Chapter 84- Proving a Point
“ What are you doing here?" I repeated in case she didn't hear me the first time and instead of giving me an answer she just looked at me from head to toe with that look I was familiar with. That look she gives when she's telling you you're nothing like her and perhaps you should kiss the ground she walks on.
“ I don't know what he sees in a tramp like you,”
" Excuse you,” I said as I looked at her up and down,
" Please leave my house, I don't like bitches standing at my doorstep," I said and was about to close the door but she pushed her way inside.
" What is wrong with you?” I asked as I looked at her in anger,
" Get out of my house or I'll call the police,” I warned but she just chuckled,
" Go ahead, call the police so I can tell them how you're sleeping with your boss who happens to be my fiance," she said as she folded her hands looking at me.
“ You sound like a cheap whore to me," Bella suddenly said from the sitting room.
“ And who the fuck are you?" Mirabel asked as she turned to Bella,
“ Your nemesis, you're just a woman trying to force yourself on a man who doesn't love you, why can't you just go throw yourself in the ocean and never come back?" Bella said,
“ Oh really, nothing prepared me that I was going to meet two whores and lowlifes, I feel infected," she said as she shivered in disgust.
" Get out of my house, I'm warning you for the last time,” I said,
" And if I don't leave, what will you do?” she asked as she looked me up and down.
“I'm seriously not in the mood for this, get your disgusting self out of this house," I said as calmly as I could, she was getting on my nerves and I swear I was going to lose it if she said one more thing that annoys me.
“ You're being so nice to her, gosh these legs,” Bella groaned in anger, I knew if it wasn't because of her legs this woman would have been thrown out of my house by now.
“ I'm not going to repeat myself, stay away from my man or I'm going to expose you for being a slut, sleeping around with your boss, this is my last warning," she said as she pointed a finger at me but I wasn't going to stay here and let this woman insult me or call my man hers.
“ If he's your man you wouldn't be here trying to keep me off him, if he were your man he would be so devoted to you he wouldn't look at another woman, so let's put that to a test, call him,” I said as I brought out my phone from my pocket waiting for her to bring out her phone too.
" Come on, call your man and see if he picks your call," I said and she scoffed before she brought out her phone and dialed Cole's number.
The phone rang several times but there wasn't any answer, she tried again and the phone rang for several seconds but there still wasn't a response.
“ It seems your man is too busy to pick your call," I said and her face filled with bitterness.
“ Okay, let me call my man," I said as I dialed Cole's number, putting the phone on speaker and it didn't even ring for long before he picked up.
“ Hey baby,” came his deep voice and I couldn't help but smirk as I looked her straight in the eyes.
" I just wanted to hear your voice," I said with a smile and Mirabel kept looking at me like she wanted to set me on fire.
Cole chuckled and the sound went straight to my heart.
“ Do you want me to come over?" He asked,
“ No, you know what can happen if you come over," I said purposely to spite Mirabel.
“ I like the sound of that, I'm on my way," he said as I heard shuffling in the background.
“ No, no, there's no…” the call ended and I smiled as I turned to Mirabel.
" It seems my man is on his way here,” I said as Bella burst into laughter.
" Go look for your own man,” Bella said, not being able to control herself.
“ You're going to regret this, mark my words," she said before she stormed out of my house in anger, making sure to bang my door.
“ Bitch!" I said in anger before I walked back to the couch to sit down with Bella.
“ That woman is fucking annoying, I swear if not for my legs I would have given her a beating, she just comes here and then insults you in your own house, she should be lucky I can't walk,” Bella said in disgust.
“ Should I tell Cole he shouldn't come, in our little game I ended up inviting him here," I said,
“ He's on his way right?" she asked and I nodded with a pout.
“ Let him come, you need to tell him that witch came her, just so he knows,” she said,
" You're right, I'm really worried she would expose my relationship with Cole,” I said in worry,
" Don't worry about that I don't think she would, she's trying to be on Cole's good side I don't think she'll do something as stupid as that,” Bella said,
" Let's hope so,” I said,
I walked to the kitchen to get snacks so we could eat as we watch TV. I looked through the shelves and brought down some snacks. We brought some of our snacks from our previous place. I needed to go grocery shopping.
I took the snacks and was on my way back to the sitting room when the doorbell rang and I knew it was Cole.
I quickly rushed to the door and opened it and I couldn't help but smile when I saw him. He was dressed casually with a black trousers and white Polo shirt and he had on sneakers. He looked sexy as hell.
“ Mesmerized?” he teased as he walked inside, closing the door and without wasting time he claimed my lips as I held onto my snacks so they wouldn't fall.
He pulled away with a smile as we both walked to the living room.
“ Hello Bella," Cole said with a smile as he took a seat… “ how's it going with the treatments?"
“ Fine, I should be able to walk in a month or so," she said,
“ That's good to know," Cole said,
I sat down beside Cole as Bella looked at me expecting me to tell Cole about Mirabels visit. She kept moving her head and I just kept shaking my head.
“ Tell him," she suddenly said as Cole turned to her.
“ Tell me what?" He asked,
“ One stupid ass bitch was here claiming you were her fiance," Bella said in one go.
“ What?! Mirable was here?" He asked as he turned to me and I nodded,
“ Why didn't you tell me?" He asked,
“ I was going to but I didn't want to spoil your happy mood, she was the reason I called you, I told her to call you to prove a point and you didn't pick her call but you picked mine,” I said with a smile and Cole sighed,
" That woman is getting on my nerves,” he said in anger, his eyes a mirror of how he was feeling inside.
" You should have seen her face when you didn't pick her calls. She looked so bitter, it was fun to watch,” Bella said with a chuckle.
“ I need to deal with this once and for all, Anna you'll be coming with me tonight for dinner with my family,"
“ What?!"
