26. Nakyra

Chapter 26

Nakyra

E very neuron in my body was currently going haywire. Right now I couldn’t tell if I was coming or going as the different sensations shot through my body. The anticipation of what Creed was going to do next had me on edge.

“Ah!” I cried when Creed pushed something textured inside me. It was grooved, thick, and long. My stomach quivered and I yanked my wrists against the restraints. My head spun as pleasure shot up my spine. Creed used another ice cube on my breast, circling my nipple, then extending out to my areola. My heart slammed behind my breast cavity. His fingers were pulled out of me. The textured surface went across my clit again. My legs quivered and my toes curled as another orgasm released through me.

I never knew taking away my senses could cause this kind of intensity inside me. Soon, nothing was touching me. My heart pounded. Sweat beaded on my forehead. My pulse raced through my veins.

I jumped when something flat slapped against my stomach, followed by something soft and furry. It stung, but was bearable. He repeated the motion a couple times, changing where he hit my body. Sometimes he used the furry thing to run it over my skin, then he’d switch up and hit me back-to-back.

My breathing was heavier than it’d ever been. My body tingled and it felt as if I was floating. My brain didn’t know if I was hurting or wanted more. Between my legs was flooded, like a hurricane had come through. I cried out when the slap went across my breast followed by another ice cube, then sucking.

Fuck. Fuck.

I didn’t know what Creed was doing to me but the intense feeling of euphoria rushing through my body almost choked me.

“Creed!” I whimpered when something thick pushed into my pussy. I didn’t think it was Creed’s dick, but it was close in size. It was rippled and filled me up painfully good. Creed fucked me with the toy, pushing it deep inside me, switching between fast and slowly. Just as I was about to come again, Creed pulled the toy out, halting my orgasm. Disappointment ripped through me.

He slapped my clit and pushed the toy back inside. Each time I was about cum he would stop and tease another part of my body with one of the toys he had been using on me. Tears clouded my eyes behind the blindfold as the overwhelming need to cum filled me. It was painful. My clit was overly sensitive and throbbing. I attempted to bring myself to orgasm by thrusting my hips upward.

“Oh, oh!” I cried, twisting my body when ice brushed over my clit and the top of my pussy. The toy was yanked out of me again and the ice cube pushed inside my hot walls. My eyes rolled to the back of my head as my mind detached from my body, which felt filled with nothing but air when Creed’s tongue circled my opening then pushed the ice deeper into me. The textured item was back and rubbing over my clit as he sucked me like he was trying to take meat off a rib bone.

I had to come! I needed to cum!

Soon, something else was pushing into me. When I felt his pelvis slap against mine I knew it was his dick. He fucked me with intent. His dick stretched me and my walls clenched around him. The ice was back on my clit, dripping down to where his dick met my opening. Even though I couldn’t hear them, I had a feeling my moans were louder than they’d ever been.

The moment something hot hit the center of my chest, I was done for. I gasped. My body exploded in a downpour of sensation and burst into a shattering ball of ecstasy. My lungs forgot how to function properly. The feeling was so overpowering it scared me.

Creed’s large hands rubbed my breasts, rubbing in whatever he had poured onto my skin. I was beat. My skin felt overly sensitive. Every atom in my body buzzed like crazy. Exhaustion slammed into me with intensity. It seemed like time slowed and I was having an out of body experience.

Time passed and soon I was untied, unblindfolded, and curled up on Creed’s lap. My mind was clear, but my head was still hazy.

Creed lifted something in front of me and I realized it was water. He brought the bottle to my mouth and I eagerly took large gulps. Next, he lifted my aids. I swallowed hard and reached for them with shaky hands. It took a couple minutes for my heart to get back to normal speed and my body to calm down.

“How do you feel?” Creed asked once I was able to hear him again.

“I don’t even know.” I closed my eyes as small tremors passed through my body.

“Did you enjoy it?”

Peeking one eye open, I looked at him. “That was probably the best experience of my life.” A lazy smile formed on my lips.

Creed chuckled and hugged me tighter. “I tried to go easy on you so it wouldn’t be too much.”

“You didn’t. It was perfect.” My voice faded as a yawn slipped out.

“You were perfect. The way you responded and took it was picturesque.” Warmth filled my chest. Creed pressed the water bottle against my lips again and aimlessly I drank from it.

Creed was an amazing and passionate lover. I’d never been with anyone like him. If I was being honest I was sure he had ruined me for any other man too.

