Still searching for the right words, ’s train of thought was interrupted as his hand turned red and started itching.

“Huh?” he asked aloud, watching as the redness disappeared just as quickly as it came. He shook his head and started writing out a quick message to Griff when the phone rang.

let out a long sigh, but finally answered the call. After all, he knew it was important.

“Hello, Alo,” he spoke into the phone.

“I am. I’m good,” replied . “Something big happened in Howling Timbers.”

“The woods? Is that what happened to my brother?” His friend seemed panicked. “Told me that all the Dark Moon Boys should be on high alert and report back to him if they encounter anything suspicious, including you.”

“Look, it’s my fault,” replied as he reversed out of the driveway and headed back onto the highway. “I was drawn to a human in the woods, and apparently that human has a werewolf protector.”

“ Another werewolf!? ” Alo’s tone went from confused to shocked. “You sure, man?”

“More than sure, mate,” answered . “See you in twenty.”
