Chapter Nine #5

After going through security at the airport, and making it to my gate, I sat in the Delta sky lounge waiting for the plane to arrive.

I was two hours early, and the flight was only an hour and a half long.

I scrolled through social media and tried my hardest not to stalk Co’s page to see what he had posted earlier.

After a few funny videos on my timeline, his post appeared and my chest tightened.

In the picture, he looked genuinely happy.

He was sitting in a park, beside NY’Airy underneath a shade tree.

They were sweaty and wearing workout clothes.

They were both smiling like they were riding a post work out euphoria.

His arm rested lightly behind her and the sunlight hit her face causing her to glow.

She didn’t look like the sad puppy that had come into the gym a few weeks ago, unsure, insecure, and trying her hardest to melt into the pavement.

She looked happy, alive, and like she was healing from the inside out.

The caption read: The right people in your corner will force you to see the worst parts of yourself #SeparatedIsStillMarried #DM your best divorce attorney recommendations.

I read the caption over and over again until the words blurred together.

I didn’t know that tears were falling down my face until I felt my own cheeks.

That bastard was now ready to shout to the mountains that he was separated and asking for divorce attorney recommendations.

Those two things alone weren’t what made the knife feel like it was twisting in my back.

It was the first part of the caption, The right person in your corner will force you to see the worst parts of yourself.

Who the fuck was the “right person” that was forcing him to see that he was a piece of shit?

My pride wouldn’t let me believe that it was NY’Airy.

There was no way that a woman who wasn’t half as sexy as me had tamed the beast that had been using me for pussy for a year.

My mind told me it was possible as I immediately began to list all the ways that I was better than her.

She was an ordinary girl! Like Beyonce said about that random fan in the crowd, she wasn’t a diva!

She wasn’t wearing a five-hundred-dollar wig or long sexy nails like me.

“It’s just because he’s training her,” I said to myself aloud.

My ego persuaded me to scroll down his page like I hadn’t looked at every picture already.

Maybe this was just a client/trainer picture, and he had a million more pictures with other clients.

I went searching through his pictures looking for other pictures with other clients and I couldn’t find any.

Not a single picture on his page with another client.

“He likes this bitch and she’s making him want to officially leave his wife,” I said aloud as the pain in my chest spread through my body.

The wise woman’s words from earlier faded into my memory as anger and disappointment burned through me.

He had just posted this picture an hour ago.

He had also just texted me around the same time asking if I’d gone to the doctor to see if I was pregnant.

It made me feel like he was trying to tie up all his loose ends before he pursued the woman he really wanted.

For a year, Cozart Walker had acted like his marriage was this impossible prison he was stuck in.

He had made it seem like he couldn’t even take me on a fucking date.

After a few weeks another woman had accomplished something, I couldn’t make happen in a year.

She got daylight while I got late night hotel rooms. I had fuck videos with no faces, and she had a post on his public page in front of his fifty thousand followers.

I had gotten sex, while she got possibility.

NY’Airy made him want to become a better man.

That pissed me off and jealousy burned me up inside.

I wasn’t even angry at him; I was angry at her.

She hadn’t done anything to me, but unfortunately for her, she was standing a little too close to the man that broke me.

I rifled through my luggage until I found the manilla folder.

I pulled my laptop issued to me by Brick and Co Fitness out of my bag and logged onto Delta’s Wi-Fi.

I then logged into the gym database. I typed in Ny’Airy’s name and her profile appeared.

The woman at the restaurant had told me to walk away.

I was about to do that until Co posted this picture with this dumb ass caption.

So, she was the one that made him want to be a better man?

Let’s see how much she wanted him after I destroyed her.

I dug deep into her life and found out everything I could.

I then went over to four banks and applied for accounts in her name.

After they were approved, I applied for five credit cards in her name.

When I was done with this bitch, she wouldn’t be able to get a Victoria’s Secret gift card in her name.

I could look at him and tell he cared about her.

I was pondering how I would get him back for playing with my pussy and my heart, and he had led me straight to the answer.

I was going to destroy him by destroying her.

He wanted her, but he wouldn’t get the person he wanted the same way I couldn’t get him.

Life was a bitch, but I was an even bigger one and it was time for Cozart Walker to pay for all of the bitches he had fucked over and hurt.

I had gotten so lost in my mission that I almost missed the boarding call for my flight. I couldn’t wait to get back to Atlanta. If he thought, he was pissed about what I did with his wife he was about to be even more heated.
