Chapter 130- Confessions and Forgiveness
As soon as I heard that she was awake I practically ran out of the house as I got into the car.
I drove out of the house, heading straight to the hospital as I clenched my hands on the steering wheel, impatience filling me.
I got to the hospital as I parked the car and ran into the building. I stopped at her room door trying to compose myself before I knocked.
I quietly opened the door and walked in as everyone turned to me but the only eyes that caught my attention were her beautiful eyes.
Those brown eyes that have haunted me for years.
“ Hey," I greeted as the Liam guy bent to her and kissed her cheeks before walking out of the room, her assistant following.
“ I'm glad you're awake," I said, not knowing what else to say.
" Thank you for saving me,” she said. She didn't have to thank me for anything, I'd do anything for her.
" Why did you do it?" She suddenly asked and I looked at her in confusion.
“ Anna, I'd do it all over again, I can't see you in trouble and not do anything," I said,
“ Not that Cole, why did you lie to me? Why didn't you tell me what was going on?" she asked and I sighed understanding what she was talking about.
Mirabel must have said something.
“ I didn't have a choice Anna, it didn't look like there was a way around for me," I said,
“ A way around what?" She asked and I went ahead to tell her my father's threat that started everything.
By the time I was done she was a crying mess.
“ Hey, please stop crying,” I said as I got up from the chair and hugged her.
“ Everything is alright, everything will be fine from now on, it's not good for you to cry," I said as I ran my fingers through her hair as she cried in my chest.
I've imagined her in my arms again but not crying.
“ I can't imagine what you went through just because you wanted to protect me, my family, and I spent years hating you, I was so mad at you," she cried as I held her even tighter like she would disappear.
“ That was what I wanted, for you to hate me, I felt like the more you hate me the less painful it'll be for you. I knew I hurt you but that was the only thing I could think of, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry," I said as I closed my eyes.
I hope my dad is happy for everything he has done.
She stopped crying as she looked up at me.
“ I couldn't hate you Cole, instead I hated myself for not being able to hate you. You told me everything was fake and yet there was just a part of me that never wanted to believed you and I think it's that part that kept my love for you burning. I never stopped loving you,” she said and as much as I wanted to control myself I felt my eyes burn with tears.
" I've loved you every single day you were gone, I've done nothing but think about you. I love you Anna, I love you so, so much,” I said as I placed my hand on her face.
" I love you Cole, I've always loved you,” hearing her say those words felt like I finally became whole again, I felt better.
I could live again, breath again.
I couldn't contain my happiness. I dropped my lips on hers and kissed her and she kissed me with the same passion.
I missed her, I missed this so much. The feeling of her lips pressed on mine, her hands holding me, I've missed everything about her.
I pulled away when she became out of breath as I looked into her gorgeous eyes.
“ This feels like a dream," I said,
" Yeah,” she whispered as I rubbed my thumb on her lips.
“ I want to see my son, please bring him to me," she said and I nodded.
Sammy was at school, I'd bring him to her as soon as he gets back. But there was one thing I couldn't wait to tell her, I've waited too long, I can't waste any more time.
“ How about we finish what we started four years ago?”
