Chapter 22
CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO
JENSEN
“Hey,” I mumbled when I opened my eyes to find Lukas staring at me. He was still in the bed, which surprised me a little, and I could feel the dried cum cracking on my skin as I moved.
“Hey,” he said softly, and I nuzzled closer to get comfortable.
“You okay?” I asked, knowing he was having an internal freak-out.
“I don’t know. You?”
“I’m great,” I chuckled, kissing his neck and feeling him tense.
I had to take baby steps to avoid spooking him, but last night had been a huge step. I’d never had the urge to suck dick, I didn’t find men appealing, but Lukas?
I’d one hundred percent do that again.
He jerked back from me hard when the door cracked open, and Rory winced as she poked her head in. “Sorry, I should’ve knocked.”
“It’s okay,” I insisted as she slipped inside to shut and lock the door before moving towards us.
I could sense the panic coming from Lukas, knowing we were both covered in dried cum under this blanket, but it wasn’t like she was going to judge us.
If I wanted to know who she was sleeping with while we figured things out, then it was only fair that she knew about us.
“I don’t know how you choke on cock all the time. My jaw hurts,” I said absently, an amused look crossing her face as Lukas smacked my chest hard.
“Dude, the fuck?”
“What?” I asked innocently, pulling the blanket back for Rory. “Warning, there’s dried cum all over us.”
“Dude!” Lukas growled, but he didn’t leave. He was waiting to see how Rory would react.
“No shit? Me too, probably,” she grinned, shuffling in beside me to get comfortable. “Are you going to spill the tea? I’ll tell you mine if you tell me yours.”
“What did you get up to?” I asked curiously, her fingers brushing my abs and pausing on the dried cum.
“Got bent in a bunch of positions like a pretzel. I lost count of my orgasms after the fourth one,” she shrugged. “Skeet snuck into Ty’s bed at some point too. No idea when. He didn’t wake me up.”
“Skeet’s here?” Lukas bit out, and I sighed as he sprang from the bed and raced into the bathroom, slamming the door shut behind him.
“He’s extra jumpy this morning. What the hell did you do to him?” she asked, kissing my cheek.
“I don’t know what he’s so worried about. I was the one with a dick in my mouth, not him,” I grunted, rolling over to face her. “It was just kissing, then it went a little further with touching. It felt really good.”
She smiled, eyeing me curiously. “You’re really open about this, aren’t you?”
“I don’t care what people think. I’m just seeing what I like,” I shrugged, glancing up as the door opened and Josie poked her head in.
I made sure to keep the blanket over me, not particularly wanting her to see the cum, but her eyes flicked between Rory and I for a second before she spoke.
“I’d like you to all meet me in the living room. Family meeting.”
“Can I shower first?” I asked, and she nodded.
“You’ve got twenty minutes.”
She walked off, most likely to tell the others, and Rory grumbled when I sat up properly.
“Can’t we just stay in bed?”
“Nope. C’mon, come shower with us,” I grinned, wanting to get her naked for five seconds before Josie most likely scolded us for something and sent us home for the day.
Lukas was standing under the hot spray when we entered the bathroom, his face down as the water rained over him.
I nudged Rory to let her join him first, knowing she’d be a better fit for comfort right now, mentally reminding my cock that we didn’t have time to mess around.
“Gotta be fast. Josie’s called a family meeting,” I said dryly when Lukas pulled Rory close and grabbed a handful of her ass.
Tension lined his features, and he sighed. “About what?”
“Not sure. It’s either about the shit at school yesterday, or something else,” I shrugged, climbing in with them.
At first, I thought he was going to bail, but he stayed until all three of us were clean and ready to get out.
We all got dried and dressed, wandering downstairs to find Caden and Tyler already sitting on the couch, Skeeter lounging back in one of the recliners with an impatient look on his face.
“I thought it was a family meeting,” Lukas muttered, making Skeeter scoff.
“Me too, but Josie told me to stay.”
“And you just did as you were told?”
“Of course. Who knows what dirt I can get on you fuckers at a family meeting,” he joked, taking Rory’s hand and tugging her onto his lap.
Lukas dropped down beside Tyler, so I took that as a hint that he wanted space. I sat in the other recliner, just as Josie appeared.
“Oh, good. You’re all here,” she said with surprise, sitting on the empty couch and clasping her hands together on her thighs, her eyes going straight to Rory. “Please don’t take this as me prying, I just need to know about things happening under my roof.”
“Is this a safe sex talk?” Caden asked dryly, and she cringed.
