Chapter 55

Chapter fifty-five

Rosa had spent all of Monday ignoring the flirtatious messages from Billy. Though she could admit she was enjoying them, she had work to do, and that took her focus for the most part.

As the hours wore down, however, she began to think a little more about Billy’s suggestions, and her body began to react. Heat built, her clit throbbing with the anticipation of spending a few hours between the sheets—or anywhere else Billy Fisk enticed her to get naked and frolic.

She was home by four, dinner cooking in the oven, Imogen upstairs getting changed out of her uniform, ready to go for her music lessons.

The doorbell rang.

“Hey, just thought I’d pop round, see how things are going.” Tanya grinned as she waltzed past Rosa and into the kitchen.

“Things are developing,” Rosa said, closing the kitchen door.

“I want all the details.” Tanya laughed and sat herself down at the table. “Are you smitten again?”

“I’ve never not been smitten where Billy is concerned. Even at her worst, when the depths of depression had their grip on her, I still loved her.”

“And fancied her?”

“If I’m honest, this version of her is even more attractive. She’s got this confidence now, that I always thought was there, but I can see that it’s much more profound.” Rosa blushed. “She’s more…adventurous, too.”

Tanya grinned. “So, when are you seeing her next?”

“Tonight. I just need to drop Imogen off at her music lessons and then I have a couple of hours with Billy.”

“Oh. Fancy underwear under a raincoat?”

“Not likely.” Rosa chuckled. “I think Imogen might notice.”

“Put it on under some loungewear, slip it off in the car outside Billy’s, back on when you leave.” Tanya winked, enjoying making Rosa blush.

“I couldn’t.”

“You could.” Tanya stood up to leave. “Live dangerously, spice up ya life, as the Spice Girls sang.” She stopped just past the kitchen door and poked her head back around it. “I’m glad you’re finally getting some.”

“Getting some what?” Imogen asked as she bounced down the stairs.

Tanya went wide-eyed and mouthed a silent, “Sorry.”

Rosa tried to come up with something before Imogen became really inquisitive, but Tanya came to the rescue.

“Oh, I told your mum about a new wine I’d tried and said she should try, but the store was out…it’s back in stock now, so she can get some.”

Imogen pulled a face. “Thought it was something exciting.”

“Sorry to disappoint.” Rosa smirked at Tanya before shooing her out. “Right, I’ll just be a couple of minutes and then we can get you to your lessons.”

“La la la, la la la la la la,” Tanya started singing from Spice Up Your Life as she danced down the hall to the door. “See ya,” she called back before leaving them both watching her.

“Is she all there?” Imogen asked.

Rosa laughed and headed up the stairs. “Probably not, but I like her that way.”

Robbie was waiting outside for Imogen when Rosa pulled up in front of Garth’s house.

“So, I’ll be back at—”

“I know. Same time as every week.”

“Okay, well, have fun.”

“I will.” Imogen leant over and kissed Rosa on the cheek. “Why are you wearing a raincoat?”

“Because…I thought I might pop into town for some shopping, and it said it might rain later.”

Imogen considered that for a second.

“Okay, well, you have fun too then.”

She jumped out as she greeted Robbie. Rosa watched them both walk up the short path and ring the doorbell. When Garth answered, they turned and waved.

Pulling away from the kerb, Rosa couldn’t help but giggle to herself. “Why are you wearing a raincoat? Tanya, you have a lot to answer for.”

Around the corner from Garth’s house was a small parking area.

It was empty, dark, and nobody was nearby.

Rosa stopped the car, unbuckled her seatbelt, and began to wriggle out of the raincoat and the loungewear underneath.

Her eyes scanned the area in case anyone was watching as she stripped down to the emerald green matching set she’d quickly slipped into before they’d left.

It was a crazy idea, wasn’t it? And yet…here she was. She pulled the raincoat back on and buttoned it up, sliding the belt back around her before pulling away again and heading towards Billy’s.
