Chapter 11 #2
Jade spun Lillian around and shoved her toward the bedroom, kicking the door shut behind them.
She pushed Lillian down onto the bed and fell on top of her, straddling her waist. Lillian’s chest pounded with excitement as she looked up at Jade.
She leaned forward and hooked her arms beneath Jade’s legs, pulling her forward until she was almost sitting on Lillian’s face.
Lillian pushed two fingers inside of her and used her other hand to pull her closer until her tongue could reach Jade’s swollen clit.
Jade threw back her head and grabbed onto the headboard, rolling her hips against Lillian’s mouth.
Lillian pumped her fingers harder and faster as Jade rolled against her tongue, but she still wanted more.
She thrust her fingers inside Jade again and again until Jade was crying out in pleasure, her muscles clamping hard around Lillian’s hand.
Jade leaned over, reaching into her nightstand drawer, and Lillian’s pulse raced.
Jade pulled out a shaft that looked like it was made from rubber or silicone with straps around it, and Lillian gasped.
She took it from her and pushed the shaft deep inside Jade, who threw her head back and cried out again.
Lillian maneuvered Jade until she settled over Lillian’s hips and strapped the pieces around her while it was still inside Jade.
Then she flipped her over so that she was lying on top of her, their chests pressed together as she began to roll her hips.
She buried her face in Jade’s breasts, biting and sucking at her nipples as she thrust into her again and again, Jade moaning with each deep thrust.
Only when Jade was screaming in pleasure again did Lillian begin to slow down. At this point they were both soaked, with sweat and rain and their own juices. Lillian rolled over, the shaft springing free from Jade, and she looked at Lillian with a gleam in her eyes.
“My turn,” Jade said breathlessly and unhooked the piece from Lillian’s hips.
She strapped it to herself before Lillian could protest and took Lillian by the hips.
She turned her to face the headboard and lifted her ass into the air.
Lillian gasped in pleasure as Jade played at her opening with the tip.
“This what you want?” Jade teased as she pushed just past Lillian’s entrance.
“Yes,” Lillian breathed as Jade slowly pushed inside her, stretching her around the shaft.
“You want me?” Jade asked and ran her hand up Lillian’s back to grip her shoulder.
“Yes,” Lillian gasped again as she gripped the headboard, her whole body burned with need, with desire. Nothing could stop their chemistry, their passion, their complete desire.
“Say it,” Jade demanded and thrust deep into Lillian.
“I want you,” Lillian cried out.
“Say it again,” Jade demanded, pulling slowly back out.
“I fucking want you, Jade,” Lillian moaned, and Jade thrust into her again. She gripped Lillian’s shoulders and thrust deep into her again and again as Lillian screamed in pleasure.
She pulled out, and turned Lillian to face her, opening her legs and sliding Lillian on top of her lap. Lillian rolled her hips to allow the shaft to penetrate deep within her, rolling her head back as she gripped Jade’s shoulders.
“Say it,” Jade said as she rolled against Lillian.
Lillian rolled her hips against Jade, whose hands held them in place.
“I want you, Jade,” Lillian said, then covered Jade’s mouth with a deep kiss as she rolled her hips against her over and over again. Jade used her hands to guide Lillian’s rhythm against her, bouncing against the bed, and causing the headboard to knock against the wall.
“I love you,” Jade whispered in Lillian’s ear. Heat coursed through Lillian beyond anything she’d ever felt before. “I love you,” she whispered again as Lillian rode her harder.
“I love you, Jade,” Lillian answered as the orgasm wracked her.
She screamed in pleasure riding each wave against the shaft Jade wore.
Jade squeezed her hips almost hard enough to bruise as Lillian rode out the last of the orgasm.
Finally, both soaked and panting, Lillian fell more than slid from Jade’s lap and landed in a heap on the bed.
Jade pulled off the shaft and set it on the nightstand before falling into the bed next to her. “I really do love you, Lillian,” Jade said between breaths. “I think I have for a while now.”
“I love you, too, Jade,” Lillian answered and wrapped her arms around Jade’s shoulders. “It just took me longer to figure it out.”
They stayed like that for a while, laying in each other’s arms and allowing the moment to soak in, though neither of them were ready for sleep. The rain drummed outside, and Lillian couldn’t help but wonder how many people had heard them from the outside. She chuckled lightly at the thought.
“So now what?” Jade finally asked into the darkness.
“I don’t know the answer to that,” Lillian said with a gentle laugh. “But I’m tired of running from it.”
Another long silence stretched between them, before Lillian spoke again.
