Chapter 24

It has been 1 month since Shivansh took Ruhanika to their penthouse and 6 months since their marriage. Both of them are very happy and content in each other's company.
Ruhanika's cafe is going well. Both Shivansh and Ruhanika are working together to grow the cafe. They have made insta page for the cafe, they occasionally give ads in newspaper. The cafe business is going well as Shivansh's business mind was involved in it. He choose the place for cafe near a college so that college students come there frequently.
At the cafe, Ruhanika was lost in deep thoughts at the counter when Shivansh nudged her.
Shivansh,"Kya hua Ruhh? Kya soch rahi ho?"
Ruhanika shook her head and passed him a smile and spoke,"Kuch nahi Shiv. Bus aise hi."
Shivansh nodded and went away to take order for a customer.
Ruhanika looked at Shivansh and thought,"Aapka birthday aa raha hai Shiv, usi k baare mein soch rahi hu. Aarav bata raha tha ki aap apni birthday celebrate nahi karte par main chahti hu ki hum aapki birthday celebrate kare. Main us din ko celebrate karna chahti hu jab aap iss duniya mein aaye the. Aap nahi hote toh mera kya hota Shiv."
Ruhanika was planning for Shivansh's birthday that is day after tomorrow. She has decided to surprise him at 12 o'clock.
Next day.
At 6pm.
Ruhanika,"Shiv!?"
Shivansh,"Bolo Ruhh."
Ruhanika,"Shiv, main abhi ghar chali jau?"
Shivansh,"Kya hua Ruhh, tumhari tabiyat thik nahi?"
Ruhanika,"Nahi Shiv. Main thik hu. Woh mere periods aa gaye hai toh aap aaj cafe band karke aa jaayega main abhi ghar chali jau."
Shivansh,"Thik hai Ruhh. Kuch kaam ho toh mujhe call karna. Aur ghar pohoch k phone karlena mujhe."
Ruhanika nodded and kissed his cheek,"Bbye."
Ruhanika,'Sorry Shiv, jhuth nahi bolna chahiye par kya karu.' She giggled at her thoughts and reached home.
Ruhanika stopped at a florist and bought, a beautiful bouquet for Shivansh.
As soon as, Ruhanika reached home, she got to baking a cake for her Shiv's b'day. After baking the cake and decorating it, she kept it in frezzer to chill. Then she went to rearrange and decorate the room, such that when Shivansh comes from cafe he won't notice.
At 8pm,
Rajveer, Parinidhi, Aarav and Aarohi were sitting with Ruhanika in the living room deciding Shivansh's b'day.
Ruhanika,"Hum Shiv ki b'day ghar par hi celebrate karenge. Bus hum ghar wale. Aur Raj bhaiya, kya hum Dadu-Dadi ko yaha bula sakte hai?"
Rajveer,"Ha Bhabhi, yeh idea achha hai. Main Dadu-Dadi se baat karke unhe yaha bula leta hu. Aur waise bhi Bhai apna birthday aaj tak nahi manaya. Aapke aane k baad aaj saalo baad manayenge. "
Ruhanika nodded and Parinidhi spoke,"Bhabhi, hum Bhaiya ka fabourite khana banayenge aur ek sundar sa cake le aayenge."
Aarohi,"Arey Pari Bhabhi, cake toh ban chuka hai. Fridge mein hai. Kyun Ruhi Bhabhi."
Ruhanika blushed and spoke,"Woh maine Shiv ko raat ko surprise karne k liye banaya hai. Aur Pari, main kal pura din Shiv ki pasand ka hi khana banaungi. Aur dinner hum saath mein hi banayenge."
Parinidhi,"Bhabhi, khana kal chefs bana denge. Aap bhaiya ko bahar le jaana taaki hum yaha party plan kar sake."
Ruhanika nodded thinking her idea to be good. Just then Aarav voiced out,"Ansh Bhai aa gaye."
Ruhanika saw Shivansh coming from the cafe. She went to the kitchen and brought him water.
Parinidhi,"Bhaiya aap fresh ho jaiye, phir sab saath mein dinner lar lete hai."
