Ruhanika's POV
How could Mrs. Rajvansh do this. She was saying something about dirty blood and revealing to people. She knows Shivanshji's mother and father. Why would Shivanshji's papa bring him home if his wife did not like Shivanshji.
"Ruhi beta, yeh kaise hua beta?" I turned around when I heard the voice to see it was Dadi's voice.
(Ruhi, how did this happen?)
"Kuch nahi Dadi, w-woh galti se ho g-gaya." I replied to Dadi as there was no point in hiding my wound as she had already saw it.
(Nothing Grandma, it happened by mistake.)
"Dhyaan kaha tha beta. Kitna jal gaya hai yeh. Aao main dawai laga du."Dadi said with a light scolding.
(Where was your concentration dear. So much burn you got. Come I'll do first aid.)

Author's POV,
At night,
Ruhanika was going towards her room when Mrs. Rajvansh and Chachiji came there.
Chachi," Ruhanika, kamre mein ja rahi ho? Maine suna subah tumhara hath Jal gaya tha. Kaisi hai ab chot?"
(Ruhanika, you are going in your room? I heard that your hand got burned? How is your hand?)
Mrs. Rajvansh," Kaisi hogi? Vaise tumne kisi ko bataya to nahin na ki tumhe chot kaise lagi? Kisi ko batana bhi mat agar apne pati ki ijjat bachana chahti ho."
(How would it be? Btw you did not tell anyone how you got hurt right? Don't tell anyone if you want to maintain your husband's dignity.)
Mrs. Rajvansh said the words as if telling a secret.
(Huh, as if she is not the one to hurt our Ruhi.)
Ruhanika did not reply anything. Surekha suddenly grabbed ruhanika's jaw very tightly and spoke,"Kisi ke samne munh kholne ke bare mein sochana bhi mat varna kya hoga yeh tum janna bhi nahin chahogi."
(Don't try to open your mouth in front of anyone otherwise what will happen to you that you will not even like to imagine.)
By saying so she left Ruhanika's jaw. It left imprint on Ruhanika's face. It was hard for Ruhanika to control her tears.
After that the two older ladies left. Ruhanika was left alone standing in the corridor. She quickly rushed to her room. After reaching the room, she freshened up and went to sleep on the sitting area near the window.
Ruhanika's POV
Hey Mahadev, aisa mere sath hi kyon ho raha hai.
(Oh God, why does it happen to me only?)
Next couple of days passed by. It has been a week since Shivansh ji left. Mrs Rajvansh and Chachi ji did some harsh things with me. They would speak rudely, humilate Shivansh ji and would try to harm me. Chachi ji even once threw a vase towards me. I did dodge it but it was scattered on the floor. She then made me walk on the broken vase pieces, it was very painful I still have those cuts on my feet.
I don't even know what to do. Hey Mahadev please kuch aisa kijiye ki meri sari pida khatam ho jaye.
(Oh God please do something so that these problems end.)

Author's POV
It was evening time in the Rajvansh mansion, a lady can be seen pouring some oil on the staircase. After sometime Ruhanika was about to descend the stairs. While descending the stairs Ruhanika's leg slipped on the oil spill.

A plane just landed on the Udaipur Airport and handsome young man came out of the airport. He came and sat in the car waiting for him outside the airport and the man was none other than Shivansh Singh Rajvansh.
Shivansh's POV
Today after a week I am back to India. In this 7 days, Ruhanika was the only one occupying my mind. I had thought that staying away from Ruhanika and my house would distract my mind from Ruhanika but I was not able to get her out of my mind under any circumstances. Even during the working time my mind was occupied by her.
This time away from her has made me realise that what I feel for her is something much more than attraction. I know what I feel for her but I cannot work on that. I will try my best to protect her but for that I need to keep her away from me.
Main apne Papa aur apne Ammi ko to kho chuka hun. Upar wale ne meri Pari ko mujhse chhin liya, maine woh bhi sehen kar liya lekin ab main apni Ruhh ko nahin kho sakta.
(I have lost my parents. God snatched my Pari from me as well, I accepted that as well but I won't be able to lose my Ruhh.)
Yes, meri Ruhh. She has really become a part of my soul.
Meri Ruh ko mere kale saayen se dur rakhna hoga. Main apni manhusiyat ka saya bhi Ruhh per nahin padane dunga.
(I have to keep my Ruhh away from my evil presence. I won't even let the shadow of my evil presence be near her.)
I reached Rajvansh mansion in about an hour. But I was not a ready to witness the scene unfolding there. Ruh had slipped from the stairs. I went to her but it was too late. She had fallen from the stairs. As soon as I reached near her, I saw her head was bleeding profusely. She was halfway unconscious.

