Chapter 22

CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO

Foster

The next couple of days dragged on. Aspen was passed between us as she had been before all of this happened, except this time, she wasn’t allowed any clothes. After she left my room, she stayed with Collin, then she was placed with Myles, and tonight she’d be with Hunter. Collin wasn’t in any better of a condition, which led to him going back to the hospital last night. As expected, his ribs had been rebroken. Now, he was tucked away in his room until he was able to walk on his own again without feeling like dying.

My life was a fucking shit show. I just needed to maintain good grades, keep going to class as much as possible, and then get the fuck out of here. With everything happening, college has been the last thing on my mind, but I knew I needed to go. My chest tightened as my mind drifted to the guys. What about them ? I knew Collin planned on going to college, but Myles didn’t seem like he could care less about furthering his education. Before Hunter started doing drugs again, he was hellbent on going too, but I wasn’t sure if that had changed.

I groaned, leaning my head against the headboard. We all needed to have a serious discussion. Graduation wasn’t far away now, and I preferred to be prepared. My hands ripped through my hair with frustration as my boner sent a warning to my balls making them ache.

I gripped my hard-on through my sweats, my frustration deepening. Mike’s words echoed around my skull causing my teeth to grind together.

He’s dead.

You aren’t like him.

You get to choose who touches you now.

Despite knowing the reality of the situation, I still relived these nightmares constantly. While I didn’t have them so much at night anymore, they came in the form of flashbacks—as reminders. He was dead, but he was still all around me. Mike was the reason I couldn’t be touched. He was the reason I was a monster. He was the reason my mom turned into a shell of the woman she once was. I’d never gotten her back. He stole her spirit, changed her until she was a fucking mindless whore, and then left her to rot without a care in the world.

I hated her for what she allowed him to do to me. I hated her for what she became. I hated her for leaving me with him. Even though she was dead, I fucking hated her.

Pushing my parents to the back of my mind, I focused on the issue at hand. My throbbing cock. It’s been a while since I touched myself last and man was I feeling the repercussions of that.

Hooking my fingers in my waistband, I pulled my pants down my legs along with my underwear and left them around my ankles. Fisting myself in my hand, I started stroking up and down. My breathing labored instantly from the sensation, but then I saw her .

Aspen’s green eyes stared back at me in my imagination, making bile rise to the back of my throat. This made me feel like a sick fuck. This went against everything I’d always believed in. But no one would know.

My teeth sunk into my lower lip as I remembered what it felt like to put my fingers inside her. How her juices drenched my hand, making me almost lose my shit completely. It wasn’t easy. Not with everything I’d gone through as a kid, but the guys were with me, and knowing that somehow grounded me. I remember the way her pulse thrummed beneath my hand as I finger-fucked her, making her cry out. I started stroking myself harder from the memory, my abdomen already tightening with excitement.

If her pussy could squeeze my fingers that tightly, imagine what it would do my dick. A groan rippled from my throat at the mere thought of her on top of me. I hated her, but fuck she was sexy. In another world, I’d give in to her. In another world, she would slide up and down my cock giving me exactly what I craved—what we both craved. The feeling inside my stomach intensified until my balls were tightening up, giving me one last warning. Her fingers would bite into my shoulders as she circled her hips on top of me, milking me for all I was worth. Her skin would be flushed just like it always was when we took from her. She’d moan my fucking name, and that would be my undoing. Just like it was now. Spurts of white liquid shot out of me, drenching my thighs and abdomen.

“Fuck,” I groaned. But then reality came crashing down all around me. “Fuck!”

The cafeteria was jam-packed today with noise flooding the building. It was just me and Hunter at lunch since Myles was still with Aspen until later, and Collin was in bed. My mind was still spinning from what I’d done earlier mere hours before lunch had rolled around. I needed to get on some medication or something. This couldn’t be normal.

“You good, man?” Hunter asked from beside me. “You’ve been glaring at your food for the last ten minutes.”

“Never better,” I replied bitterly.

Usually when I jerked off, I did it to the mere sensation of it. I never thought about a girl when it happened. This was a first for me, and I wasn’t sure how to feel about it.

It was the hardest you ever came, though.

My molars ground together at that revelation. Now, Myles had her walking around naked. How the hell was I supposed to concentrate with her like that?

Sighing, I returned my attention to the lasagna on my tray and scooped up my fork. Hunter watched me with skeptical, brown eyes as I cut off a piece and shoved it in my mouth, chewing aggressively.

