Chapter 9
“So you’re a little weird? Work it! A little different? Own it! Better to be a nerd than one of the herd!” – Mandy Hale
Dylan
S ix Months Later
I would like to say that over the last two months of high school and the summer after, Garrett became a different person, even pleasant and endearing, but that would be lying. Garrett spent the remaining time before we all left our small town and headed off to our respective colleges glaring at me from across whatever room we happened to be sharing. There were reported fights in the locker rooms between certain team members before and after games and the rest of the team seemed to not want to take sides between the two Alphas on the team, so both were almost iced out of their respective social circles.
It was annoying, but I couldn’t bring myself to pay it too much mind as I had everything I had ever wanted. After that first night everything had changed. I had assumed on Monday morning that I would arrive at school and give some awkward jock nod to Austin across the hallway While retrieving books from my locker, or slide my foot against his leg under the tall tables in the science labs, maybe sneak out at lunch time and kiss under the bleachers like in some 1960’s high school movie. I couldn’t have been more wrong.
I’d opened my front door on Monday morning, ready to sprint down the block to catch the bus towards school only to be confronted by a smiling Austin on my doorstep.
“Sorry babe.” He’d gestured towards the street. “Some jackass blocked the roads as I was pulling into your street.”
I’d given him an incredulous look as if I’d slipped into some twilight zone reality. “What are you doing here?”
“It’s Monday…” He’d smirked and rolled his eyes. “You know, school?” He’d chuckled at my still-baffled expression before leaning forward to steal a kiss from my lips.
“Hey Austin.” My dad’s deep voice had sounded from behind me. I’d pushed Austin away slightly, turning around quickly, an overly eager smile on my face. My dad had squinted his eyes at me, a deep furrow in his brow. “You okay there, Dylan?” he’d regarded me curiously.
“I think he is a bit freaked out that you maybe just saw us kissing.” Austin had laughed. “I don’t know if it works the same with guys? Should I have asked your permission to date your son?”
My dad had barked out a laugh. “To be truthful with you Austin, I assumed you were together when I walked in on you in bed with my son cuddling in the middle of the night.”
My mouth had opened and closed aimlessly like a fish. “You saw that?” I’d croaked out.
“I’m your dad, idiot.” Dad had lightly punched my shoulder. “I check on you guys most nights.” He’d given me a final wink before returning to his armchair in front of the TV.
“Babe, we are going to be late for school.” Austin had pressed a kiss to my cheek, grabbing hold of my wrist and tugged me out the door.
If I’d had any illusions that Austin wasn’t totally in this one hundred percent, those perceptions had been completely shattered the moment we arrived at school. Austin had pulled his car into a space in the student car lot, quickly jumping out as soon as he shut off the engine. I’d watched in curiosity as the door slammed, initially thinking he was trying to run ahead to put some distance between me and him to quell any rumors that might be circulating about us. Instead, I’d watched him circle around the front of the car to my side. My jaw had dropped as he opened the door, nonchalantly offering out his hand like this was the seventeenth century and I was some maiden exiting her carriage. A laugh had burst from my throat, and I’d shaken my head and took his hand.
With my backpack clutched in my fingers, a warmth had settled within me as hed slung his arm over my shoulder, pulling me into his side. He’d chatted with me about classes he had that day and something about how Todd would be probably walking funny after his night with Hailey. I’d barely heard what he said, my focus still on the arm around me and the gawking stares of the students milling about the halls and the sound of the gossip engines revving.
“It’s just me and you, okay babe?” The sudden voice in my ear had shocked the shit out of me as I’d realized we were suddenly standing at my locker.
“Huh?”
“Let them stare.” He’d nodded towards a group of girls standing across the hall shooting us confused glances. “It’s just you and me now, nothing else matters. You’re still with me right?”
Everything else had melted away, the only thing that had remained was this almost frightened boy becoming a man, who wanted nothing more than to be with me. “Me and you always,” I’d promised.

The noise around me was almost frightening in its intensity: the blaring horns as cars and taxis meandered their way through the streets of New York, the sighs of the sewer and subway systems rose up through grates within the sidewalks and the general noise of the hustle and bustle of commuters and people just trying to go about their day unincumbered.
Austin and I had both been accepted onto our respective programs at NYU, but whereas I was in student housing within the very large building that dominated the skyline at 120 East 12th Street, Austin had managed to connect with a few guys who were also taking theatre at a mixer we had attended at the start of the summer and had agreed to get an off-campus apartment together in Brooklyn.