Author's POV
Shivansh,"Aankhen kholo Ruhh. Dekho main yahi hun. Main tumhe kuch nahin hone dunga."
(Open your eyes Ruhh. See I am here. I won't let anything happen to you.)
Shivansh quickly pick up Ruhanika in his arms and ran towards the front gate. He quickly asked the driver to take out the car. He said on the back seat with Ruhanika in his lap.
Shivansh,"Ruhh, bas thodi der aur, hum hospital pahunch hi gaye. Aankhen khuli rakho Ruhh, please Janna. Aankhen Khuli Rakho bus hum pahunch hi gaye. Main hun na tumhare saath please Jaan."
(Ruhh, just few minutes, we have reached. Try to keep your eyes open please Ruhh. Just few minutes. I am with you Love please.)
"Shiv.....an...sh..ji.." While saying this Ruhanika tried to touch Shivansh's face.
As Ruhanika touched Shivansh's cheek and wiped his tears, he realised that he was crying.
They soon reached the hospital. Doctors and nurses took Ruhanika into the emergency ward. Shivansh was sitting outside the ward on a bench.
While Ruhanika was under treatment in the hospital ward, Rajveer and Aarav reached there.
Rajveer," Bhai, bhabhi ko chot kaise lagi? Driver ka call aaya tha ki aap bhabhi ko leke hospital aaye hain. Aur bhabhi ko sar se bahut jyada khoon beh raha tha."
(Bhai, how did Bhabhi get hurt? Driver called telling you brought bhabhi here. And she was bleeding heavily.)
Shivansh," Main jab ghar aaya to maine dekha ki Ruhanika sidiyon se fisal gayi thi."
(When I entered the house I saw that Ruhanika had slipped from the stairs.)
Aarav,"Bhai, doctor ne kya kaha?"
(Bhai, what did doctor say?)
Shivansh,"Abhi kuch nahi kaha. Ruhh ki treatment chal rahi hai."
(He has not said anything. Ruhh's treatment is going on.)

After half an hour, doctor came out.
Doctor,"She is out of danger. But..." The doctor knew that they were royals so he was a bit hesitant to speak.
Shivansh,"par kya doctor. Jaldi boliye. Meri Ruhh thik toh hai na."
(But what doctor? Speak fast. My Ruhh is fine right?)
Doctor," Ji woh thik hai par, girne ki wajah se unke sar par chot lagi hai aur unke left hand aur pair dono mein sprain aaya hai. Lekin iske alawa, unki dressing karte waqt humnein dekha ki unke right palm par jalne k nishan hai. Unka haath bohot bure tarike se jal gaya hai. Aur unke sole pe kach se lage cuts bhi hai. Aur woh sirf first aid kiye hue hai, proper dressing bhi nahi hai? Kya woh pehle kabhi gir gai thi ya aisa kuch hai?"
(She is fine but due to the fall, her head is injured and there is sprain on left leg and hand. But also there are burnt marks on her hand. And there are cut marks on her soles. Amd there is only basic first aid, proper dressing was also not done. Did she fall down somewhere before?)
Shivansh was not able to grasp that how could this happen to Ruhanika.
Rajveer,"Yeh aap kya keh rahe hai doctor. Cuts!?"
(What are you saying doctor? Cuts?!)
Doctor,"Ji Sir, Aur woh kafi naye lag rahe hai. Jaise 1-2 din purane ho."
(Yes sir, and they are fresh. Like just a day or two old.)
Shivansh,"Tum dono toh the na ghar pe. Phir Ruhh k saath yeh sab kaise?"
(You both were at home then how did this happen with Ruhh?)
Aarav,"Bhai, woh jalne wala toh bhabhi ne kaha tha ki woh khana banate waqt khud hi lag gaya tha."
(Bhai, that burn, bhabhi said that it was from cooking.)
Doctor,"Nahi sir, khana banate waqt jalne ka nishan aur yeh alag hai. Inka pura palm jala hai jaise ki haath kisi garam cheeze par ya toh aag k nazdik rakha ho."
(No sir, the burn that happens due to cooking and this are different. Her whole palm is burnt, like it was kept on a hot thing or near fire.)
Shivansh,"Ho kya raha tha jab main nahi tha yaha pe tab? Tum dono toh the na yaha." Shivansh said and punched the wall in anger.
(What the he'll was happening here while I was away? You both were here.)
Rajveer,"Bhai hum din mein office hote the aur jab raat mein bhabhi se milte the toh unko dekh k aisa lagta hi nahi tha ki unko koi chot lagi ho ya aisa kuch."
(Bhai, we were in the office during the day and when we met bhabhi in the evening she seemed fine. It never seemed that she was injured )
Aarav,"Ha bhai, bhabhi toh roz shaam ko humein haste-muskurate milte the."
(Yes Bhai, bhabhi greeted us with a smile every evening.)
Shivansh ignored their words and asked the doctor,"kya main Ruhanika se mil sakta hu?"
(Can I meet Ruhanika?)
Doctor,"Sure."
Shivansh immediately went inside the room and found Ruhanika lying on the bed. As soon as Ruhanika saw him, she tried to sit but hissed when she felt dizzy.
Shivansh,"Aaram se."
(Careful.)
Shivansh adjusted her bed to a comfortable sitting position.
Ruhanika,"Aap kab aaye?"
(When did you come?)
Shivansh,"Jab tum stairs pe se gir rahi thi. Dhyaan kaha the tumhara, aise kaise gir sakti ho?"
(When you fell from the stairs. Where was your mind, how can you fall down?)
Ruhanika,"Main jaan k nahi giri. Sidiyon pe kuch gira tha. Waise aap k-kaise hai?"
(I did not fall intentionally. There was something on the stairs. Btw how are you?)
Shivansh,"Yeh toh mujhe tumhe puchna chahiye. Doctor keh raha tha ki tumhari body pe bohot saare chot hai? Aur yeh haath kaise jala?"
(I should be the one asking you that. Doctor was saying there are many injuries on your body. And how did these hands got burned?)
Ruhanika,"Yeh woh kh-khana bana-banate waqt.."
(Actually during cooking....)
Shivansh did not say anything just passed her a hard glare.
Ruhanika mumbled a small sorry while staring down at her hands.