“I need to get fucked up,” I grumbled. Maybe then, my mind wouldn’t torment me as much.

A smirk twisted the corners of Hunter’s mouth and his eyes flashed with excitement. “I can arrange that.” He took a swig of his Gatorade before screwing the cap back on and placing it down on the table. “How fucked up you trying to be?”

“So fucked up that I can’t think straight.”

“Fuck yeah. We have a meeting with Jessica and her bitches and then we can party.”

My eyes rolled of their own accord. I hated that I’d been roped into this party planning bullshit with those fucking snobby bitches. I’d rather gauge out my own eyes than be stuck with them for hours on end.

Blowing out a breath, I swiped a hand through my hair in frustration. “Fine,” I agreed. “Do you still have access to that old cabin we all went to a couple years ago?” Hunter bought a cabin our sophomore year where we all partied and hung out, just the four of us. It was a one-time thing because we were all so busy and Collin was taking his academics a lot more seriously back then and never wanted to leave campus.

A smile stretched across his face. “Yeah. I’ve actually been planning on going there soon, just to get away and clear my head.” The cabin only had three bedrooms, but it was nice. There was a hot tub and even a pool out back.

“Good. We leave tonight.”

Our meeting with the bitches wasn’t too bad. We met up, leaving Aspen with Collin, and went over a theme for the party as well as what games and food items we’d be supplying. The girls ended up deciding on a winter princess theme, much to our dismay, and even decided on what snacks there would be. At this point, I wasn’t even sure what they needed us for.

Afterwards, Hunter retrieved Aspen from Collin’s room and gave her a shirt to wear at my request. I couldn’t exactly have her going out in public with no clothes on. Once Hunter was done retrieving the drugs and alcohol, which he probably had stashed in his bedroom, he helped Aspen into his car and climbed in beside her.

I tossed my bag into the back of my truck and climbed in with Collin sliding in on the passenger side. I wasn’t about to let him drive himself when he still needed help getting around. Maybe this mini getaway would be good for him.

“You good?” I asked, turning to face him.

He winced but nodded. “I’ll be fine. It doesn’t hurt as bad as it did yesterday. Thanks to the pain pills the doctor prescribed.”

I had half a mind to backhand Aspen for that little stunt. She knew he’d fucked up his ribs and went straight for them. Little cunt. Collin was the last person who deserved her wrath. He didn’t want any of this and tried to talk us out of it at every turn.

I switched gears and whipped out of the parking lot after starting my vehicle. It wasn’t a long drive to the cabin. It was about an hour from here and happened to be in the middle of nowhere. We had to stop somewhere first, though.

The long road stretched for miles as we traveled. Collin had drifted off to sleep shortly after we left campus, which was fine by me. I wasn’t much of a talker anyways and he liked to ramble. The trees zipped past us in a blur, and it stayed that way until we reached a small grocery store on the edge of town. Pulling into the lot, I parked near the front. Since we were so far away from civilization, there weren’t many people here if the three other cars aside from mine was any indication.

I grabbed my keys, stepped out of the truck, and locked it with my friend still inside. The gravel crunched beneath my shoes as I made my way to the entrance and slipped through the double doors. My gaze raked around the building, noting the assortment of aisles and sections that the store possessed. It was surprising given how small this place was—you wouldn’t think they received a lot of business being out in the middle of nowhere and whatnot.

I grabbed a cart and made my way down the snack aisle. I grabbed some chips, dip, donuts, and cookies before moving onto the main food we’d be needing. Such as eggs, bacon, hamburger meat, buns, condiments, and things of that nature. Lastly, I grabbed a few two-liters and a few boxes of canned soda, throwing them in the cart with the rest.

After ringing everything up, I put the groceries in the backseat before hopping back in my truck and starting the engine again. Light snores escaped Collin as he rested his head against the window, making a small smile tug at my lips. At least he’d be well rested for tonight.

I checked my phone for the directions Hunter was supposed to send and then put them in my maps, allowing the automated voice to guide me as I navigated the road once more.

My mind raced as I drove, reminding me of the shitstorm my life has become. Before the purple-haired bitch stumbled into our lives, I was enjoying the academy. Torturing her had been fun until it went too far, and that seemed to tear our group apart for a while. Collin had been devastated and truth be told, we were all battling with it in some way or another. Now that she was back, everything revolved around her again . Someone constantly needed to babysit her, Myles was back on his obsessive bullshit, and Collin was all love-struck. The only normal ones were me and Hunter.