A group of arguably the hottest guys I had ever seen had stood at the corner of a rooftop bar in the center of Manhattan, Austin fitting in perfectly as they’d excitedly talked about the types of sitcom-inspired loft apartments they could get between them, before the voice of boring reason, AKA me, had interrupted to dutifully inform them that for the budget they had they could quite comfortably get a four bedroom apartment with each room being the size of a show box with shared bathrooms and bad plumbing.
“Can I help you?” one of them had openly sneered, looking down at me over the bridge of his effortlessly stylish black rimmed glasses that I imagined cost more than my entire outfit five times over.
The other three, essentially models, had turned and stared down at me, each of them at least a foot taller than me. I’d felt kind of like a hobbit standing before five beautiful elves. “Um I’m…”
“Oh my bad!” Austin had barked out a laugh, his arm slinking around my waist. “I totally thought I had introduced you.” He hadn’t and it had pissed me off a little to simply join a group by trailing behind him to be left standing there like a spare part in an IKEA DIY kit. “This is my boyfriend, Dylan. He’s also starting NYU this fall.”
“Oh boyfriends,” one of them had smirked, “how fun.” He’d said with the same tone that someone might use with a two-year-old bringing home a painted handprint from day-care, knowing full well that it would be disposed of in the trash later on that evening.
“If you go in with us Dylan, we could get a bigger place and me and you could share a room.” Austin’s excited boy voice had warmed the depths of my heart. I’d known he’d really meant it as well. The small part of me that wanted to accept his offer, to start out student life together in New York City, had been extinguished as I’d spied the worried looks of the four Horse-models of the AB-pocalyspe. They had not been too keen on the idea of this obvious nerd bringing down the attractiveness levels of their proposed new living situation.
“I think I’m going to stick with Founder’s Hall.” I’d heaved a sigh inside; Austin had clearly not picked up that these guys were clearly douchebags, but I wasn’t going to be one of those boyfriends who dictated who their partner could be friends with. Also, I’d been kind of relieved as I didn’t think I would have been able to focus on studying with a naked Austin in bed next to me. “I’ve been chatting online with my roommate so would be rude to back out now.”
“So you’re in?” One of them had excitedly patted Austin on the shoulder. I hadn’t been sure of their names, so I’d gone with Chad, Brad, Todd, and Charlie Brown, because why not.
“Yeah man, absolutely.” I’d turned away to grab another drink from the small table set up in the corner. In my head I’d imagined they all jumped in the air and high fived and then bumped abs, but I could have been wrong.
So this was how I find myself, standing outside of Founder’s Hall, my boyfriend somewhere in Brooklyn unpacking his own life.
“Hey, let me get that.” I couldn’t see who the voice belonged to as in my arms were two heavy boxes obscuring my path ahead, containing the majority of my life that I’d dragged along with me to NYU.
“Thank you.” I tried for a laugh but it actually came out as more of a sob.
“No worries, I just got all my stuff unpacked.” In my periphery, I saw a young girl with a head heavy with long strawberry blonde curls reaching around me to pull open the glass double doors. “Maybe if I’m altruistic just this once then the universe will pay me back later.”
I struggled through the open doors with my boxes, then placed them down with a clunk just next to what appeared to be a bank of mailboxes in a large open reception. I turned around to meet my knight-ess in shining armor. “I think if you’re expecting rewards from the universe then it really isn’t altruism,” I smiled and thrust out my hand, “but that’s cool because do-gooders tend to be secret assholes. I’m Dylan.”
“Hi, I’m Natalie.” Her delicate hand clutched my own as I gave it a firm shake. She was slightly shorter than me, with those red curls that framed her face in sharp contrast to her pale freckled skin. The volume of hair looked like a lion’s mane on such a slender body. “Dude, are you checking me out?”
I snapped my gaze up to meet hers. She smiled as I flushed, thinking of a way to tell her that she didn’t have the parts I needed to make my general perusal of her lithe body but huge boobs more than a passing curiosity. “No I’m not… I mean yes I was, but it’s not for what you think.”
“And what exactly do I think?” she smirked.
“Like I mean I don’t want to have sex with you,” I whispered hurriedly.
“If I knew opening doors for people in this city would get me sex, I would have come here a lot sooner.” She rubbed her chin between thumb and index finger.
“You’re fucking with me?” I sighed, scrunching my nose up as she nodded.
“Only ‘cause I have a good one I’m going to just go on out a limb here, but my gaydar is pinging like crazy. Am I right?” She sucked on her teeth, waiting for the answer like a contestant on a crappy nineties game show.
