Chapter 83- A New House
“ Wow Anna this is beautiful, look at the garden, I can just sit here and stare at it, your boyfriend sure has good taste," Bella said as she moved around the house in her wheelchair.
“ Yeah, of course he has good taste that's why I'm his girlfriend,” I said with a hair flip and Bella chuckled.
There were people which I was a hundred percent sure were sent by Cole to help us move, they carried our things inside as I showed them where each item was to be kept.
“ This is nice and the environment looks safe, at least I would be less worried about your ex boyfriend coming back and putting your life in danger," my mom said from the kitchen where she was making snacks she offered to make for the people working.
“ Yes Mom, he's not going to bother me, he's getting all the help he needs and even when he gets released he's not going to find me," I said and she hummed.
Derick didn't end up going to prison, they said that it was a wrong place for him to be that he was depressed which messed with his mind so they sent him to a mental asylum where I'm sure he's getting all the help he needs. I don't know what could have gotten him depressed but that's not my problem to worry about.
We spent the entire day settling in and it was fun especially with my mom's help and Bella's funny jokes.
I was arranging my clothes in the closet when I heard my phone ringing and I couldn't help but smile when I saw the caller.
“ Hey handsome,” I said as I dropped the cloth I was holding and leaned on the table.
" God you sound so sweet, call me that again,” he said and I couldn't help but laugh. Where the hell did I get this man from?
" Hey handsome," I repeated and he made a sound in the back of his throat and I couldn't help but bite my lips.
“ I wish I was there now," he said,
“ Hmm, what will you be doing? Helping me fold my clothes?" I asked even though I knew the type of activity he'd prefer doing.
“ I'd prefer cleaning, cleaning that wetness I know is pooling between your legs right now," he said,, his voice becoming a tone deeper,
“Cole stop, I'm trying to concentrate," I said and he chuckled, just that sound was doing wonders to my body. My nipples were already perked. The power that man has over me.
“ Anna," I heard my Mom's voice calling me,
“ I have to go, my mom's calling me," I said. I had a feeling he was pouting.
“ Alright my love, talk to you later, I love you," he said,
" I love you too baby,” I said before I ended the call and then I walked out of the closet to meet my Mom.
" Mom, what's wrong?” I asked as I saw her face clouded with worry.
" I hate to say this but I have to return to Canada, some things came up at the company and your dad needs my help,” she said,
" Oh, okay what happened?” I asked as I led her to the couch,
" I don't know the entire story that's why I want to go there, I just hope it's nothing serious,” she said,
" Hey Mom calm down, everything would be alright, you and Dad have been handling that company for years nothing is going to happen that would bring it down,” I said and she nodded,
" When do you leave?” I asked her,
" Oh darling, unfortunately I have to leave now,” she said,
" Leaving, where are you going?” Bella voice suddenly asked,
" Mom has to go back to Canada, something came up,” I said and her face became clouded with sadness. None of us wanted her to leave.
" It's okay my babies, no need to be sad, I already called the hospital to send the nurse over that would help you,” Mom said,
“ Okay Mom, I'll help you pack your bags," I said as I quickly rushed to her room to get her things packed. I just hope that whatever happened back home in Canada wasn't something serious.
When I finished arranging all her clothes and other necessary things into the bags, I zipped the bags as I took them and walked out of the room.
“All set Mom, I'll drive you to the airport," I said but she shook her head,
“Just get me a taxi, I don't want you to leave Bella, the nurse would be here any time soon." She said in concern.
“I'm fine Mom, she should drop you off at the airport, it's not like I'm going anywhere,” Bella said,
“ No, Anna would stay with you, I can manage, just get me a taxi," she said and I sighed before I took out my phone and booked a ride.
“ He'll be here in ten minutes," I said,
" Thank you honey,” my mom said as she touched my cheek and I managed a smile.
Some minutes later the taxi arrived and I helped her with her bags before the driver took it and put them in the car boot. I kissed her cheeks before hugging her tightly, already missing her when she was still here.
“ Take care baby,” she said as she kissed Bella on the head then she rubbed her shoulder and moved back.
I could tell she didn't want to leave too but she had to.
" Take care of yourselves for me okay?” she said and we both nodded,
" Bye Mom,” Bella said,
" Bye Mom, have a safe flight,” I said as she opened the car door and got in, then the driver started the car and drove away. I kept waving until they were out of sight.
“ I miss her already," Bella said with a pout,
“ Me too, let's go back inside," I said as I helped Bella back inside the house.
We just decided to watch TV instead of working because we were both too sad to keep working.
We were still on the couch lazily watching TV when the doorbell rang.
“ I think that must be your nurse," I said as I got up from the couch and made my way to the door but the moment I opened the door, the person standing there wasn't who I was expecting.
“ What are you doing here?"