Shivansh nodded and took Ruhanika's hand in his and started walking towards their room ignoring the hooting and teasing coming from his siblings.
After freshening up, all of them had dinner and retired to their rooms.
In the bedroom at 10 o'clock.
Shivansh layed on the bed and started waiting for Ruhanika to join him.
Ruhanika soon joined him after freshening up.
Shivansh,"Ruhh movie dekhe?"
Ruhanika,"Ji. Konsi?"
Shivansh,"Dekhe toh. Main laptop leke aata hu."
Ruhanika held his hand to stop him from going and spoke," Main leke aati hu." And went to bring the laptop.
Soon, the movie started. Ruhanika held Shivansh's hand and started playing with it. Shivansh soon dozed off on Ruhanika's shoulder as he was tired from whole day. Ruhanika was tired as well but her excitement for Shivansh's b'day didn't let her sleep. She shut off the laptop, but did not move much letting Shivansh sleep on her shoulder. She shifted his position to a more comfortable one and ran her hands in his hair.
Soon, Ruhanika saw the time- 11:40. She stood up from the bed. She quickly went into the closet and changed into a short black sexy dress which Shivansh had bought her to try but she had never worn it in fron of him, feeling Shy.
Ruhanika quickly fixed her hair letting them fall freely on her back just how Shivansh likes. She then brought the bouquet and cake from downstairs and placed them on the coffee table in the room along with a gift she got him.
After completing the arrangements, Ruhanika checked the time, it was 11:58. She went besides Shivansh and gently shook him.
Ruhanika,"Shiv, uthiye na."
Shivansh,"Hmm, Ruhh sone do na."
Ruhanika,"Shiv, jaldi uthiye na pleaseeee."
Shivansh sleepily sat up on the bed.
Shivansh,"Kyw hua Ruhh?"
Ruhanika,"Happy Birthday Shiv.."
Shivansh,"Huhh.? Thank you Ruhh. Mujhe toh yaad hi nahi tha."
Ruhanika,"Par mujhe toh yaad tha na.. Chaliye ab."
She brought the cake for him and placed it in front of him. 'Happy B'day Shiv' was written on the cake. Ruhanika had brought an electric candle for Shivansh.
Shivansh cut the cake while Ruhanika sang 'Happy Birthday' song. Shivansh fed the first bite to Ruhanika. She then fed him a bite and applied a little on his nose while giggling.
Shivansh held her face and rubbed his nose with her, covering her nose with cake. Both of them giggled in happiness.
Ruhanika,"Achha, Shiv , ab gifts ki baari."
Shivansh,"Gifts? Ruhh, ye sab....?"
Ruhanika did not let him complete and kept her lips on his, shutting him up. After pulling apart, Ruhanika spoke,"Kitna bolte hai aap Shiv?"
Shivansh pulled her towards himself by her waist, while Ruhanika kept her hands around his neck and he spoke,"Agar pata hota ki tum aise chup karvaogi toh kitna bolta main Ruhh."
Shivansh,"Ruhh, tumhe pata hai tum is dress mein kitni sundar lag rahi ho. You are looking really gorgeous, my Love." He spoke the last part in a French accent.
Ruhanika blushed and pushed him on his chest, seperating herself from him and went towards the couch. She picked up the bouquet and came towards Shivansh. She was going down on her knees to give him bouquet but Shivansh held her shoulders and stopped her shaking his head in no.
Ruhanika smiled brightly, and handing him the bouquet spoke,"Shiv, aaj ka din mere liye bohot special hai. Aaj ki din aap is duniya mein aaye the. Is baat k liye maine Ammi aur Papa dono ko thank you bola hai aur Mahadev ko bhi. Aapko pata nahi hai Shiv, aap mere liye kitne khaas hai. Aap meri zindagi mein tab aaye the jab mujhe kisi cheez ki umeed hi nahi thi. Maine ne soch liya tha ki meri zindagi shaadi k baad bhi waisi hi hogi jaise usse pehle thi. Lekin aapne mujhe iitna pyaar, iitni izzat di hai Shiv ki main aapko jitna thank you bolu utna kum hai. I Love You Shiv. Happy Birthday. Aur meri zindagi mein aane k liye Thank You."