“Ding, ding, ding, you won the speedboat.” I shrugged, shooting her a wink.
“I’m gonna grab one of these boxes and help you up to your floor,” she held up a hand in front of her, “and if you try some oh don’t worry I can manage bullshit I’m gonna kick you in the shin.” She snagged one of the boxes and headed for the elevator with me following closely behind.
“Fourth floor please.” I nodded towards the buttons.
“Ah me too,” she beamed, “we’re neighbors.” Each of the floors in the dorm having only four two bed mini apartments definitely made us close neighbors. “Do you know who you are rooming with yet?”
“Yeah, some guy called Jared, but he isn’t getting here for a few days.”
She nodded as the elevator opened onto the fourth floor, and made our way to my rom. Natalie made herself comfortable on my roommate’s mattress while I unpacked. It was somewhere between jarring and comforting that she never actually asked if I wanted her to hang around, just assumed that since we were both apparently friends as well as neighbors there would be no reason for her not to hang out.
“So tell me about you.” She nudged me with her foot as I slid a small suitcase under my bed. “Is there a special someone back home?”
“No, actually, I brought my special someone with me,” I beamed.
“Is he with us now?” she whispered, looking around the room to the corners of the ceiling.
“He isn’t a fucking ghost,” I barked out a sharp laugh, “he decided to get a house off campus with some of the other guys on his course.”
“And you didn’t want to join them because?” she trailed off.
“Because they are a house of post high school jocks and I think my nerdiness would affect the delicate balance of beauty and douche-ness.” I shrugged, unrolling a very basic bitch Klimt poster and tacking it to the wall next to my bed.
“Fuck those jock bitches.” She held up a fist is mock solidarity.
“Whose fucking who?” I snapped my head to the door, taking in the delicious sight of my very hot jock boyfriend as he leaned against the doorframe. “Hi, I’m his jock bitch boyfriend, Austin.”
“Oh hey, I’m Natalie,” she smiled, shooting him off a wink. “Lucky boy.” She sent a smirk my way.
I couldn’t hide the smile that bloomed over my face, but I bit my lip to try and reign it in as much as possible. “I know, right.”
“I’m gonna go and give you guys some space.” she slapped her thighs before pushing to her feet. “Well I don’t want to sound all ‘three’s company’, but since we’re bestest friends in the whole wide world now Dylan, come knock at my door.”
“You don’t have to leave on my account,” Austin said as I gave her a quick nod.
“Well since my new best friend here looks about five minutes away from tearing your clothes off like a rabid wolf, I’m going to make myself scarce.” She shot me a final wink before the door closed behind her.
“Hey baby,” Austin smiled, closing the distance between us. He dipped his head down and pressed his soft lips against mine. I hummed in approval as his tongue swiped at my lower lip. “Rip my clothes off huh?”
Not breaking eye contact, I pushed Austin backwards towards the door, I reached behind him and snapped the lock shut. “You have a problem with that?” I smirked as I lowered myself to my knees in front of him.
“You’ll get no complaints from me,” he said breathlessly.
I made quick work of unbuttoning his tight jeans, sliding them down his thighs along with his briefs. His cock sprang out, hard and ready. A small rivulet of precum formed at the tip, getting heavier and heavier until it fell off his cock head. I darted forward and collected the drip on my tongue, allowing the sweetness to coat my mouth. I heard him groan deep in his chest. I looked up to catch him watching me, his stare hot and heavy. “You look so good on your knees for me.”
I had intended to tease him for a little while like I knew he liked, maybe tease the shaft with the tip of my tongue and a few light strokes. My control snapped, and I gripped his dick in my fists and swallowed his meat down into my throat. I must have looked like some wanton slut as I tried my hardest to cram his entire length as far back as it would go. I felt the telltale tearing of my eyes that told me I was about to gag. I pushed a little further and sure enough I choked on his dick. I pulled back and sucked and licked up and down his shaft, teasing the head with my tongue, pulling on his foreskin with my fist, making the cock head strain and color red angrily. I wanked him quickly into my mouth, wanting nothing more than for him to unload into me.
“Fuck… Oh shit Dylan… Fuck you’re so… Oh my god.” I felt the trembling of his legs and his hands scrabbled along the door behind him looking for purchase. I grabbed his hands and tangled them in my hair.
“Fuck my mouth,” I gasped before diving back onto his prick.
“Shit,” he grunted before fucking deep into my mouth, his hands tight around my head as he used my mouth as a hole for his cock. “I’m so close but I don’t want this.,” he whined.