“Look, I was under the impression that Rory was seeing Lukas, but it’s obvious Skeeter is still hanging around, and people talk. So, this isn’t a scolding, this is an information exchange.”
“You want to know who she’s fucking?” Skeeter chuckled, his tongue toying with one of his lip rings.
She scrunched her nose at that, but nodded. “Honestly? Yes. You’re all adults, but I need you to be safe. I’ve been blindsided by a few questions recently, and I’d love to have the facts so I know how to handle it.”
“Why?” Rory asked flatly, her fight or flight starting to kick in.
“You need to understand that people watch our every move. The Holloways, Johnsons, Gilberts, and James’ families are some of the richest in the country, so people get nosey. I also need to know that whatever you’re doing is smart. Are you using protection?”
“No,” Skeeter grinned, doing his best to make Josie uncomfortable. “Ruins the experience.”
“Would you shut the fuck up?” Rory hissed, her cheeks flushing. “I’m on the pill.”
“The pill won’t protect you from STDs, and it’s obvious this isn’t exclusive,” Josie replied, waving her hand in the air to indicate to all of us.
“I’m not sleeping with anyone else,” Caden answered, her eyes narrowing.
“You know better than to not use condoms.”
“I always did, but—”
“You guys know taking the pill has to be consistent, right? I know this is a sensitive subject, but I highly doubt when Tristan took her that he was giving her the pill. She’d missed days of taking it, which means it’s not effective.
I want all of you to get tested, and I’d like it if you found something better as birth control, Rory.
Is this a relationship? Help me understand. ”
“No,” I said before Rory could freak out too much, Josie’s attention coming to me. “We’re just seeing what works. A lot happened and we destroyed her trust, so this is just us trying to figure things out together. I’m happy to get tested.”
Josie’s eyes moved around the room to the others, who all nodded their agreement, and Rory cringed. “The pill is one of the only things that works for me.”
“Have you tried the shot?”
“No.”
From what I’d heard, birth control was expensive. She probably hadn’t tried a bunch of different things due to her finances.
“Can you maybe try that one? I’ll pay for it,” Josie encouraged, and I could tell this whole conversation was making Rory highly uncomfortable.
Lukas leaned forward, holding her gaze. “Hey, if you don’t want to, I’m happy to use condoms.”
“You’ll only tear them with your accessories,” Skeeter deadpanned, pointing at each of us individually.
“All of us are sleeping with Aurora. I get regular health checks, so I know I’m clean.
As much as it’s nice of you to give a shit about Rory, I’m a grown man and not one of your kids, Josie.
What I do with her is really none of your business. ”
“Until you knock her up and can’t afford to raise your kid. What happens in that situation? You wait for a DNA test and whoever the kid’s father is—” Josie didn’t get to finish.
“Fuck you,” Skeeter snorted, lifting Rory from his lap and placing her in the seat as he stood, apparently done with the conversation.
“Hey,” Caden bit out, but Skeeter glared at him.
“I don’t give a shit if I upset your fucking mom, Holloway. She wants my respect? Then she has to earn it. Making assumptions about me is the wrong way to go about it.”
“Skeeter—” Josie started, but he cut her off again.
“I’m leaving. I have street rat shit to do. It was a mistake to stay for this bullshit,” he snapped before stalking from the room, the front door slamming not long after.
“I’m trying to help all of you,” Josie sighed, but Rory shook her head and stood.
“I know in your world money fixes everything, but talking to us about kids and basically saying Skeeter couldn’t handle his shit is wrong.”
“You barely know that boy. I just want you all to see how serious this situation is. I’m not telling you what to do, but being careful is important. Of course I’d help you if you needed it, but babies are expensive, honey. I don’t want you in that position until you’re ready.”
“Stop panicking. I’m not having fucking kids. If I was though? I wouldn’t be using your money to do it. Don’t insult me,” she huffed, shaking Caden off as she walked past and he reached for her.
Josie blew out a breath as we heard Rory stomp upstairs, Josie’s voice quiet. “I’m worried about all of you. This situation is like roulette.”
“I’ll talk to her,” Caden offered and went to stand to follow Rory, but I stood before he could.
“No offense, but you’ll make it worse. It’s also your mom, so of course you’d defend her. I’ll go and talk to her.”
“Why would you not make it worse too?” he demanded, and Lukas winced.
“Because you’re hot-headed. She’ll get defensive and you’ll snap at her like you always do. Let Jense handle it.”
Caden looked like he wanted to argue, but he scowled and waved a hand in the direction that Rory had gone. “Go then.”
I headed straight up to Rory’s bedroom, knocking and waiting for her to let me in. “Rory? Just me.”