“How do you think the board is going to feel about this?” Lillian asked.
“The board?” Jade said, leaning up on her elbow. “You really are serious.” Lillian could hear the smile in her voice.
“Yes, I’m serious,” Lillian scoffed. “I don’t do anything half-way. I’m sorry it’s been so complicated, but this time I mean it.”
“I believe you, and no, you certainly do not do half measures,” Jade chuckled and pulled Lillian closer, their warm bodies pressing against each other in the cool night air. “Maybe we should start with a date? Back to the basics?”
“A date?” Lillian asked, stroking Jade’s hair.
“Yes, a date, like an actual date, dinner and a movie and all that,” Jade said.
“Who has time for that?” Lillian chuckled.
“What about a moonlit walk on the beach?” Jade said, Lillian could hear the smile in her voice.
“I hope you don’t mean tonight,” Lillian responded as the sound of the rain grew heavier for a moment.
“Fine, dinner tonight at my place,” Jade said with a laugh.
“That sounds perfect,” Lillian answered and pressed her lips to Jade’s again.
They finally got up from the bed and went back into the living room to clean up the mess they had made when Lillian came crashing into the place soaking wet.
While they were otherwise occupied, the power had come back on, so Lillian piled up the soaking wet clothes and tossed them into Jade’s dryer.
Once all that was done, Jade began cooking a small dinner for the two of them. A simple salad with grilled chicken. It seemed that Jade didn’t have many more groceries in her house than Lillian kept at hers, she was pretty sure her mini-fridge in her office was better stocked than the one at home.
“So how should we handle this at work?” Lillian asked Jade as they sat down with their salads, wearing robes and looking as though they had been doing this for years.
“Handle what?” Jade asked around a mouthful of lettuce.
“Telling people, I mean, you know, going public,” Lillian answered.
“I wouldn’t worry a whole lot about it,” Jade said with a shrug. “They probably already know.”
“How’s that possible?” Lillian said, lifting her eyebrows. “Have you been talking to people about us?”
“No,” Jade said with a laugh, “well, I did mention some things to Elizabeth, but no.”
“I had a feeling she knew something,” Lillian said with a laugh. “She mentioned something that resonated with me, and it makes more sense now.”
“Oh?” Jade said with a lift of her brows.
“She said I should trust my intuition, and that sometimes when something feels right that means it is.”
“She’s a clever woman,” Jade said with a smirk.
“You would think so,” Lillian chided. “But that didn’t answer my question; I haven’t spoken to anyone, how would anyone already know about us?”
“Think about it, Lillian,” Jade said with a slight curl to her lips. “Word travels quickly in the hospital, they probably knew about us before we did.”
Lillian pressed her lips together, but she couldn’t argue. She and Jade weren’t the only ones who practically lived at the hospital, so gossip tended to move quickly. “Well, I’ll get the disclosure statement ready for the board when we get back.”
“I figured you would,” Jasmine chuckled.
“You know you have to sign it, too,” Lillian said with a little more irritation than she intended.
“I already have them drawn up,” Jade said with a smirk.
“Are you serious?” Lillian gasped.
“I couldn’t tell you if it was intuition or wishful thinking, but yeah, I did them before I left tonight,” Jade said. “I figured worst case I could shred them if you rejected me. I hoped that wasn’t the case, and I'm certainly pleasantly surprised.”
“You were that confident I would say that I wanted a relationship with you?” Lillian asked, somewhat appalled.
“No,” Jade answered honestly. “I was pretty sure you felt the same way I did, but I didn’t know if you would be willing to act on it, I just really hoped you would. Either way, all you have to do is sign them.” Jade smiled over the table at Lillian, who couldn’t help but return it.
“Do you think this is going to effect our professional relationship?” Lillian asked, averting her eyes.
“How so?” Jade responded.
“I don’t know, maybe we’ll be more able to get along?” Lillian said.
“Oh, I doubt it,” Jade chuckled again. “If anything, we will be more confident in our own decisions and fight that much harder.”
Anticipation prickled at Lillian’s skin. “That doesn’t scare you?”
“A little,” Jade answered. “But in a good way. Lillian, that’s what drew me to you in the first place.
You challenge me, almost daily, we fight not because we think the other is wrong necessarily, but because we so deeply believe in what we are doing, because we care about the outcomes.
I’m sure there’s a limit somewhere, but I can’t see us being passionate about what we do as anything other than a good thing. ”
Lillian’s chest swelled with pride. “We do run one hell of a hospital,” she said with a smile.
“That we do, and together we’ll be unstoppable,” Jade answered with a smile of her own.
