" She's noisy, and she smells of too much perfume," He said making a face like he wanted to throw up.
" How do you deal with all these women?" Could he be quiet?!
Amidst all the drama Anna just stood there watching me with anger in her eyes.
" She smells awful and looks nothing like you Anna," Nathan said as he started walking to her but I held his arm and drew him back.
" For God's sake can you leave me alone, I want to talk to this beautiful lady," He grumbled, but I didn't listen. I dragged him back to my office, while Anna turned away from me and walked into her office, I needed Nathan to be away from here as soon as possible.
" What's your problem brother, you just won't let me talk to her, we would look good together, I've pictured it, I really want her to be my date," That's not going to happen.
" She's already going with me," I said as I sat on my chair, I was feeling really restless, I knew a lot of things would be going on in Anna's mind right now.
" But you've got many other women, go with them,"
" So do you, Anna's my secretary, and she's going with me cause I want her to," I said my eyes going to the door.
" What if I can convince her to come with me,"
" Nathan can you stop bothering me, I've got work to do," I said to him as I stared blankly at my screen.
" Whatever, I'll go to her office, she's going to be nicer than you are,"
" Don't think about it, leave my company immediately," I said as I stood up and held his left arm.
" Where are you taking me to?" He asked as he tried to pull his arm away but I held onto him tightly and dragged him outside my office.
" Nathan, are you leaving already, would you like a cup of coffee in my office?" I heard Anna ask and Nathan quickly pulled his arms from my hold turning to her with a smile.
" Of course, I wasn't leaving, I would be more than glad to have coffee with you," He said happily.
" Okay then, let's go to my office," Nathan quickly walked to her side and then he followed her to her office.
I stood there dumbfounded, how could she invite another man to come and have coffee when I was just standing here?
She must be paying me back for what just happened.
This is my fault, if I wasn't a player I wouldn't be facing this now.
All I wanted to do right now was walk inside there and drag Nathan out, I could see them talking and laughing.
I'm going to ban that man from coming to my office, I knew I couldn't but I wish I could.
This is driving me crazy.

" So tell me about yourself, Nathan," I said as I sipped my coffee looking at Nathan.
" Well, you know I'm the cousin to that thick head, wish there was a way I could change that, but turns out he's my favorite cousin, don't tell him I said that," He said and I chuckled before making a zip motion on my lips and throwing a non-existent key into a non-existent ocean.
" I'm a very easygoing person,"
" I see that," I said with a smile.
" So why did you invite me for coffee, do you like me?" He asked and I couldn't help but chuckle.
" Straight to the point, I like that, so the thing is that I just want new male friends, I don't have much of that in my life and I kinda like you when I saw you, you're a happy and cheerful person and I like people with that type of energy," I said,
" Oh wow, that's the best compliment that I've gotten in a while, thank you for seeing me that way, I like your personality too Anna, especially your smile," He said and I couldn't help but smile.
" See what I'm talking about" He said as he pointed to my lips and I found myself laughing.
" This means we're friends now?" He asked,
" Yeah," I said
" So will you be my date for the ball?" He asked,
" I'd love to Nathan, but I'm already going with Mr. Leonard," I said and he pouted like a disappointed kid looking at me.
" You can just dump him, he'd go with any of his other women," He suggested and I felt myself get angry remembering that woman who walked in here calling him baby. I could dump him like Nathan suggested but I didn't want him with another woman.
" I don't think that's a good idea, he's my boss remember? And I have to make sure the media doesn't have any negative thing to say about him in that ball," I said.
" Oh how sad, it would have been nice for us to go together, we would have looked like the power couples." He said and I chuckled.
Turns out Nathan was fun to talk to and we talked for a while before he left. I knew talking to Nathan was getting Cole jealous but I plan to do more than that, since we're playing the exes. Why don't I show him what I can do?
He asked for it when he couldn't keep it in his pants going after different women.
I was going to give him a taste of his own medicine today.