Shivansh's POV
She again lied to me about her burnt hand. I was about to confront her but there was a knock on the door. Raj and Aarav came in the room along with Aaru.
Aaru was crying. The four of them started talking while I took a seat on the sofa placed in the room.
I was scared to death when I saw her bleeding in my arms. I was scared to lose the love of my life. I know that sounds cliche but I cannot even explain how I feel about her.

After some time, Doctor came in the room.
Shivansh,"Doctor, kaise hai Ruhanika?"
(Doctor, how is Ruhanika?)
Doctor,"Sab kuch waise toh thik hi hai. Ruhanikaji aapko kaisa lag raha hai abhi. Kahi pe pain, kuch uncomfortable lag raha hai?"
(Everything seems fine. How are you feeling Mrs. Ruhanika? Any pain or discomfort?)
Ruhanika,"Mujhe sar mein achha nahi lag raha. Ajeeb sa lag raha hai. Aisa lag raha hai ki main apne hi sar k wajan se gir jaungi."
(My head feels weird. I feel that I will fall dur to weight of my head.)
Doctor chuckled a little,"Aapko lightheaded lag raha hai Ruhanikaji. Aisa hota hai jab sar pe zor se kuch lagta hai toh. Sister, inhe thik se leta do. Waise toh sab thik hai, kal ghar jaa sakte hai par 3 din tak bilkul bed rest aur uske baad bhi haath-pair thik hone mein 1 week lagega."
(You are feeling light headed Mrs. Ruhanika. These happens due to head injury. Nurse, make her comfortable. Everything is fine, you can go home tomorrow, but bedrest for 3 days and the sprain will recover in a week )
I nodded at doctor, taking notes. I also saw how the nurse adjusted Ruh's position so that she does not feel lightheaded. The nurse made her sit in a position such thather head gets support but also she is not completely lying down.
The three of them left for home after some time.
I sat beside Ruhh's bed.
Shivansh,"Kuch chahiye toh mujhe kehna, hmm?"
(Tell me if you want something.)
Ruhanika,"Muj-mujhe pa-pani....-"
(Water...)
I cut her mid sentence when I knew she needed water. I slowly made her drink water.
Shivansh,"Pani mangne mein bhi hichkichahat"
(Why are you so uncomfortable in asking for water?)
She did not say anything.
Author's POV
After some time, Aarav came to drop dinner for both of them.
Shivansh,"Chalo tumhe soup pila deta hun main."
(I will make you have the soup.)
Ruhanika,"M-main kh-khud pilungi."
(I will drink on my own.)
Shivansh,"Kaise? Ek haath jala hua hai aur dusre mein patti hai? Main pila deta hun. Pila dun?"
(How? Hands are burned and there is sprain as well. I will feed. May I?)
Ruhanika nodded looking at Shivansh.
Shivansh slowly fed her every bite. All the time Ruhanika was just staring at his face.
Ruhanika's POV
Hey Mahadev, yeh kitne achhe hai. Kitna khayal rakh rahe hai mera. Mujhe aaj tak kisi ne apne haatho se khana nahi khilaya. Mahadev, main inse prem karne lagi hu. Aap inka humesha dhyaan rakhna aur inhe saari khushiyan dena. Inki jo bhi ichha ho aap puri kar dijiyega, aaj se ab yehi meri eklauti ichha hai aapse.
(Oh God, he is so nice. He takes so much care of me. No one has ever fed me with their hands. God, I have fallen in love with him. Please take care of him and fulfill all of his wished, these is my one and only wish from you.)

