32. OLIVIA
The new house is massive, a sprawling structure with white stone walls, large windows, and a wraparound porch.
The front yard is dotted with oak trees, their shade spilling over the driveway where our cars are parked haphazardly. A faint breeze carries the scent of freshly cut grass, and somewhere in the distance, a lawn mower hums.
It’s the kind of place that feels like it could actually be home, not just another temporary stop.
Boxes are everywhere. Some are stacked on the porch, others scattered across the driveway. Marcus carries a heavy-looking box toward the door, muttering about how it’s definitely not marked “fragile.”
Jax lugs two furniture pieces over his shoulders as if they weigh nothing, his muscles flexing with the effort. I’m holding a single lamp, which feels increasingly pathetic in comparison.
“You guys make me look bad,” I say, shaking my head as I follow them inside.
Ethan raises a brow, gesturing to my swollen belly. “You’re literally carrying the heaviest weight around here, woman.” I’m around seven months now.
“Well I want to help,” I say, thrusting the lamp at him.
“There’s a small box just out the door that you can carry, sweetheart,” Marcus says helpfully. I smile. I love the fact that they treat me as an equal partner. That was always my qualm about getting married, and now I’m here with the three loves of my life.
“This is it,” I say, setting down the box in my arms and taking a moment to really look at the house. “We actually did it.”
Ethan steps up beside me, a grin splitting his face. “Yep. And I think it’s safe to say we’re going to need a map to navigate this place.”
Marcus snorts as he hauls a suitcase up the front steps. “Speak for yourself. I’m claiming the room with the best view.”
“You mean the one I already called?” Ethan fires back, smirking.
Inside, the air is cool and smells faintly of new paint. The foyer opens up into a massive living room with vaulted ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and hardwood floors that gleam in the afternoon sunlight. There’s an open-concept kitchen to the left, complete with a marble island that looks like it belongs in a cooking show.
“It’s ridiculous,” I mutter, mostly to myself.
“Ridiculously perfect,” Jax says, brushing past me
“Come on, Liv. Admit it. It’s even better than my beach house. This is a damn good start.”
“It is,” I agree, smiling despite myself.
The rest of the afternoon is a blur of unloading boxes, unpacking, and claiming bedrooms. The guys argue over who gets what space, but it’s all in good fun. I take the room closest to the library—because yes, this house has a library—and spend a good ten minutes just marveling at the built-in shelves and cozy window seat.
Outside, a couple of neighbors linger on the sidewalk, watching us with thinly veiled curiosity. They’re trying to act casual, but their glances are far too frequent to be accidental.
“Think we’re the talk of the neighborhood already?” I ask, nodding toward them.
Ethan grins, leaning on the doorframe. “Definitely. We should do a house tour. Give them something to really talk about.”
Marcus groans from where he’s wrestling with an overly complicated bedframe. “Last thing we need is to make an even bigger spectacle of ourselves.”
Jax walks in from the backyard, wiping sweat off his brow. “Speaking of spectacles, the announcement video is still trending. We’re holding steady at number three.”
“Number three?” I repeat, my stomach flipping. “Since last week?”
“Yep.” He tosses me a bottle of water, his grin easy. “Seems like people can’t get enough of us.”
I take a long sip, letting his words sink in. It’s a good sign—better than good, really—but it also feels like a challenge. We’ve managed to hold their attention, but what happens next?
“House tour idea isn’t bad,” Ethan says, nudging me with his elbow. “Maybe it’s the kind of content we need to keep the momentum going.”
I laugh, shaking my head. “Let’s unpack first, WeTube star. Then we’ll think about the next big production.”
By the time the last box is unloaded and most of the furniture is in place, the house is starting to look less like a blank canvas and more like somewhere we might actually live. The kitchen counters are cluttered with mismatched mugs, a box of pastries Ethan brought as motivation, and a half-unpacked blender. The living room is still mostly empty, save for a couch Marcus wrestled into place with an impressive amount of cursing.
“Dinner’s on me tonight,” Ethan announces, flopping onto the couch with exaggerated exhaustion. “I think I deserve a medal for the sheer number of boxes I carried.”
“You carried, what, three?” Marcus shoots back, smirking. “Maybe four?”
“Details,” Ethan says, waving him off. “I’ll order pizza. That counts as contributing.”
Jax walks in from the backyard again, looking amused as he surveys the chaos. “I’d call it bribery, not contributing.”
“Bribery works,” Ethan replies, already pulling out his phone.
I settle onto the arm of the couch, taking a moment to soak it all in. The place still feels massive, like it might take weeks to fill all the space, but it’s starting to feel less overwhelming and more like ours. The sound of Ethan bickering with Marcus, the sight of Jax smirking in the doorway—it’s grounding in a way I didn’t expect.
“You’re quiet,” Jax says, his voice low as he steps closer. “What’s on your mind?”
I shrug, glancing up at him. “Just thinking about how far we’ve come. A year ago, I couldn’t have imagined this. Any of it.”