My hands tightened around the steering wheel as I took a left, driving down a secluded road with nothing but trees and cement. The fact that she even had to go with us annoyed the fuck out of me, but I wasn’t put-out enough by it to stay back on campus.

Finally, I made it to the cabin. Nothing but trees surrounded the area, making it the perfect spot to party and be unbothered. Not that there was anyone to bother us all the way out here anyways. By looking at it, it just looked like a simple two-story cabin, but I’ve been inside of it and the exterior has nothing on the inside.

Pulling up behind Myles’ motorcycle, I turned the car off and gently nudged Collin who barely even stirred.

“Come on,” I said, shaking him again. “We’re here.”

His eyes fluttered open, confusion twisting his features for a moment until the fog in his head disintegrated. Carefully, he sat up, groaning in pain as he did, and peered through the windshield. His hands worked through his light, brown hair as he attempted to smooth it out.

“I slept the entire way?” he rasped, the sleep still clinging to his voice.

“Yep.” I propped open my door after snatching the keys and climbed out, rounding the vehicle until I was on his side. I opened the door and offered him a hand.

Reluctantly, his palm slid against mine and he allowed me to lead him out of the truck. One arm was wound around his ribs as his feet hit the ground and a wince rippled across his face from the pain. Maybe we should have waited to do this until he was in a better condition, but it was a last minute plan.

“Do you need help inside?” I pressed, drawing my lips into a tight line as he trudged toward the building.

“Nope.”

Stubborn asshole. I rolled my eyes and let out a sigh. “Send one of the guys out to help with these damn groceries.”

He grunted in response. I moved to the backseat and started grabbing bags until I physically couldn’t hold any more, and then I made my way into the cabin. The lights were already on, and Aspen was seated, naked once again, on the brown, leather sofa. Her arms were folded over her chest, and I could tell by her expression that she was pissed.

Making my way into the kitchen, I sat the bags on the floor and started rummaging through them. I put everything away in their designated places. Just as I was finishing up with this load, Hunter and Myles entered, carrying bags of their own.

“This is it,” Hunter said, placing them on the wooden floor.

While they got to work putting up the rest of the groceries, I scooped up all the empty bags and tossed them beneath the sink. You never knew when they would come in handy. Hell, maybe I’d use one to suffocate Aspen if the urge arose.

When I went back into the living area, Collin was already seated beside Aspen, making sure to keep at least a foot of space between them. I flopped down into the armchair that was positioned toward them on the opposite side of the coffee table and crossed one leg over the other.

“I need clothes,” Aspen snapped, her gaze directed at me. “Do you really want my ass sweat all over the leather?”

“If it were up to me, you’d have clothes,” I shot back. “Take it up with Myles.” The last thing I wanted was her walking around naked. It was fucking with my head. Collin’s too from the looks of it. As hard as he was trying not to look at her, his eyeballs kept straying like she was a damn magnet.

The girl in question released a frustrated huff. “When I get my period, you’ll all be sorry.” She narrowed her eyes at me in warning. “I can’t wait to mess up those pretty sheets of yours.”

Before I could respond, Myles released a dark chuckle as he entered the room. Leaning over the back of the sofa, his breath fanned along her naked shoulder, making her tense.

“I look forward to it,” he taunted with a sadistic glint in his eye.

Crazy motherfucker.

He would enjoy something like that too. When it came to blood, Myles didn’t discriminate. The thought had my lip curling in disgust. If she was still naked when she got her period, Myles was on strict Aspen duty until that shit was over.

Hunter entered the room moments later, handing each of us a cold beer. I took mine gratefully and popped the cap off before taking a long drink, reveling in the bitter taste.

“We’ll get into the harder shit after dinner.” He smirked, plopping down between Collin and Aspen, not being as opposed to her nakedness as me and Collin were.

“You assholes took all the seats,” Myles grumbled, rounding the couch. I watched with interest as he pulled Aspen from her spot and stole it making her stomp like a child. It would have been funny if it didn’t make her ass bounce from the action, drawing my gaze right to it. Myles released a laugh and pulled her down onto his lap which made her tense.

When she finally accepted defeat, she leaned back into him and took a long drink of her beer. His hand was wrapped around her waist, his fingertips gently brushing along her thigh while he used his other hand to hold his beverage.

This was going to be a long fucking weekend.
