He left his wife and was finally free. Shed been the worst mother hed ever seen or heard of. All she had done was threaten him and say she would get the girls, and he would be all alone if he left her. That turned out not to be true, and he was thrilled she was gone, and he had his girls with him. His stepdad had found him a nanny, but she didnt look like any nanny he had ever seen. Her name was Carlotta, and his two little girls had immediately fallen in love with her. The problem was he wasnt sure he hadnt as well.

Darren drew her in, and she didnt understand why because he wasnt even a wolf. She was a wolf with a little bit of witch thrown in and that was why she had been sent here to play nanny, but she was really intended to protect him and the girls. She was well trained and felt confident if she wasnt overwhelmed by numbers. Darren probably wouldnt be much help because he was not a fighter. One more reason why she didnt understand why she was so drawn to him since he wasnt her type at all.