He leans against the wall, his gaze soft. “It’s a lot, but we’re here. That’s what matters.”
A knock at the door interrupts the moment, and Ethan perks up. “Pizza already? That was fast.”
He strides over to the door, but instead of a delivery driver, it’s one of the neighbors—a middle-aged woman with neatly curled hair and a curious smile. She’s holding a plate covered with foil.
“Welcome to the neighborhood,” she says brightly, offering Ethan the plate. “Thought I’d bring over some cookies. I’m Sarah, by the way. I live two houses down.”
Ethan grins, his charm dialed up to eleven. “Thanks, Sarah. I’m Ethan. This is Liv, Marcus, and Jax.”
Sarah’s eyes flick to each of us, her curiosity thinly veiled. “It’s nice to meet you all. Quite a team you’ve got here.”
“You could say that,” Marcus says, smiling as he stands up.
“Thanks for the cookies,” I offer. Sarah looks like she’s about to say something but changes her mind the last second.
“Of course,” Sarah says, her smile widening. “If you need anything, just let us know. We’re a friendly bunch around here.”
“Good to know,” Jax says, nodding politely as Sarah waves and heads back down the driveway.
As soon as the door closes, Ethan holds up the plate triumphantly. “Cookies and pizza. This is shaping up to be a solid first night.”
Marcus rolls his eyes, but there’s a faint smile on his face. “If that’s all it takes to win you over, Ethan, your standards are embarrassingly low.”
“It’s the simple things in life,” Ethan shoots back, plopping down onto the couch.
I laugh, shaking my head as I grab one of the cookies. It’s warm and gooey, chocolate chips melting slightly as I take a bite. It tastes like welcome, like the start of something new.
The house slowly begins to feel like ours as the evening stretches on. We eat pizza cross-legged on the living room floor, swapping stories and debating which room should be the official filming space for Love Lab.
We spend the next few days setting up our house in Austin.
The smell of fresh paint and new furniture mingles with the faint aroma of pizza as the last of the boxes finally make it through the door. I take a step back, surveying the chaos that now fills the sprawling living room of our new house. It’s huge—more space than we could ever need—but that was the point.
“It’s almost too quiet,” I say aloud, my voice echoing slightly in the cavernous room. “Think we’ll actually get less attention here?”
“That’s the idea, isn’t it?” Marcus replies, dropping a box labeled Books onto the coffee table. “Big city, more distractions. No one cares what the quirky new neighbors are doing.”
“Quirky,” Ethan repeats with a grin, carrying a lamp awkwardly under one arm. “That’s a polite way of putting it.”
I glance at him, raising an eyebrow. “What would you call us?”
“Trailblazers,” Ethan says.
“Revolutionaries. Content creators extraordinaire.”
“Walking scandals,” Jax adds.
He looks at me and shrugs. “Not that I’m complaining. This is already better than the alternative.”
It’s true. We all needed this move for different reasons—Jax for Adam, Marcus to reconnect with his daughter, Ethan because he thrives on change. For me, it’s about focusing on Death Crunch, the company I built from the ground up. And if Austin’s sprawling chaos means fewer people poking into our personal lives, even better.
“Well, if nothing else,” I say, gesturing to the house around us, “we’ve got plenty of space to figure things out.”
The house is massive. The main living area opens up to soaring ceilings with exposed beams, and the oversized windows let in so much light it feels like we’re standing outside.

(The camera opens with a wide shot of the Love Lab team standing in the living room of their new Austin home. The room is brightly lit, with a cozy and lived-in atmosphere. Ethan is holding the camera at arm’s length, while Olivia, Marcus, and Jax stand beside him.)
Ethan (grinning into the camera):
“Hey, Love Lab fam! Welcome back to a very special episode. It’s your favorite crew back with some big updates. And when I say big, I mean Texas-sized, because… surprise! We’ve officially moved to Austin!”
(He turns the camera to pan the living room, showcasing the high ceilings, large windows, and spacious layout.)
Olivia (walking into the frame and gesturing around):
“This is our new home in Austin. We’ve officially moved to the city, and we couldn’t be more excited. It’s big, it’s bright, and it’s definitely going to be a game-changer for the Love Lab.”
Jax (leaning against the staircase with a small smirk):
“Big doesn’t even begin to cover it. I’m still trying to figure out how to get from the kitchen to the backyard without a GPS.”
(The camera follows them as they walk into the kitchen, where Ethan flips the camera to selfie mode, giving a close-up of his excited grin before turning it back to the team.)
Ethan:
“So, why Austin, you ask? Well, it’s not just about tacos and sunshine—though those are definite perks.”
Transition: The New City
(The screen cuts to a montage of their move to Austin—carrying boxes, setting up the new space, and sharing laughs. The scene shifts back to the group.)
Olivia (cutting in):
“It’s about fresh starts. A bigger city gives us more opportunities, not just for the Love Lab, but for each of us to focus on what’s important. For me, that’s Death Crunch.”
(She gestures toward a nearby laptop, where a spreadsheet is open on the counter.)