Shivansh held Ruhanika close to his heart and pecked her forehead letting his lips linger there more than a minute. He broke the silence and spoke,"I Love You Ruhh. Aur Thank You meri zindagi mein aame k liye. Tumhare aane se pehle to sirf main Jee raha tha, saans chal rahi thi. Lekin maine zindagi k maine tumhare aane k baad samjhe hai. Meri puri jaan tumhare andar basti hai Ruhh. Tum sach mein meri Ruhh ban gayi ho."
Ruhanika smiled and spoke,"Achha Shiv, kuch aur bhi hai."
Without giving Shivansh a chance to speak, Ruhanika dashed into the clost and brought out 2 gift boxes. She handed him those and asked him to open.
Shivansh,"Ruhh, Do do gift?"
Ruhanika,"Shhhh, gift kholiye. Aur agar ek aur baar aapne kaha na ki iski zaroorat nahi thi toh main aapse baat nahi karungi. Phir manate rehna apni birthday naraz patni k saath."
Shivansh chuckled and opened the gifts.
The first gift comtained a silver bracelet with 'Shiv' and 'Ruhh' engraved on it.
Shivansh,"Ruhh, yeh bohot achha hai. Ab pehna bhi do."
Ruhanika secured the bracelet around Shivansh's right hand.
Shivansh then opened the second gift. It contained a delicate glass rose with 'I Love You Shiv' engraved on it.
Shivansh,"Yeh dono gifts aur yeh bouquet, teeno mujhe bohot pasand aaye Ruhh. Thank you. And I Love You."
Ruhanika,"I Love You Shiv. Chaliye ab so jaate hai. Mujhe subah jaldi uthna hai."
Shivansh,"Aise kaise Ruhh. Birthday celebrate karte hai na." He threw her a playful wink at the end leaving Ruhanika blushing.

Hehe, guys u know what happened.
Next morning,
Shivansh slowly opened his eyes to see the most beautiful view of his life, Ruhanika cuddled up to him, hiding her face in his chest sleeping. He kissed her forehead and stayed still to not disturb her sleep.
After half an hour, Ruhanika woke up. She saw Shivansh already awake and gazing at her.
Ruhanika kissed Shivansh on his lips and spoke,"Happy Birthday Shiv aur Good Morning."
Shivansh returned the gesture with a smile.
Ruhanika started getting up from the bed when Shivansh caged her in his arms.
Ruhanika,"Shiv, uthne dijiye na. Mujhe bohot kaam hai."
Shivansh,"Kya kaam. Aaj ka din toh mere liye hona chahiye na?"
Ruhanika,"Meri puri zindagi aapki hai Patidevji, ek din kya."
Shivansh,"Pagal... Achha toh batao kya kaam hai."
Ruhanika,"Aaj aapka birthday hai toh mujhe mandir jaana hai, phir aapke liye special breakfast banana hai aur phir aapke saath ghumne jaana hai."
Shivansh,"Arey baapre, itne saare kaam. Achha, chalo dono ready ho jaate hai. Main bhi tumhare saath mandir chalunga."
Ruhanika,"Sach!! Aap chalenge? Main abhi ready hoke aati hu."
Shivansh,"Saath mein ready hote hai na. Jaldi taiyaar ho jaayenge."
Ruhanika giggled at his words.
After some time, both the them got ready and came downstairs.
Ruhanika wore a dark red Anarkali suit with little golden work and Shivansh wore a plain red kurta with white pants.
"Happy Birthday Ansh Bhaiiiiii...." All the youngsters shouted as soon as Shivansh and Ruhanika came downstairs.
Shivansh passed them a smile and thanked them.
Then Chachaji came and spoke,"Happy Birthday Ansh beta."
Shivansh,"Thank You Chachu."
Parinidhi,"Waise Bhaiya-Bhabhi, aap kahi jaa rahe hai?"
