Once Lizzie came down with Ava and a few bags I quickly grabbed them off her taking them to the car. 'You're a fucking bitch, a selfish bitch' Jackson screamed at her with Ava in her arms. I wanted nothing more than to slap his stupid face. But Lizzie grabbed my hand. 'Let's go'. I breathed and realised it wasn't worth it. I finally have the woman I love and a daughter I need to get to know so I walked behind them getting into the car. 'Right anyone hungry?' I asked and Ava jumped up 'burgers' I smiled at her then made our way to a burger place.
As we sat there around the table, I was helping Ava eat her burger as it was just as big as her I felt Lizzie staring at me. I looked up and she was looking at me with tears in her eyes. 'Hey you okay?' I asks and she nodded her head. 'Yeah I'm just so happy to be here with you both' she says wrapping her arm around my shoulder and started to play with the back of my head. I smiled at her. 'Thank you for giving me another chance love'. I leant forward and kissed her. It was amazing. It felt natural. And I loved it.
After food we made our way back home. I told Lizzie I would go over to grab more of her stuff in the week. Once they unpacked there things they brought. All three of us sat down and watched a movie together. Ava sat on my lap her back leaning against my chest. And Lizzie snuggled into my side. Ava was singing along to all of the Disney songs and it was the most adorable thing I've ever seen. I looked down at both of them and just smiled. Knowing I never want this moment to end.
