Chapter 14
Chapter Fourteen
Sofiya
My body is achy after Dimitri claimed me.
I’m spent as I lay on the bed and Dimitri goes into the bathroom and turns the tub on. Without a word, he comes back and carries me into the bathroom, setting me in the warm water. I sink into the warmth, letting out a soft moan.
“You did good today, Sofiya. I know I wasn’t easy on you. I’ll take care of you now.”
I sink into the tub. He grabs a soft towel from one of the bathroom counter drawers and dips it into the water before running it over my chest. Despite everything we just shared, a heat goes through me again.
I thought my body would be tired of it but it just can’t seem to get enough of Dimitri and he knows it.
“Does this feel good?” he asks, running the towel over my breasts and gently rubbing each of my nipples. I can’t stop myself from gasping. His smile is mischievous. “Sofiya, answer me.”
“It does. It feels good.”
He keeps his eyes locked with mine as he lowers the towel down to my stomach. “Spread your legs for me. I need to make sure you’re good and clean after how hard I took you.”
I can’t stop myself from blushing at his words.
“I know I was rough,” he murmurs as he draws the towel between my legs. My hips buck up on instinct as he runs the towel over my folds. They’re so sensitive, especially in the warm water, that it actually hurts a little to be touched there.
“Why didn’t you get naked?” I whisper. For some reason, I can’t ask that question any louder. It’s as if Dimitri will disappear if I do.
“In time. But for now, I just wanted to take you.”
“But you didn’t want to share your own self with me.”
He looks away for a moment before rubbing the towel back and forth over my sensitive nub. “Just focus on what I’m doing for you and nothing else.”
He’s trying to change the subject, I know, and I’m too weak to stop him. My head drops back as my hips rise up to meet his hand. The sight of his bare forearm, his sleeve pushed up to his bicep, is turning me on more than anything should. Just the strength of his body lights me on fire.
“It hurts,” I whimper. “I can’t take it anymore.”
“I have to get you good and clean so you will take it. Be a good girl for me, Sofiya. Just enjoy the pleasure I give you.” Pleasure mixed with pain.
My body is too tired to put up a fight so I let Dimitri rub the towel between my legs, right over my clit. My legs splay out to the side and my hands grip the edge of the bathtub, trying to keep myself steady. The pain is unbearable but the pleasure is almost more so.
I turn my head to the side and lock eyes with Dimitri. The little smile on his lips tells me he knows exactly what he’s doing to me. He’s claiming me in all different ways. Making my body so desperate for him, I can’t think about anything else.
“I know this feels good,” he says, pressing down more firmly on my clit with the towel. The texture of the towel is slightly rough and it only adds to my pleasure. “Come for me again, Sofiya.”
“I can’t,” I whine.
“Yes, you can. I know you can. I want your whole body. I know it’s tired from my cock. But you need to be ready to take me again soon. I won’t be able to wait long to have you again. I’m going to fuck you every day from now on and you’re going to love every second of it.”
The next swipe of the towel over my nub is enough to send me over the edge once more. I shudder and sigh and whisper his name, too spent to scream. The urge to cry hits me. I don’t stop my tears from running down my face.
“It’s ok, baby,” he whispers, giving a kiss to my forehead. “I know it was a lot. You made me proud today.”
“I did?” I sound so pathetic asking and yet, I don’t even care.
“You did.” Finally, he removes his hand from between my legs and gives my body the break it so desperately needs. “Let’s finish washing you up and get you to bed. I know you’re tired.”
I really am and I’m powerless to stop it.
When I wake up, it’s nighttime. I accidently took a much longer nap than I meant to. Dimitri isn’t beside me. Probably working like he always does.
After slipping into a simple satin nightgown, I head downstairs.
A deep, dull ache is sitting heavy between my legs, making it hard to walk.
But I know it will get easier the more times Dimitri and I have sex.
My face turns hot at the idea. Just knowing he wants to show me pleasure like he did is almost too much to handle.
I stop on the bottom step when I hear voices in the living room.
Male voices. Something in my gut tells me I shouldn’t reveal I’m here, listening in.
Sneaking forward on my tiptoes, I reach the edge of the living room – the space between the foyer and the living room.
Taking a peek around the wall, I see that Dimitri is talking to multiple men.
Probably just business.
But then I see who the men are and I realize I recognize them. There are four guests. One of them seems like the leader, judging from the way he’s talking with authority to Dimitri.
He also has a scar across his face that I’ll never be able to forget. It still haunts my dreams sometimes.
Because he’s the man who kidnapped me in Greece and put me up for auction where Dimitri saved my life.
“I told you not to come here,” Dimitri hisses. “You need to leave soon.”