____

It felt good to have my braids back in. My natural hair was just too much to maintain and something I had no desire to deal with. I had plans to go home, cook, and curl up next to Creed while we continued our Criminal Minds binge. This morning, before my hair appointment, I had sent my agent what I had of my comic so far, to get her opinion on it. It was halfway done now and I was feeling good about it. My children’s book was going through revisions and due to release at the beginning of the year. So far my adjusted aids were working well and I hadn’t dealt with any ear pain or headaches. Things were looking up.

I pulled into my driveway, parking next to Creed’s truck. I grabbed my purse and phone after turning the car off then grabbed my bags from the light shopping I did after my appointment from the back seat.

When I stepped in the house I heard Creed talking lowly in the living room. Setting my bags down by the door, I removed my coat and shoes before following his voice. A smile formed on my face when I laid eyes on him. His eyes lifted when he heard me and the smile on my face fell seeing the distress on his face.

“A’right. Thanks for giving me a call,” he said as I started for the couch. His eyes locked on me with intensity.

“What’s wrong?” I approached the couch. Creed grabbed me and pulled me onto his lap, circling his arms around me.

“That was the hospital.” My brows furrowed and my mouth turned upside down.

“Hospital?”

“Yeah. When me and my parents got into it at the hospital, I figured it would be tricky to find out what was going on with my brother; so I paid one of the nurses to keep me updated if he woke up.” He paused for a slight moment. “That was her.”

My face fell and my blood ran cold. “Wh-what?” I blinked slowly.

“This morning, apparently Rome woke up.” Creed’s eyes bounced around my face.

“Well… what are they saying? Does he remember what happened? Is he even okay?”

“I don’t know, baby. She just told me he was up and the doctor was running tests.”

My stomach twisted. I wasn’t sure how I should feel right now. Part of me was happy that he was alive and fine, but the other part of me realized what this meant. For the past three and a half months, me and Creed had been living in a happy bubble. Now it felt like it had popped and everything was about to fall apart.

“It’s okay if you’re happy he’s up,” Creed assured me, rubbing his arm.

I scraped my teeth over my bottom lip and brushed my right ear with my hand. “Is he allowed to have visitors?”

“Even if he isn’t we’d get back there. Do you want to go see him?”

I swallowed hard and nodded.

“Okay. Then let’s do it.”

My day had started off so well and now it felt like it was spinning. I didn’t know how things would be once I got to the hospital, but the sooner we got the visit over with the better.

____

“Hey.” I stopped and grabbed Creed before we got to Rome’s room. Thankfully he was still on the allowed visitor list. “I think we should wait to tell Rome about us. At least for a couple of days until we learn about his condition.”

Creed chuckled and grabbed my hand, squeezing it. “Relax. I wasn’t planning on blurting it out the moment we got in the room. We’re good.”

I gave him a small smile. “I just don’t want you to think I’m having second thoughts about us, because I’m not, but this situation…”

“Is messy as hell.” He leaned down and pecked my lips. “I get it, you don’t have to explain anything to me. Let’s just go in there and find out how he is. Don’t worry about my parents either, okay?”

I exhaled a heavy breath and nodded, gripping his hand tightly. “Okay.”

My heart felt like it would leap out my chest when we got to the door. My nerves were jittery. I didn’t know why but it felt like I was walking into a war zone.

“Ready?” Creed glanced down at me.

“Yeah.” I sighed.

Creed pushed the door open and allowed me to walk in first.

“What are you doing here?” his mom asked, shooting out of her chair and glaring at me.

Ignoring her, I shifted my eyes to Rome, whose eyes were open and staring at me. “Rome.”

One corner of his mouth lifted. “Well aren’t you gonna come over here and show your fiancé some love after all this time?” His voice was raspy and he sounded tired. His words also came out sluggish.

I cleared my throat and avoided his mom’s eyes as I approached the other side of the bed.

“Why would you bring her back here, Creed? You never have any respect for me or your father’s wishes!” his mom complained.

“You heard him, she’s his fiancée. She had the right to see him.”

“Hi!” I leaned down and kissed Rome’s cheek. I didn’t have anything to say to Marisol. There were enough things on my mind without her nagging.

“You can do better than that, Nakyra.”

Forcing a smile, I pecked his lips. “How are you feeling?”

“Sore as hell.” He groaned and shifted. “The meds they have me on are helping though.”

I scanned his body. “What are they saying? You were out for a long time.”

