ch 45 Unanswered call
then after few moments and long kisses they straightens she looks around the desk and chuckles saying'' Aarav, look what we done.''
Aarav chuckles saying ''hmm... its like how you ruined me, Ashiana, with your love and cheos.''
Ashiana smilles looking at him then she fixes her hairs and clothes and as she stands her heels twists.
Aarav instantly caught her before she could fall, his arms wrapping around her waist tightly. Her face scrunched in pain as she clutched his shirt.
"Ahh... my foot... it hurts," she whimpered, trying to balance but failing.
He immediately crouched, his hand gently holding her ankle. "Don't move," he ordered softly but firmly, eyes scanning her foot. "You've twisted it."
"I told you not to wear these heels," he muttered under his breath, his tone low a mix of concern and irritation.
She bit her lip, trying to smile through the pain. "You told me to look perfect for the meeting, Mr. Malhotra... perfection demands sacrifice," she teased weakly.
He looked up at her, shaking his head with a faint smirk. "Then sacrifice accepted, Mrs. Trouble," he said, before effortlessly scooping her up in his arms.
"Aarav!" she gasped, arms instinctively wrapping around his neck.
"Quiet," he said, glancing at her with that sharp yet tender gaze. "You're not walking anywhere for the next few hours."
She pouted. "But my file—"
"File can wait," he cut her off, walking out of the cabin with her in his arms. "You can't."
At the private lounge.
the one only the four brothers ever used. Aarav carefully lowered Ashiana onto the couch. Her ankle was slightly swollen, and she winced as he touched it.
"Hold still," he murmured, uncapping the ointment.
"Ahh... Aarav... slow... move slow, please... ouch!" she whined, her voice soft yet dramatic.
From outside the lounge door, Aditya, Kabir, and Raghav were passing until they froze.
Kabir squinted. "What's happening inside?"
Another sound came her muffled, "Aahhh... Aaravvv..."
Raghav blinked, looking at the other two. "It's Aarav and Ashiana inside... oh god... are they—"
Aditya burst into a grin, folding his arms. "Ohh... seems the air is heavy inside..."
Back inside, Aarav was calmly wrapping the bandage around her ankle.
"Oohh Aarav... it's so big... it covers too much—" she said innocently, staring at the thick bandage.
Outside, all three brothers exchanged horrified, dramatic looks.
Kabir whispered, "Oohhh... it's biggg..."
Before any of them could say another word, the door swung open.
Aarav stood there tall, sharp-eyed, completely serios while Ashiana sat behind him on the couch, blinking innocently with her bandaged foot propped on a pillow.
The three froze mid-expression.
Raghav coughed. "We... uh... came to check... if the air was... too heavy."
Kabir muttered under his breath, "And it is... damn."
Aarav narrowed his eyes. "Out."
Aditya chuckled, dragging the other two away. "Yes, yes, boss. Continue your... first aid."
Ashiana buried her face in her hands as Aarav sighed deeply, fighting the urge to smile.
then after few days
Ashiana was in market doing shopping raj with her.
she was buying toys with him and said, ''look Raj... these soft toys they are soo cuteeeee... lets buy these five okk... but you promise me you will share them with me too.. '' i said with cute pout and squeezing his cheeks.
Raj giggled, clutching the stuffed bear in his tiny hands.
"Promiseee, Ashiana di! But only if you share your chocolates with me too," he said, widening his eyes with mock innocence.
Ashiana gasped dramatically. "Whatt?! You're blackmailing me, mister!"
He nodded proudly, grinning from ear to ear. "Yes! Papa says never do free deals."
I chuckled, shaking my head. "Uff, papa ka beta... poora khandani malhotra nikla!" Ashiana said, ruffling his hair affectionately.
Raj laughed and tugged at her dupatta. "Then deal pakka, di! Toys aur chocolates dono half-half!"
"Fineee," Ashiana sighed playfully, pretending to give up. "But remember, I'm taking the pink bunny first."
He pouted. "Nooo! I wanted that one!"
Ashiana leaned down, booping his nose. "Then race to the billing counter whoever reaches first gets it!"
Raj's eyes sparkled, and he took off running, shouting, "You'll lose, diiii!"
"Raj! Wait.. don't run that fast!" Ashiana called after him, laughing as she chased him through the toy aisle, shopping bags bouncing in her hand.
then at a ice cream stall.
Ashiana leaned close to Raj, voice dropping to a mischievous whisper as she licked the melting ice cream.
"Don't tell anyone we're here alone, okay? without guards. If your Aarav tauji knows he will kill me, got it?" Ashiana teased, ruffling his hair.
Raj's eyes went wide with mock seriousness. "Haan, di! I won't tell. I promise." He stuck out his tiny finger for a pinky promise, then instantly ate another spoonful of ice cream.
then they driving back to home.
Raj giggled, swinging his legs in the seat beside me as the car rolled smoothly down the quiet road.
Ashiana grinned, glancing at him before focusing back on the steering wheel. "See, Raj... if Aditya sir had seen me driving this smoothly, he'd be so proud of me right now,"
she said, a hint of pride in her voice. "After all, he's the one who taught me how to drive."
Raj tilted his head, curious. "Aditya tauji taught you?"
"Hmm," I nodded, smiling softly. "He's my teacher... and like my brother too. Always beside me, for everything. Even when I mess things up." I chuckled, remembering how patient he'd been through every near miss and sudden brake.
Raj giggled again. "Then he's the best teacher!"
"Exactly!" I said, laughing. "But shhh... don't tell him I said that or he'll tease me all week."
The wind fluttered her hair as she drove, a calm silence falling between them for a while the kind that feels warm, not empty.
The streets passed in a blur of sunlight and shade, and for a fleeting moment, everything felt peaceful just ashiana and Raj, laughter, and the soft hum of the car engine beneath their shared joy.
then.
The sudden screech of tires tore through the calm afternoon. Ashiana's heart leapt to her throat as two black SUVs swerved in from either side, boxing her car in.
"Raj! Hold on tight!" Ashiana gasped, gripping the wheel.
her foot slammed the accelerator, but before she could turn, a third car screeched to a halt right in front of them cutting off every escape.
Ashiana hit the brakes hard. The tires screamed, the car jolted, and Raj yelped as his ice cream fell to the floor.
her instincts took over she threw her arm around him protectively, pulling him close.
her trembling fingers scrambled for her phone. "Aarav... pick up... pick up..." she whispered shakily.
The line connected — "Aashiana?" his voice came through, tense but before Ashiana could speak, the door wrenched open.
Masked men. Black clothes. Cold eyes.
Ashiana tried to scream, but a rough hand covered her mouth.
Raj shouted, "Di! Di!" as they dragged us out her nails clawed at the air, her phone slipping from her hand, falling onto the car seat Aarav's voice echoing faintly through it, "Hello? Aashiana? Say something! Aashiana!"
The men shoved us into a waiting car.
Doors slammed.
Tires screeched again.
And within seconds, the road was empty only her car left behind, door open, phone still blinking with Aarav's call his voice breaking through the static, filled with panic and fear.