“We will,” the scarred face man says. “But you were supposed to hold up your end of the bargain. You were supposed to pay us for the job we did for you.”
What job? I wonder. A heavy weight settles on my stomach, almost making me vomit.
“I did pay you,” Dimitri says calmly. “I gave you five hundred thousand dollars for the job.”
“Well, now me and my men want a million.”
Dimitri scoffs. “No. You did what I asked of you. You kidnapped Sofiya. You didn’t hurt her. I paid you for that. Now, we’re done. So you need to go.”
“I’ll only go when you pay me more money.”
“Or I can just end your life now. You do know that right?”
The scarred man makes a point of looking around the room. “You do realize that there are four of us and only one of you?”
“I do. But you’re in my house. I have cameras stationed outside.
It won’t be hard for the police to find out you killed me.
So I suggest you go before you cause more problems. You’re not going to get another cent from me.
Not when I already paid you. So get out if you don’t want me ending your life. ”
“If you don’t give me my money, I may just have to kill that pretty wife of yours. Kidnap her for real. Fuck her for real.”
A look of pure, unadulterated anger crosses Dimitri’s face and he slams a hard right hook into the scarred man’s face, sending him to the ground. Dimitri has his gun out and pointed at the man within seconds.
“Try me again,” Dimitri warns. “And I’ll shoot you in the fucking head. Don’t mess with me, Alekos. Just go back to Greece and don’t bother me again and we can forget this ever happened.”
Alekos looks at Dimitri’s gun and sneers. “Fine. We’ll go. But we’ll be back.”
“Sure.” Dimitri’s tone makes it clear he doesn’t think Alekos will be a threat. Probably because he’s going to send a hit out on the men and get rid of the problem before it becomes a problem.
But there’s just one problem: it’s already become one.
Did Dimitri hire these men to kidnap me so he could save my life and make me indebted to him? Make me desperate for him?
That’s what it sounds like to me and there’s no way I can unhear it. I slump against the wall, trying to catch my breath.
That’s when Alekos and his men walk past me in the foyer and stop when they see me. In my shock, I forgot to run away in time.
Alekos gives me a dark grin. “Well, if it isn’t the wife herself.”
Dimitri storms into the foyer, his eyes widening when he sees me. “Sofiya, what are you doing here?”
“What’s going on?” I whisper.
“Get out,” Dimitri says to Alekos. “You and your men. Go. Now.”
“I’m pretty positive she heard everything,” Alekos says. “This is sweeter than money. Knowing your own wife is going to find out about our deception.”
“Go,” Dimitri snaps.
Alekos leaves with a chuckle as his men follow behind.
That’s when Dimitri turns back to me. “Sofiya –,”
I raise my hand, cutting him off, and he actually goes silent so I can speak. Because we both know Dimitri messed up and he can’t blame it on me this time.
“Just tell me the truth. Did you hire those men to kidnap me so you could save my life?”
“Yes.”
His admission shocks me, even though it shouldn’t. I did always think it was strange how the men kidnapped me back in Greece. How they were just in my room and Dimitri was nowhere to be seen. How they had somehow managed to overpower Dimitri.
Now it all makes sense because it was a setup.
Another way to break me down and make me desperate for Dimitri.
“How could you?” I whisper.
“I told you I wasn’t a good man, Sofiya.”
“And that’s supposed to make it ok? You hired men to kidnap me just so you could play the hero. You’re sick in the head.”
“I didn’t hear you complaining about me when I fucked you. When I showed you more pleasure than you’ll ever get from anyone else in this world.” He cups my face with both hands. “I did what I had to do to get you to break. To make you mine.”
“You could have just showed me kindness.”
“Sofiya, I was born into a new man when my father murdered my mother. I became one with the darkness. I want you to join me there. I have no desire to be a kind husband. I want to be the husband that you can’t live without.
And to do that, I needed you so afraid, you’d fall into my arms. Was it fucked up?
Yes. By other people’s standards, yes. But by my standards, no.
Because I’m willing to do what I have to do to get you. And I’m still willing to do that.”
“Let me go.”
“Sofiya –,”
“Let me go!” I scream so loudly that he actually jerks back, dropping his hands from my face.
I run past him and he doesn’t stop me. I end up in the kitchen because it’s the closest place to the foyer and I just need to think.
With it being dark out, Ann is already gone for the day, leaving just me and Dimitri alone.
Well, and Katya but she wants no part in any of this. What would she think if she found out her brother hired men to kidnap his wife just to break her? Would Katya be afraid of Dimitri? Or would she not be bothered at all?
A simmering anger fills me up and that’s when my eyes land on a large kitchen knife in a butcher block and I find myself grabbing the knife before I even realize what I’m doing.