His face fell. “I don’t want to talk about that right now. Just be happy I’m up,” he snapped, catching me off guard.

My brows furrowed as I wondered why he wouldn’t answer.

Rome’s eyes shifted and it was like for the first time he realized Creed was there. “Baby bro,” he said, followed by a cough and grunt.

Creed stepped toward the bed with his hands in his pocket. “It’s good to see you up, Rome.”

“Creed flew in as soon as I told him you were injured and has been here since,” I mentioned.

“Really?” Rome looked shocked.

“Not like it made a difference,” his mom commented.

The door to the room opened again and Deacon walked in the room. He stilled and his eyes bounced between me and Creed. “What the hell is going on here? Why are you two here?” Deacon looked noticeably rough. Whatever treatment he was going through was taking a clear toll on his body.

I glanced at Rome to see if he would say anything, but just like before, he was quiet.

“My brother just woke up. You don’t think I deserve to come see him.”

“How did you even know that? Did you call him?” he asked his wife.

“No, I didn’t.”

“And you, I know we didn’t put you back on the list.” He glowered at me.

“You don’t gotta talk to her like that. She deserves to be here just like the two of you do.” He whipped his head to Rome. “You’re not gonna speak up for your fiancée?”

“Mom and Dad just don’t want me overexerting myself. The doctor told me I need to take it easy.” His eyes were heavy now and his voice was low.

My shoulders fell. Just like before, he was defending and making excuses for his parents.

There was a knock on the door and a nurse stepped in. “I’m here to take you down for your scan,.” she said, bypassing everyone, oblivious to the tension in the room.

I stepped away from the bed and folded my hands in front of me, watching as the nurse prepared to push his bed out the room.

Once we were alone, his mom squared her shoulders and stood in front of me. Creed came and stood by my side.

“Rome just woke up from a traumatic experience. The last thing he needs is you two coming up here and stressing him out. He has a long road to recovery coming.”

“When the hell did I ever stress him out?” I asked, over the pleasantries.

“Excuse me.” She grabbed her chest and cocked her head back.

“Watch your mouth when you talk to my wife!” Deacon stepped forward.

“Your wife needs to watch how she talks to me. I’ve always been respectful to both of you, but the way you treat me is ridiculous. I mean, you couldn’t even call and tell me Rome woke up for God’s sake!”

Creed grabbed my arm. “We came up here to see about Rome. There’s no need for either of you to attack Nakyra for being concerned.”

“Rome will probably go back to sleep when they come back. So you two can leave.” His mom lifted her nose in the air.

“Can you at least tell me what the doctors are saying about him?”

“You heard the nurse, they’re still testing.”

I sighed and shook my head. I knew talking to his parents would get me nowhere. If I wanted to know about Rome I would have to wait until I could have a conversation with him myself.

“Let’s just go, Creed,” I said, finally. The last thing I wanted to do was sit here and argue with these two.

“You sure?” He stared at me with concern. “Don’t let them run you off.”

Marisol scoffed.

“No, it is fine. I will come back later. I am sure Rome needs his rest,” I signed to him.

Creed dragged his tongue over his top teeth and nodded slowly. “A’right, we can go if you’re sure.”

“I’m sure.”

Honestly, it didn’t even feel right being up here. It was awkward and I was uncomfortable.

The two of us left without saying anything else to Creed’s parents and they didn’t try to stop us.

“That was fun,” I mumbled when we were out of the door.

Creed chortled. “Yeah, if that’s what you want to call it.”

“I don’t know why I expected anything different.”

His arm went around my shoulders. “Don’t let them bother you. They’re both bitter and stuck in their ways. It is what it is.”

I knew he was right. I had dealt with them long enough to know that. It just bothered me how little they respected me.

“Let’s grab something to eat while we’re out,” he suggested, hitting the button to open the double doors.

My stomach rumbled on cue. “Guess that’s a yes.” I grinned up at him.

He leaned down and pecked my forehead.

“I’m happy that he woke up, but when I kissed him I didn’t feel anything,” I confessed.

“Rome made his bed, now he has to lay in it. Don’t feel guilty about that.”

I reached out and hit the button for the elevator. “Yeah, you’re right.”

Now that Rome was awake, it made things much more real. I was sure once I broke things off with him I would have to find somewhere else to live. The house was in his name. That wasn’t something I’d thought about before, but now reality was setting in. I hadn’t planned ahead the whole time Rome was in his coma, but that all was about to change now.
