CHAPTER 16
Mayil is standing outside the cabin and reading his name. She mumbles softly.
MRITYUNJAY SISODIYA
As soon as she read this name, there was a strange stir in her heart. But she manages herself and immediately pushes the door and goes inside. The man's back is towards her, and he is looking out from the glass wall with both his hands in his pockets.
She clears her throat and tries to turn his attention towards her, but by doing so, she feels that the man has smiled lightly but did not reciprocate. She calls out his name very softly.
"Mr. Sisodiya…."
The man smiles and turns toward her. As soon as she sees him, she feels as if her heart has forgotten to beat. She stands fiercely in her place.
A tall, very handsome man is standing in front of her. She is constantly looking at him without blinking her eyes. Mrityunjay stood in front of her with slow steps. Mayil has no idea at all that she is constantly looking at him. He smirks and says it in his strong voice.
"Good morning, Miss Kaushik."
Mayil looks like someone has woken her up from her sleep. She immediately takes her eyes off his face and says,.
"Good morning…."
Mrityunjay immediately moves towards the sofa and tells her while pointing for her to sit there.
"So, Miss Kaushik, what do you like to have? Tea or coffee?"... Let's order an American latte."
Mayil jerkily turns her face towards him because an American latte is her favorite. She doesn't want to get into the debate of the issue at all; how did he know what her favorite is? She just wants to talk about the issue directly. She asks him without wasting her time.
"Why are you behind our company?"
When suddenly she asked such questions, Mrityunjay sat upright and rested his elbows on the handle of the sofa, put his fingers on his lips, started looking at Mayil, smiled, and answered her very easily.

Her whole body was shivering at his voice. But she tells him to keep herself confident.

"Oh… By the way, I am in no mood to sell those shares back. But you have come here personally, so I am ready to sell those shares to you for only 00 crores. But only Kaushik and Sons."
Mayil immediately stands up from her seat and tells him while raging at him.
"How can you ask this much when you have bought these shares at a very cheap price? You broke all the share price, and in just 120 crores, you bought all the company's shares, and you are currently asking me for 00 crores for our only Kaushik otherwise, I'm leaving from here."
After saying her words, Mayil picks up her purse and starts leaving from there. Mrityunjay is sitting in his place without moving an inch, and as soon as she is about to leave after opening the door, the voice of Mrityunjay stops her at the same spot.
"Miss Mayil Kaushik, You have completely forgotten your life of years. You don't even know that your mother passed away three years ago. For the last years, all your companies have faced huge losses. Your father made you the CEO of the company without your knowledge. The CEO of a company is about to sink completely right now. If anything happens, then all the responsibility is yours and not anyone else's."
After listening to his words, Mayil's breath gets stuck. She stands there, thinking something. Mayil's mind is completely numb after listening to his words because he has come to know her very well. Her father had hidden the fact from everyone that Mayil had lost her memory.
Mrityunjay is only looking at her back; she is frozen at her spot.
"We need a good conversation, MAHI."
Hearing her nickname in Mrityunjay's mouth, Mayil turns to look at the one who is still looking at him. He gestured for her to sit back.
After some time, she closes the door and sits in front of him again. Mrityunjay's eyes are only on Mayil. She doesn't like these eyes at all. But I don't know why these eyes do not feel so uncomfortable.
Mayil has to protect her company by any means possible. She gathers all her courage and looks towards Mrityunjay, who is looking only at her. I don't know why, despite shouting so loudly, he doesn't seem to be angry at her at all. She tells him in her stuttering voice.
"Look, sir… I don't know what you meant, but I feel like you tried to buy me?."
"Then I am sorry if you feel so."
Mrityunjay suddenly apologized to her, due to which she felt a lot of relief. She is getting a lot of comfort from the fact that he was not talking about buying her or insulting her because of her vulnerability. But what was meant by him is that she also wants to know that his eyes are only on her. He starts without wasting a second.
"My name is Mrityunjay Sisodia... I am 31 years old. My parents died in my childhood. My uncle has brought me up. All my education has been done in London. After the death of my maternal uncle, now I live with my only aunt."
Mayil looks at him strangely, as she does not understand why he is telling her all this while she is here to discuss his business. Seeing Mayil's confusing face, Mrityunjay's face was also delighted with a smile. He immediately sat on the ground in front of her and told her.
"Seeing any other girl apart from you, I never felt that I should settle into my life."
But Mayil's mind has quickly gone elsewhere.

"This is completely an open offer, so marry me. I will get your company into exactly the same position. The position it was in before, because you are the CEO and not your father... I want to do all this for you, not for anyone trying to understand my point. Many things between us need to be discussed."
Mayil is unable to even sit in front of him because she feels that his eyes are looking not only into her eyes but also into her soul. She frees her hand and immediately runs away. Mrityunjaya remains sitting there; he knows that Mayil is not expecting this, and she is upset by these words. But he could not control himself at all, as he was close to her.
Ayaan immediately comes to the cabin, asking all the bodyguards to take care of Mayil, while Mrityunjay is still sitting on the same spot on the ground. where he was sitting when Mayil left. Ayaan sits close to him and just silently stares at him.
"What do you think Jagdish tried to do after making Mayil the CEO of his sinking companies because everyone knows that this company has been in debt for 3 years?"
"Sir, I wanted to tell you a very important thing. I don't know if I shouldn't even say this or not right now, but I think you should know."
Mrityunjay sits on the sofa and gestures to Ayaan to sit on the front sofa. Ayaan sits there silently. First of all, Mrityunjay lifts the glass and looks at Ayaan while drinking water from it. Ayaan understands his gesture, so he immediately replies to him.
"Sir, don't worry; apart from Mam's bodyguards, about 20 of our bodyguards are with Mam; she will be absolutely safe until she adequately reaches her home."
Mrityunjay is feeling very relaxed after hearing everything, but he is a bit angry with himself. Seeing Mayil in front of him, he lost his control and suddenly told her that he did not want to do it now. But at this time, his thinking is going somewhere else, due to which perhaps he suddenly said everything. He gestures to Ayaan to speak further. Ayaan immediately takes out some list on his mobile and tells him to show it.
"Jagdish had booked a private jet 4 days ago; if Jagdish doesn't hospitalize, then there is a board meeting after 4 days where the new CEO would also have to come, so would Jagdish himself run away from here? wanted to leave everything to ma'am."

In such a situation, if you have to buy the whole company, then ma'am has no idea of returning the money. In such a situation, ma'am is going to get caught in a legal problem in a very bad way."
After listening to one thing, Mrityunjay's anger is increasing. He clenches his fists in anger and says this to Ayaan.
"Has Jagdish done this to trap Mahi from all around? I do not understand why this man says that he loves Mahi more than his life. Mahi is his only daughter. Then why is he doing this to her?"
"I have no idea, sir, but ma'am is in trouble."