Author's POV
Unknowingly, as Ruhanika was thinking all this, a tear slipped from her eyes. Shivansh was quick to notice it.
Shivansh,"Kya hua Ruhanika? Ro kyu rahi ho? Kahi pe dard ho raha hai kya?"
(Kya hua Ruhanika? Why are you crying? Do you have pain?)
Ruhanika shook her head.
Shivansh,"Toh phir kya hua?"
(Then what happened?)
Ruhanika,"Aap bohot achhe hai!!"
(You are so nice!!)
Shivansh,"Toh ismein rone ki kya baat hai?"
(Then what is there to cry?)
Ruhanika,"Aap bohot achhe hai. Aap mera itna khayal rakh rahe hai, kitne pyaar se baat kar rahe hai. Mujhe aap bohot achhe lagte hai."
(You are so nice. You take care of me, talk so sweetly. I like you very much.)
Shivansh,"Hmm. Dekho Ruhanika, main bhale hi tumse thik se baat kar raha hun aur tumhe chot lagi hai isiliye tumhara khayal rakh raha hun, par main kabhi bhi tumhe woh rishta nahi de paunga jo ek pati apni patni ko deta hai. Main tumhe kabhi bhi apne kareeb nahi aane dunga."
(Look, Ruhanika, even though I take care for you and behave nice with you, but I will never be able to give this marriage a chance. I will never let you come near me.)
Ruhanika,"Koi baat nahi. Aap abhi jaise hai waise hi rahenge tab bhi mere liye bohot hai."
(It's okay. If you will be like this with me for whole life then I dotn want anything more.)
Shivansh,"Waise abhi yeh baat karte waqt kyun nahi stammer kiya tumne. Kahi tum unmein se toh nahi jo log juth bolte waqt stammer karte hai?"
(Btw, you did not stammer right now. You are not of then, who stammer while lying?)
Ruhanika,"Nahi nahi. Mujhe nahin pata kab par kabhi kabhi stammer karti hun aur kabhi kabhi nahin karti. Juth ka koi lena dena nahi hai isse."
(No no. I don't k own but sometimes I stammer and sometimes I don't. It has nothing to do with lying.)
Shivansh,"Okay."
After that Shivansh had his dinner and then he gave Ruhanika, her medicines. Then he made her sleep and the he himself came and slept on the sofa.

Next morning
The doctor came to check up on Ruhanika and gave a green signal to take Ruhanika home. Rajveer came to pick both of them.
Shivansh picked up Ruhanika in his arms and went to parking area where Rajveer had parked the car. Ruhanika had hid her face in Shivansh's chest due to shyness as everyone was staring at them in the corridor.
(Guys, bilkul Ek Villain wala scene. Meri one of the favourite movies hai.)
They soon reached Rajvansh Mansion. Shivansh brought Ruhanika in the living room and made her sit on the sofa. Dadu and Dadi asked Ruhanika about her health. Dadi asked a helper to bring a utensil filled with water. Dadi ne phir Ruhanika ki nazar utari guys.
After that Rajveer and Aarav came and sat on their knees in front of Shivansh and Ruhanika.
Rajveer,"Bhai, humein maaf kar dijiye. Humare hote hue bhabhi k saath yeh sab."
(Bhai, please forgive us. Bhabhi had to got through this in our presence.)
Just when Rajveer had said these words, Mrs. Rajvansh and Chachaiji came there.
And Mrs. Rajvansh's voice boomed in the hall,"Is ladke ke samne ghutno pe kyun baithe ho? Utho."
(You don't have to kneel I frowned of them boy. Get up.)
