Love Rose

PS- This chapter is very short. Forgive me?

Any desire for sleep in either one of us had disappeared, replaced instead with a burning desire for something else.

Zac had climbed on top, one arm holding my chin, deepening the kiss, the other injured arm around my waist, holding me up against his hard chest, making me completely lose my mind.

The fact that this was my first ever kiss was the last thought in my mind, I was too busy enjoying this feeling of passion between us.

We broke apart, the need for air too much to ignore, both panting like wild dogs, lips red and swollen. But Zac didn't stop, his hot lips attacked my neck and the moment his lips attached to the mark my body arched up in instant desire. I screamed as his mouth moved around the sensitive skin, tugging at the skin with his teeth- oh my god this was too much.

My fingers tangled in his thick dark hair, pulling it tightly when his tongue licked over the mark, making me shudder in lust. I didn't know how to react, I had never felt these feelings before.

Suddenly his mouth moved away, trailing lower, first stopping to kiss my collarbone and then moments later moving further down, leaving a hot burning trail as he moved.

"Zac..." I moaned my eyes wide.

He stopped and stared up at through his long eyelashes. "Don't worry," he whispered, his voice thick with need, "I'm not going to do anything you don't want me to."

I closed my eyes, my chest rising and falling like tides in a storm.

That's exactly the problem, I think, I'm not sure I know what I want anymore.

I felt his fingers push up my shirt, my skin now exposed to his burning gaze. Before I could feel shy under his dark eyes, his lips met my skin again

and he moved around leaving hot kisses across my stomach. My fingers had left his hair trailing down to his shoulders, digging in. I wasn't sure whether I was pushing his away or keeping him in place. I was too lost in this indescribable pleasure I was receiving.

His lips suddenly stopped abruptly and I groaned as the warmth from his lips left my skin.

"Eve?" His voice was husky but I could sense the serious undertone.

My eyes opened and I glanced down at Zac who was tracing a section of my skin with his thumb.

"What's this?"

I followed his gaze.

"Oh that?" I smile, not sure why Zac was so serious, "that's my birthmark."

I look at the mark on stomach and then back up to Zac who was still tracing the mark with a scowl on his face.

"This isn't a birthmark Eve." he states, his eyes still fixed on the mark.

I raise an eyebrow. Sure the mark on my stomach didn't look like a usual birthmark, it was almost a scar, consisting of a circle with straight vertical line going down the circle and two similar lines straight lines going through it horizontally, but it was something that had been on my body since I was born.

"I've had it since I was a baby." I tell Zac whose dark eyes move up to meet mine. I can see the doubt in those dark pools.

"Has anyone else seen this?" He asks and I nod my head.

"Yeah my parents have seen it and Dr Kahled has seen it as well. He's the one that said it was a birthmark."

I was starting to get worried now. All the previous passion and heat had been forgotten, instead I could see in the stress etched into Zac's face and all because of a birthmark on my skin. It was clearly important so I decided to add something else.

"I have another one." I say, moving away from him so I could lift my top up higher. There was another mark I had since I was a baby and it was on the left side of my ribs.

"Over here-" I start to say, running my fingers over the skin but I couldn't feel the raised skin where the birthmark was.

"Hold on," I said running my fingers further across my skin, I swear it was somewhere here.

"There's nothing there." Zac says finally when he look over the skin.

That's impossible.

"No I swear Zac I had another mark, it was similar to the one on my tummy but slightly different." I say, my mind distracted, my fingers still searching my skin.

It had been mark of me my whole life, how could it have suddenly disappeared?

I crawl out of bed and go to the mirror in Zac's bathroom, turning the light so I could see more clearly. I lift my top high and turn my body to the side so I can look for myself.

Zac was right- there was no mark where is used to be.

I turn to Zac with wide eyes as he approached me. "I don't know where it's gone." I whisper pathetically.

Zac reaches out to me, caution in his eyes. I had a strange feeling that whatever he was about to say was going to shake my world up forever.

"Eve," he says quietly, " I don't think those are birthmarks on you."

I don't move.

"I think they are spells."
