Chapter 22 #2
She flung the door open, an irritated look on her face. “Why the fuck—”
“Josie means well, and this is what it’s like to have a parent who loves you,” I said before she could start ranting too much. “Can I come in?”
She seemed to consider slamming the door in my face for a moment before stepping aside to let me in.
“Skeet’s going to hate me now. How embarrassing,” she muttered, making me snort with amusement.
“If that scares him off, he needs to hand his jacket in.”
“No guy wants the baby talk,” she hissed, shutting the door and crossing her arms.
“I don’t think it’s the baby talk he gave a shit about,” I answered, dropping onto her bed to get comfortable.
“Look, you’re not used to having a parent worry.
If you were my kid, I’d be worried too. I mean, you’re sleeping with multiple guys, Rory.
There’s no shame in that, but I don’t blame her for wanting us to be careful.
I think it’s smart if we all get STD checks so we know we’re good, and maybe if we’re all not using condoms, birth control is a topic we really should discuss.
We won’t tell you what to do, it’s your body, but there’s a risk without condoms.”
“I used to think people were stupid for not using protection. Now look at me,” she mumbled, her posture relaxing slightly as she dropped her arms by her sides and walked towards me.
“Luke is right, you know? We can wear condoms.”
“I like having nothing between us. Why’d they send you up here, anyway? You’re not even sleeping with me,” she said with a wince, and I reached out to take her hand, tugging her down onto the bed beside me.
“We’ve still messed around. We should’ve all had a proper discussion before sleeping with you anyway,” I replied, nuzzling into her neck and just breathing her in.
I never thought I’d be the type to sniff a girl’s hair and get hard, but everything about her made me fucking hard.
“Do you want to use a condom?” she asked, making me groan.
“Absolutely not, but I will if it’s what you want.”
“You’re okay with me sleeping with the others?”
“I’d like to keep you all to myself, but I’m not mad about them either. I’d love to watch you with them one night. Seeing them all take turns and claiming you like that? I bet it would be fucking hot,” I grinned, nibbling her earlobe.
She tilted her head to give me better access, her hand slipping under my shirt to trail over my abs.
I wanted to strip her naked and feast on her, taking my time before sliding inside, but there was no way Josie wouldn’t come and check on us at some point.
“Spend the day with me,” I murmured, kissing across her skin and making her shiver.
“You want to go somewhere?” she managed to breathe out as her hand wandered to my chest.
“My place. I want you for breakfast.”
“What a coincidence, I wanted orgasms for breakfast,” she laughed quietly, and I couldn’t help myself as I grabbed her jaw gently in my hand and tilted her face up to mine so I could kiss her.
She opened for me, the kiss slow but insanely erotic, and I knew if we kept this up that I’d tear her damn clothes off and get us both in trouble.
Her leg lifted over my hip, and I groaned as she rubbed against me, her kisses turning harder.
“We have to stop,” I said, hating myself in the process.
A sound of protest left her but she pulled back, giving me a dirty look. “Why?”
“Josie. We’ll continue this at mine.”
“Just you and me?” she asked almost nervously, and as much as I would have loved for Lukas to join us, I wanted her alone for our first time.
“Yeah, baby. Just you and me,” I smiled, giving her a quick kiss on the lips before pulling back. “C’mon, find some shoes and we’ll go. I’ll feed you too.”
I left her to get ready while I headed downstairs, almost getting bowled over by Caden in the kitchen.
“Is she okay?”
“She’s fine. I’m taking her out for the day,” I said firmly, giving him a knowing look. “And I’d like you to give us some time alone.”
“Seriously?” he grumbled, crossing his arms.
“Yeah, bro. Seriously. I’ll bring her back later,” I promised, turning when I heard footsteps coming down the stairs.
Thankfully, Rory seemed to have calmed down, giving Caden a quick kiss. “I’m heading out with Jensen.”
His arm circled her waist to keep her close, his voice low. “Mom didn’t mean—”
“I know,” she cut in, leaning into him. “But I’m done talking about it.”
Tyler snatched her and gave her a dramatic kiss, dipping her back and making her laugh, and Lukas gave her a soft kiss on the forehead and told her to call if she needed him.
He gave me a nod, understanding that he wasn’t coming with us, and I happily led Rory outside to my Camaro to spend some alone time with my girl.
Rory
“I’ll be fast,” Jensen promised as we pulled into the gas station, amusement filling me.
“We have all day.”
“Until someone comes and tries to steal you,” he grumbled, parking beside the pump and climbing out. “You want something to eat or drink?”
“Red Bull.”
“On it.”
