Chapter 30 Blueprints
Over the months I have been here I have been meeting with families with elderly people and families with children, to find out what would make living a day-to-day life easier.
I found that most people though they loved their elders found it difficult to work as well as care for their loved ones, they asked for a facility where the doors would always be open and that their loved ones would be taken care of by licensed staff.
Families with children wanted a safe place where their children could go when the parents worked or needed a babysitter.
I would love to build an all day and night facility with staff who specialize in child development.
I met with Emerelda and told her about everything I would like.
She looked so excited to be taking on such a large project.
We can break ground once the homes are finished.
Aylin told her to send the blueprints to us once they were finished and to let him know the final cost.
I heard him speaking to Emerelda and he said that the cost doesn’t matter but it would be more for the paperwork.
I really didn’t take into consideration the cost so I would have to discuss this with Aylin, since I did not have any money to my name.
When we got home I pulled him to the side, “Hey babe, I don't know why I didn’t consult you first about the cost of this project, I think we should discuss it. I am bringing no income into this relationship and yet I have very expensive plans, I am so sorry.
I can cancel everything if you want me to?”
“Celest, come with me. I want to show you something.”
I walk with Aylin holding his hand and he brings me to the study.
He goes over to our looking glass, a glowing rectangular magical device, and opens up a file that says accounts.
“Look here love, these are our personal accounts. I run multiple companies and when the Lycan people were defeated in battle all the accounts were left to me, well us. This is our money. You can do whatever you want with it.
I do have a savings account that I have been using which is funded by interest alone, so I ask that you please don’t touch that one but this other account is totally available.”
Aylin takes the looking glass and turns it to me, the total is 400 billion dollars.
I look at the number multiple times and stumble backwards.
“Whoa there hun,” Aylin says and grabs my hands.
“I know it’s a big number but I have been working for well over 120 years, and I am a very successful business man. Please feel free to make this pack everything you dreamed of.”
“Aylin, our pack is going to be wonderful. I am excited to watch it grow, however I need to go to Endora. I know you don't think it's a good idea, but I have been researching them. I have put it off for long enough and since everything here is settled it’s time.
Emerelda can contact us while we are out if needed. I want to leave in three days” “Okay, we will leave in three days then, I know you believe this is your destiny and I am not going to stand in your way. You have helped our pack in so many ways, including renewing a pact with a land serpent.
Just please, if I tell you to hold back, please listen and let me make sure we are safe.”
I stood there shocked. I thought that was going to go a lot worse, I am happy he decided to come with me.
“Three days Celest, that’s not very long, make sure you’re packed and ready to go, I will make arrangements with the staff to ensure everything runs smoothly while we are away.”
