Chapter 12 Fierce Protection
Chen Fu opened his mouth to snap back, then his eyes landed on the Porsche key at Sheng Yi’s waist.
His face stiffened. He forced a dry laugh, then turned nasty.
“Tch. These days they don’t even call it a sugar baby anymore, huh? Straight to girlfriend?”
“Interesting. When you’re done playing, pass her to me? I’ll pay ten thousand.”
Those two sentences made my blood boil.
I grabbed the mop by the door and swung.
The next second, Sheng Yi took it from me with one hand.
He stepped in front of me, shielding me from Chen Fu’s leering stare.
“Ever think about consequences before running your mouth?”
He had a point.
Chen Fu was a grown man. I probably couldn’t take him.
But then…
Sheng Yi smashed the mop straight onto Chen Fu’s bald head.
One kick sent the man flying back into his apartment.
He even kindly closed the door for him.

I was stunned.
“Didn’t you say to consider consequences?”
“I can handle them.”
Sheng Yi dropped the broken mop handle and waited calmly for Chen Fu to come back out.
Every few seconds, Chen Fu charged out waving a kitchen knife and cursing.
“Fuck you—”
Halfway through the curse, Sheng Yi disarmed him bare-handed right in front of me.
When the blade rested against Chen Fu’s fat neck, the man’s voice was ice-cold.
“Harassment and assault with a deadly weapon—if I killed you now, it’d be self-defense. Get lost.”
Chen Fu froze, his vicious glare looking like it wanted to tear me apart.
“Good. Very good.”