Olivia:
“My company’s been growing fast, and being in Austin lets me take it to the next level while still being part of this amazing team.”
Marcus (nodding, his tone more serious):
“It’s also about building something sustainable. We’ve grown so much over the past year, but we needed a place where we could really focus on the future—both for the channel and for ourselves.”
(They walk upstairs, showing the bedrooms. Marcus jokes about how Ethan’s room is already a mess, and Ethan defends himself by claiming it’s “organized chaos.” They eventually stop in front of the library.)
Ethan: “Okay, confession time—this is my favorite room. The library! It’s like we’re living in a movie set.”
Olivia (smiling):
“It’s my favorite too. It’s where I’ll be when I’m not knee-deep in spreadsheets or filming with you guys.”
Marcus:
“You mean hiding from us.”
(They laugh as the camera transitions to a sit-down setup in the living room, the team gathered casually on the couch.)
Ethan:
“Now, for the part you’ve all been waiting for—the real reason we wanted to sit down and chat with you today.”
Olivia (smiling nervously but warmly):
“We’ve always promised to be transparent with you, to let you in on our journey, and that’s exactly what we’re here to do.”
Jax(taking Olivia’s hand in his): “We’ve got more than a new city to talk about today. We know you’ve all been closely following our journey—through ups, downs, and surprising twists. Well, get ready, because we’re about to share our biggest twist yet.”
OLIVIA (smiling, hands clasped in her lap):
I wouldn’t call it just a twist, Jax. It’s more like… a brand-new chapter. Deep breath. Love Lab fam, we have an announcement: I’m pregnant.
(A brief pause for dramatic effect. The camera zooms in on Olivia’s warm smile.)
ETHAN (enthusiastic, leaning closer to Olivia):
That’s right, folks—our very first Love Lab baby is on the way! And before anyone asks, yes, we’re doing this together. We’ve always believed in exploring different ways love can take shape, and we’re about to dive headfirst into parenthood.
(She glances at the others, and they nod encouragingly. Her hand rests subtly on her stomach.)
Jax: “That’s right. We’re going to be parents—together. And we couldn’t be more excited for this next chapter.”
MARCUS (with a proud grin):
This child is going to have so many doting parents. It might be unconventional, but when did the Love Lab ever do conventional?
OLIVIA (softly, but with conviction):
You all have seen us navigate challenges, from personal conflicts to public misconceptions. And I know some of you might be thinking, “How’s this going to work?” The answer: with a lot of love, a lot of communication, and a willingness to figure it out as we go.
JAX (nodding, his gaze on the camera):
We also want to address something that’s been a big part of our lives—Charlie Green. There’s been a lot of talk about conflict, but here’s the truth: she actually helped us resolve some important issues behind the scenes. There’s no bad blood; sometimes people grow and come to understand each other better. We want to be clear that we appreciate the progress made and look forward to calmer waters.
(Camera angle shifts to show the entire group, revealing the new set’s backdrop, a stylized Austin skyline.)
ETHAN (gesturing to the backdrop):
This brings us to our rebrand . You may have noticed our new logo, new digs, and a shift in our approach. We’re taking Love Lab to the next level, tackling family life and parenthood and, of course, continuing our usual experiments in love and relationships.
MARCUS (waving a hand expansively):
The Love Lab’s always been about exploring every corner of what love can be—romantic, platonic, communal, parental. This little one— motions to Olivia’s belly —will give us a brand-new perspective, and we can’t wait to share the journey with all of you.
OLIVIA (with a playful smile, placing a hand on her stomach):
But don’t worry, we’re still keeping all the fun you love—our challenges, our Q&As, our deep dives. There’ll just be a few more baby-related moments, too.
JAX (leaning in, earnest):
For those wondering about Love Lab's future with all these changes, let us assure you that we’re more committed than ever. Our community has grown beyond our wildest dreams—over three million of you!—and we plan to keep creating the kind of real, honest content you’ve come to expect.
ETHAN (with a gentle laugh, pointing at the camera):
In other words: buckle up. This ride’s about to get even more interesting.
(A gentle instrumental music begins to rise in the background, signifying the wrap-up of the segment.)
MARCUS (smiling warmly):
From all of us here at the Love Lab, thank you for sticking with us, sharing your own stories, and helping us prove that love comes in many forms. We look forward to taking this next step in our journey with you.
OLIVIA (looking around at her partners, then back to the camera):
Remember, there’s no single definition of family—no single definition of love. We hope this next phase of our experiment shows you that even more clearly. We can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings.
Ethan (leaning forward with a grin):
“Now, if you’re still with us, drop a comment below with your best parenting advice. Because let’s be real—we’re going to need it.”
(They all share a laugh, exchanging looks that show both excitement and a bit of nerves.)
MARCUS (raising a hand in a quick wave to the camera):
Until next time—this is the Love Lab, signing off from Austin, Texas.
(The camera lingers on the group—Olivia, Ethan, Marcus, and Jax—sitting together in a warm, united tableau. Then the studio lights dim as the theme music swells and the video concludes.)
