Chapter 36
THIRTY-SIX

Olivia sat on the edge of the pool, legs dangling in the water, gloriously naked. The soft outdoor lights cast a glow on the water while I floated, staring at her.
We swam in silence before we fucked in the shallow end of the pool. After talking in the house earlier, neither of us seemed interested in saying anything. The silence was surprisingly comfortable.
“Ready to go in?”
“Yeah.” My fingertips had turned into prunes, but I’d put off getting out because I wanted to prolong the night.
“Let’s rinse off before bed.”
“Your shower?”
“Of course, we’ve already gone over how it’s the best one in the house.”
“Hey,” I said, hand reaching out to grasp her shoulder. “I’m not ready for the night to end.”
“I’m not either.”
“Where am I sleeping?”
“With me, if that’s what you want.”
“Yeah. I didn’t want to make assumptions.”
“Look at us, communicating like healthy grown adults—”
I laughed. “Well, we certainly fucked like animals all night. Gotta prove we’re still human.”
“Okay. Actually, there are some rules for sleeping in my bed.”
“I don’t snore.”
“Likely story. But no, I’ll cover your face with a pillow if it gets too loud.”
“Okay. Rules then—what are they?”
“First one awake has to go down on the other.”
“Has to?” I felt a permanent grin break out across my face. She rewarded me by pinching my cheek.
“Fine—gets to. How the hell are dimples so goddamn sexy?”
“Because they’re mine.” She smirked, but didn’t deny it. See? I was getting through to her. “What are the other rules?”
“The person who gets the happy ending makes breakfast.”
“What if we both get a happy ending?” I asked.
She shook her head with a smile. “I’m shit at setting limits, Nate.”
“Good. There shouldn’t be limits with us.” Her playful mood dropped off into silence. Fuck. Too far, too fast.
“Speaking of limits—is there anything off-limits sexually with you?”
We both stepped into the shower. This time, it was less playful and more utilitarian.
“Should there be? I don’t know.”
“What’s your first thought when I bring up ass play?” she asked, staring right at me.
“Yours or mine?”
“Either—both.”
“Don’t laugh—” I said, trying not to cringe. I’d never dreamed of telling anyone this, but Olivia just pulled things out of me naturally.
“I would never. There’s nothing wrong with a good old fantasy, as long as it’s legal and there’s consent.”
Fuck, I’d started it—no turning back now.
“Ok, so a good friend of mine, one who was gay and very open—gave way too many details. One of those details was a vivid description of his first prostate orgasm. I mean, why the hell don’t they teach us that stuff in sex ed?”
“To be fair, they didn’t teach me about my G-spot either,” Olivia said.
“Well, I found it.” My face got hot when I said that.
“And? Did you like it?” Was that excitement I saw on her face?
“Yeah. And to be honest, I worried it might make me gay, but then I did some research—”
“Research isn’t going to tell you that, Nate.”
“Oh, I know that now. But what reassured me was that when I fantasized about a plug up my ass, the lips on my dick were always attached to a tiny blond with perfect tits.”
“Just like me,” she said in jest.
“Yeah—just like you.”
“Well, I thought I was bisexual for a while,” she said.
I turned off the water and grabbed our towels, wrapping one around her before I dried myself off. “What made you think that?”
“Okay, if I tell you this, you need to realize that I’ve only ever talked about this with Sophie. She probably told Bran, but he’s a vault. There were some rumors, too…”
“I’m a vault.”
“When I realized that I wasn’t seeking a relationship, but didn’t want to live my life with a string of one-night stands, I accepted a proposition from a couple.”
My head spun. “A couple? Like a man and woman?”
“Yes. She had always fantasized about having sex with a woman, and I was curious. It seemed like a safe way to explore it and have sex with no potential for anything long-term.”
“And she was okay with you having sex with her husband?”
“Yes. They were swingers. They had rules they had agreed upon, so I never had sex with him without her in the room, and he and I couldn’t kiss—I was with them for about three years.”
“Why did you end it?”
“They did. They decided to have a family and took a step back from the lifestyle.”
“Is that something you would ever do again?” I asked.
“Be a third?”
“Yeah—or take a third into your relationship—”
“I don’t think so. Be a third, that is. I don’t plan on having a relationship either, so taking a third would be out of the question too.”
“That’s not answering the question—do me a favor and pretend. Pretend you’re in a relationship and this guy is the one—”
“No such thing as that—but okay, I’ll pretend.”
“Would you ever take another woman or man into your relationship?”
She got quiet and walked to her bed, turning back the covers and pulling me into her. Her skin, still chilled from the shower, caused mine to erupt in goosebumps.
“So if this hypothetical guy was my hypothetical soulmate, fuck no. I’m not sharing, and he’d best not want to share me.”
“So there is something that’s off limits for you,” I said, pushing her onto the bed.
“You know what’s not off limits to me?”
“What?” I asked.
“Handcuffs, spanking, ass play, cum play—”
“Cum play?” My dick twitched imagining her with my cum dripping down her chin, covering her tits.
“Ooh, baby. I feel what that did to you.”
“It’s a tough choice, though. I’d honestly prefer to paint the inside of that perfect pussy.”
“That’s because it’s new. When you’re ready, cover me, okay?”
“Fuck, yes.”
And maybe, when you’re ready, you’ll start to see that we’re perfect for each other.
