Chapter 29 #2

Theo rolls it down his length with shaky hands. “Maj,” he comforts me as I whine when I pull out. “I’m here.”

He penetrates my entrance and pushes in achingly slow. A hand on my hip prevents me from bucking up to impale myself on him. He’s larger than my toys, but I can take more. He’s being caring and cautious. There’s a stinging burn, but it should go away soon.

With Theo, I’m the reckless one, as if I’ve had a personality transplant—a fuck now and talk later mentality. With each thrust, he sinks deeper, but I need… “More,” I bark out.

“Your hot ass is squeezing me so good. Behave.” He nips my neck. “It’s not a race to the finish line. I’m hoping for a marathon.” Theo circles his hips, crushing my cock between us.

Unintelligible sounds leave my mouth.

It’s too good.

Too much.

Not enough.

“You like that? That feels unreal, as if I’m capable of anything and everything.” Theo kisses me, but our movements make it difficult. He sucks my bottom lip, and the skin stays connected to his mouth as if my lip can’t bear to be separated from him. I’m fully into that plan.

I palm his plump ass to change the angle, and he hits my prostate. My muscles flutter around him, trapping him in me.

“Fuck.” Theo’s eyes roll back as he bottoms out. I’m fuller than I’ve ever been, stretched around his big cock.

He’s all muscle and power under my fingers. His goddamn hockey ass drills me as his hips expertly swivel.

I lift my legs to his shoulders, putting myself at his mercy. There’s no way for me to control anything in this position, and I crave it from him, telling him without words how much I trust him.

We work up a sweat, and I lick the droplets from the side of his neck that have run down from his hair. Now I understand Nevaeh’s monster porn, where the creatures can fill your mouth and hole with appendages.

As if he can read my mind, he sticks his fingers in my mouth to suck. They press on my tongue, and he increases his pace. Our bodies smash together, making dirty, sexy, sweet sounds. Sounds I’ll never forget.

There’s a light birthmark next to his right eye. I’ve never noticed it before, but now, staring into his eyes, I can’t miss it. Another small part of Theo that only I get.

“I’m close.” His eyes squeeze closed like it will help him hold off. When they open, there’s a desperation to them I need to soothe.

Theo thrusts harder and faster, chasing his release, but there’s fear in his eyes that he won’t get what he needs. I wrap my hand around his throat without any pressure, but it’s the magic button. He convulses as his orgasm rips him apart.

He groans my name as he comes. Theo is probably the most handsome man I’ve ever seen. If he didn’t have hockey, he’d be in front of a camera. But the face he makes as he comes, with round, incredulous emerald eyes and pure bliss, melts every single brain cell I have. He’s otherworldly.

Watching him tips me over the edge, and I see stars as my body shatters beneath him, exploding with pleasure I didn’t know was possible. My hand flexes on his throat, and his cock twitches. I’m a live wire and boneless at the same time.

Sex is so much more than I expected. Being inside Theo was life-changing, but this is even more so. The physical connection is phenomenal, but the ability to trust each other means everything.

I’m obviously falling for him with no safety net or backup plan.

“That was…” He rests his forehead on mine at a loss for words.

I’m on a giddy high and belt out Tina Turner. “‘Simply the best. Better than all the rest. Better than anyone.’”

“Is that a song?” Theo pumps his half-hard dick in and out of me.

“Nope, I made the tune up just for you.” I laugh.

“Liar. Giggle for me again.” He untangles my legs from his shoulders to lie on me.

I chase his smile to kiss it when there’s a pounding on his door.

“Keefer, you coming to dinner?” Mav yells.

“No,” Theo hollers back, and kisses me again.

“You seen King?”

Theo closes his eyes. “Nope.”

“Later.”

Theo buries his face in my shoulder and vibrates with silent laughter.

“Good thing you didn’t lie.” I hook my legs around his knees to keep him in place.

“That’s why I closed my eyes. It’s against code to lie to a teammate.”

Our hearts beat wildly within our chests but sync together and slow as we lie there. Theo places a kiss on my shoulder, his lips lingering tenderly. The care he treats me with cracks my heart wide open.

Theo has never known love like I have. He’s had strings and conditions attached to it, and it’s hardened him.

It strikes me as unbelievably brave to even consider being with me.

People will have negative things to say.

That’s an understatement. We’ll get regular homophobic hate, and on top of that, there will be disgust for being related and a mixed-race couple.

If my parents hadn’t given me love and strength, I wouldn’t have the courage to think about being with Theo, let alone act on it. His asshole behavior prevents him from getting close to people so he doesn’t feel their rejection.

I want to swaddle his heart in bubble wrap and fight off anyone who would hurt him. Theo’s life is lonely except for Sarah.

I won’t let his family destroy his brave soul. Never again will someone make him feel worthless.

“Will you promise me something?” I ask, hoping to pin him down while he’s sex drunk.

“Anything.”

“Stay with me until you find a place of your own.”
