Chapter Thirty-Three

Wyatt

I can’t keep my eyes off Blair. When that scum asked if we were sure our ladies were safe, I can’t even describe how I felt. When I looked at the cameras and saw her pacing but safe- the relief was short-lived. I heard Kade yell, and my head jerked up when he threw his fist into the wall. He flung his phone at me, and I caught it watching the video unfold. He didn’t hire extra security at their new place because he thought she was safe. We all did. They wanted me to suffer for whatever reason, and in that, means Blair. But we should have realized, to get to Blair, Elena would be next after her mother.

I watch the four men kill the security with ease. They had to have been watching the house to know the area like they seem to. One takes the kitchen and kills that man, and the other roams the house looking for her. But she came to them. She was calling for Kade and her screams, we have to fucking find her.

We are running over ideas when Kade’s phone rings. The look on his face- it’s like he’s seen a ghost. Elena’s number is the one calling. Pit grabs it and puts it on speaker.

“What do you want?” Pits voice is calm but deadly.

The laughter on the other end sends a chill down my spine. The screaming, a girl. Elena .

“What the fuck do you want?” Kade screams into the phone.

A video request pops up and he clicks it. Blair has tears running down her face. She goes to speak but I place my hand over her mouth, “Don’t you fucking dare speak,” I threaten.

I feel her hot tears running over my hand while her body shakes with sobs.

I look over, blocking Blair's view of the phone. The video is of Elena, naked and tied to the ceiling. She has gashes all around her thighs.

“Again,” the man on the phone says.

We watch a man circle her and then whip her with a thin leather belt, causing her to scream. Blair struggles now and it takes everything in me to hold her back. “If I have to suffocate you to get you to calm the fuck down, I will.” I place my thumb and pointer finger next to her nose, and she desperately shakes her head.

Kade growls and he stands up with the phone. “Give me Blair and I’ll let her go. Better hurry though, I have some guys that can’t wait to sink into her. Paid a pretty penny too. You have until two a.m.” The man hangs up, and Kade throws his phone across the room.

Kade looks at the clock, “That’s one fucking hour! It’s already one in the damn morning!” He throws his head back and tries to calm his breathing.

I let go of Blair and she stands up, “You have to let me go!” She screams and I stand up now, getting in her face.

“I don’t fucking think so!”

She cries and throws her fist in my chest, “She is my everything! My person! Let me save her!” Tears run down her perfectly beautiful face, and I grab ahold of her.

“No!” I pull her to me, and she collapses to the floor.

Kade's phone dings again and Pit goes to pick it up .

“It’s a photo and an address,” Blair looks up, and before anyone can think she grabs the phone and looks at the photo. She instantly gags, “No! Oh god no!” She shrieks and I snatch the phone from her hands.

I slide down to the floor and pull her against my chest. Kade looks over at me and the rage and helplessness I see in his eyes makes my own rage bubble. Blair takes a deep breath and then she goes silent.

“We have to fucking get to her. Call for backup, everything we fucking have, Pit! Every fucking person is going with us to get my girl back!” Pit nods and starts making the calls.

Ten minutes later, Blair is no longer shaking, her eyes keep darting back and forth and I’m afraid she might be losing her mind- I wouldn’t blame her after the night she’s had. Shit after the last five weeks she’s had.

The guys get up and make their way to the door when she suddenly whips her head around, “Wait!”

They stop and look at her, “I know this place, and I know a way you can get to her safely. We used to visit it as kids, let me see the address again.”

She fumbles around and then hands the phone back over, “Rose Hill Cemetery,” she says with a smile on her face.

“They are in the church that has four entrances to the eye, but one nobody knows about. That is how you get to her. It looks like they are holding her in the funeral area, which is one door to the right from the entrance- we found when we were snooping. It’s underground and it’s hidden from the public. She’ll be there and it will be your only chance to save her.” She looks directly at Kade who looks speechless.

“Trust me. Please trust me.” She bites her lip.

Kade takes a deep breath and nods, “Show me. ”

She jumps into action, pulls up the map, and shows us exactly where to go. It’s simple and seems almost too easy.

“You need to have your men go in from all sides, but you and Wyatt need to go through here,” she points to the entrance, “let them be the distraction and while you get inside. Go through the first door and then the next right door is where she is. Do you see this?” she points to the stage looking alter behind Elena. We both nod, “The entrance is behind this wall. It opens into a hallway, that is where you will enter and that is how you save her.” Kade looks at her and then back to me and then back to her. He drops the phone, reaches over, and pulls her into the biggest hug. She freezes for a moment but then wraps her arms around his neck.

“We will get her out,” he looks her in the eyes, and she sniffles.

“They will have guys around the area, and lots of places to hide there, so please, please be careful.” She wipes her eyes.

He grabs the phone and glances at her one more time before taking off.

Her big brown eyes hold so much emotion right now, but the most present one is fear. “Wyatt,” she whispers.

“I’ll be back.” She bites her lip as I come to stand in front of her.

I grab her chin and make her look at me, “I. Will. Be. Back.”

“I’m scared,” her words cut through me like a knife, and I pull her into a hug and whisper, “I’ll always come back to you.”

I lean down and capture her lips, she kisses me back eagerly. “Please, stay here. Do not answer your phone. I don’t care who it’s from. Do not leave this house and I am putting it in lockdown.” She nods without fighting me on it .

I kiss her forehead and head off towards the door. “Twenty men surround this house, ten men inside and ten at the gate. Anyone touches her and you fucking die.” I look back at her and wink and she rolls her eyes but blushes.

I leave and lock the house down with my phone. I take a deep breath, leaving her is pure torture. Especially, when the threat is still out there. But Kade needs me right now. I push everything from my mind and race down to the car.

“She’ll be ok,” Kade says, and I nod.

“We will get to her before… before anything else can happen.” Kade clenches his jaw but doesn’t say anything.