He headed inside and I took the time to check my phone, my head snapping up at the sound of motorcycles approaching.
I groaned when I recognized Hunter and Marco’s among a few others, Marco instantly flipping his visor up to get a better look at me before he nudged Hunter as they stopped at the pump opposite ours.
“Well, if it isn’t Aurora Donovan,” Hunter grinned as he pulled his helmet off, climbing off his bike and moving towards the Camaro. “We just keep bumping into each other, don’t we?”
“I’m really starting to think you’re stalking me,” I deadpanned, climbing out of the car to avoid being trapped inside if he did something weird.
He was relaxed when he was alone or with Marco, but he had tension around his crew, and I could almost guarantee that they had zero idea of his little chats with me.
“If I was stalking you, you’d know about it, babe,” he chuckled, raking his fingers through his hair as he inspected me. “Then again, maybe I should? Did you get hotter since I saw you last?”
“Does that bullshit actually work on girls?”
He stepped closer, my breath catching as he rested a hand on Jensen’s roof and leaned down, his voice low and dangerous. “I don’t know. Does it? I bet if I put my hand down your pants, I’d have an answer. Should we place bets on how wet you are right now?”
I gave him a shove, amusement lining his face as I jabbed a finger against his chest.
“Don’t bring your shit here, asshole. You know someone will see you and tell the Psychos.”
“Oh, no. Whatever shall I do then?” he mocked, motioning to his bike. “It’s not like I can throw you in the trunk. Relax.”
“I’m happy to hog-tie her to the back of mine,” Marco chuckled, and I rolled my eyes.
“You’re not even going to try and drug me this time?”
“I’d rather the rope, and I bet you would too,” he smirked, his eyes flicking towards the building. “Rich boy, three o’clock.”
“Maybe I should tell your little boyfriend about our secret meet ups, hmm?” Hunter whispered, laughing as I punched him in the stomach hard. He might not have acted like it, but I’d winded him a little, I could hear it in his voice. “Rough is just how I like it, Hot Shot. You’re turning me on.”
“Stay the fuck away from me,” I hissed, just as Jensen approached.
“What the hell is going on?” Jensen demanded, moving between me and Hunter to protect me.
“Calm down, we were just talking. Right, Donovan?” Hunter murmured, dropping his gaze down my body as I stepped out from behind Jensen. “Besides, I think the little spitfire can handle herself.”
“Leave her alone,” Jensen replied, glaring at me when he tried to block Hunter’s view of me, but I moved out of the way again. “Dammit, Rory—”
“He’s right, I can handle him. I have my knife on me,” I said cheerfully, making Marco snort.
“Watch it, bro. Take it from someone who’s been stabbed by a hellcat before, it’s not pleasant.”
“I should buy that girl a drink,” I deadpanned, a taunting smile tugging at his mouth.
“You should. Bet you two would be besties.”
“I’m calling Skeet,” Jensen said as he pulled his phone out, and Hunter rolled his eyes and took a step back.
“No need for gunfire, man. I was just asking your girl how Skeet is. He’s a hard man to track down these days.”
“Too busy buried in pussy,” Marco added, licking his lips. “Not that I blame him.”
Jensen went to press the call button, and I snatched his phone.
“Do you really want the Psychos coming down here?” I asked, frustration on his face.
“Um, yes. These fuckers—”
“Aren’t going to do shit,” I scoffed, freaking Jensen out more as I jabbed Hunter in the chest with my finger again. “Right, Hunter? You’re just gassing up and fucking off again.”
“I was hoping you’d come back to my place so we could hate-fuck a little,” he joked, tilting his head. “Not that you’d hate it. Rain check?”
“Sounds like a plan. I’ll see you never,” I threw back, an amused smile taking over his face before he reached for the door handle and opened it for me.
“Trust me. I’ll be seeing you.”
I flipped him off and slid into the car, the door closing behind me. He gave me a wink before strolling back to his bike, and Jensen didn’t waste time as he pumped his gas as fast as possible before climbing behind the wheel and locking the doors, starting the engine.
Hunter wolf-whistled and waved, and I flipped him off again, making the fucker laugh.
Jensen didn’t speak until we were on the road, his foot on the gas a little harder than necessary.
“How long have they been bothering you?”
“They don’t bother me. They showed up at the Shed once, that’s all,” I lied, his eyes narrowing.
“You guys seemed to know each other more than that.”
“How do you figure that? He taunted me and I shoved him a little. I’m not letting Skeet step in all the time, I can handle Hunter. He’s not out to hurt me, he just wants to piss off Skeet. He knows Skeet is likely to hear about it.”
“He is because you’re going to fucking tell him.”
“Am not.”