What the fuck? “Excuse me?” I mumbled angrily around the shaft in my mouth.
He paused for a moment before barking out a laugh. “Dylan.” He reached down, hooked his hands under my arms and pulled me to my feet. His hand snaked around my back and slipped beneath my trousers, his fingers slipping down into the crevice. “I mean I want to fill this tight hole baby.”
I bit my lip so hard I thought I might taste blood to stop mewling, and pushed back hard onto his finger, feeling the tip slip inside me. “Please.” I couldn’t think of anything else to say that conveyed just how much I wanted his cock in me right at that moment.
This would not have been the first or even the hundredth time Austin had claimed my hole, as few days after our first kiss and my truly spectacular cock sucking skills at the school prom, Austin had come over after school and spent the night at my house. In the middle of the night I had woken up with my cock in his mouth as he’d tried to suck my brains out through my dick. I’d looked down and seen the desire and the heat as he went to town on me. I’d wanted him to be my first. Hell, I’d wanted him to be my fucking last. I’d begged him to fuck me. He’d taken his time and it had been gentle, slow and let’s not kid ourselves, painful as fuck. After that first time though, it was as if he had woken up some horny beast inside of me that could only be sated by Austin’s hard pole ramming hard into me at every opportunity. We had then taken every available free moment to try and tame said beast, but it would not be satisfied. Not when Austin had fucked me in the janitor’s closet, not when he'd fucked me in the car lot at school after the last cars had left for home, not in the movie theatre toilets, not in the woods near the bluff and not in the other countless times I had ridden his cock at my house.
“You never have to say please,” he breathed, “but I love it when you do.” He winked, kissing me hard before turning us around and pushing me face first into the door. I undid my trousers and pushed them down my thighs, my cock springing forward.
“Fuck me,” I whined.
“This is going to be fast, baby.” He reached forward and held his fingers in front of my mouth. I sucked on them for a few seconds, leaving them wet with spit. I looked back as he coated his prick with it. “I’m already having to hold back.”
“I don’t care, Austin. I need you in me.” I pushed my ass back only to receive a quick swat of his palm. My cock thickened further as the head pressed against the cold hard wood of the door, my precum leaving a trail on the surface. Interesting, maybe I’m into spanking. I made a mental note to come back to that later.
“Shit,” he bit out though his teeth as he pushed himself into my wet hole. I felt my muscles contracting around him, almost trying to pull him quicker into me. The delicious burn started as he sank deeper and deeper, pain turning to pure pleasure as he bottomed out. He placed my hands on the door handle and the edge of my desk. “Hold on,” he whispered darkly into my ear.
I was fairly sure I saw stars as he began to pound so hard into me that I could feel him in my stomach. I tried to make coherent sounds about how good he was taking me, but they came out as gasps and grunts as the wet sounds of his prick and the slap of his balls made me salivate. “You are fucking mine,” he said, licking the shell of my ear before giving the lobe a quick nip and tugging on my ear.
I felt every inch of him as he slid in and out, the amazing feel of flesh against flesh as he set a punishing pace. I reached down and fisted my cock, jacking myself off quickly. It took me seconds before I felt the telling tingle in my balls as they began to tighten up. “Fuck, you’re gonna make me cum, Austin.”
He slammed into me hard, and I knew I had only seconds left before I either came or this dicking down simply killed me.
“Cum for me.” I tensed as jet after jet exploded from my cock, splattering the door in front of me. My legs turned to jelly as his arm wrapped around my waist and held me up, while still pounding into me. “I’m gonna fill you up.”
“Please, please,” I repeated over and over. The only thing I needed in the world at that moment was to be filled with his load.
His arm tightened around me, a deep guttural groan sounding in my ear and his thrusts stuttered. His cock stretched my hole wider as his warm cum pumped deep. He slammed into me a few more times before coming to a halt. He slouched over me, his sweaty chest resting against my back.
“Oh fuck,” he sighed.
“Yeah,” I breathed.
“Yeah,” Natalie said from the other side of the door. “I know you can’t see me but I’m holding up a card that has a number ten on it.”
“Holy shit,” I gasped, scrambling to pull my trousers up. My cum-slicked cock pushed back inside and my gaping hole covered, I pulled open the door a bit and peeped my head around.
“I forgot my room key on the other bed, but I was gone for like a minute and heard you guys going at it. Thought it’d be nice and wait for you to finish.”
Austin broke into laughter behind me, walking across the room and passing the key out to her.
“See you later.” She smiled before disappearing back down the corridor.