Shivansh,"Haa, woh Ruhh ko mandir jaana tha toh hum wahi jaa rahe hai."
Aarav,"Bhabhi ko jaana hai? Aapko nahi jaana toh mat jao na, main Bhabhi ko leke chalta hun. Chalo Bhabhi."
Shivansh,"Kyun. Meri biwi hai, main leke jaunga."
Ruhanika,"Shiv, aapka birthday hai. Aaj toh mat daatiye Aarav ko. Aur Aarav, inka birthday hai isiliye mujhe mandir jaana hai toh main inhi ke saath jaungi."
After that, both of them reached the temple of Mahadev.
Ruhanika purchased Belpatra and Dhatura flowers for Mahadev and some flowers for Gauri Maiya. They entered the temple together. Shivansh held the end of Ruhanika's dupatta.
Both of them reached near the Shivling.
Ruhanika offered water, Belpatra and Dhatura flowers to Shivling, while Shivansh touched his hand to hers while she performed the puja.
After that, they took blessings of Gauri Maiyya and offered flowers to Mata. A huge diya was kept near the idol of Mata. Ruhanika took blessings from the diya in her hands and ran her hands over Shivansh's hair and followed the gesture with herself.
Ruhanika applied a tika of Bhasma to Shivansh who did the same with her. He then filled her hairline with kumkum kept near Bhasma.
They then took blessings from the panditji of temple.
After Puja, they came near the car. After sitting in the car,
Shivansh,"Ruhh, nashta bahar hi kar lete hai."
Ruhanika,"Par Shiv, mujhe aapke liye nashta banana tha."
Shivansh,"Main janta hu Ruhh, par abhi ghar jaayenge, tum banaogi, hum khayenge. Tumne subah se kuch nahi khaya, bhook lagi hogi na bachha."
Ruhanika,"Thik hai."
After that, they went to their cafe and had breakfast.
After breakfast, they reached Rajvansh Mansion. No one was in the living room. All of them must have went to their work, Shivansh thought.
Both of them entered their room. Ruhanika entered the closet amd came out with a few gifts, balancing them and herself.
Shivansh was shocked to see her,"Ruhh, yeh sab?"
Ruhanika,"Shiv, madad kijiye na."
Shivansh took the gifts from her and kept them on the bed.
Ruhanika,"Chaliye chaliye Shiv, gifts kholiye."
Shivansh,"Thank You Ruhh." And after kissing her lips, he started opening gifts.
The first gift had a casual light blue Shirt and white pants.
The second one had a beige polo tshirt and brown pants.
The third one had a wallet.
The fourth one had a belt.
The fifth one had 2 pair of socks, matching the two pair of outfits, she had bought.
And the sixth one had a watch.
Shivansh was about to speak something, when Ruhanika interuppted him.
Ruhanika,"Rukiye rukiye, aur hai abhi."
She dashed into the closet and brought out more gifts. To be exact 19 more gifts.
Shivansh opened the gifts and found various gifts in it.
Shivansh,"Thank You so much Ruhh. Par itne saare gifts."
Ruhanika,"Ab main aapke 28 birthdays par aapke saath nahi thi na toh yeh abhi tak 28 gifts the. Saare birthdays ka ek. Aaj ka gift aapko raat ko dungi."
Shivansh engulfed her in a tight hug.
Ruhanika,"Achha bataiye, saare gifts aapko achhe lage na."
Shivansh,"Bohot achhe hai Ruhh."
Ruhanika had bought the gifts from her savings over the years. The money she got for her own expenses from her parents, though it was small amount, she always saved some from it. The money she recieved in the wedding. And the money she had till now from the cafe earnings. This lifelong savings of her allowed her to buy Shivansh so many gifts.
But, let it be a secret from Shivansh. Ruhh won't like disclosing it.
Ruhanika,"Achha, ab ismein se ek pair choose karke ready ho jaiye na Shiv."
Shivansh,"Yeh wali." He held out the beige pair. Ruhanika nodded and both of them got ready and dressed.
Ruhanika complemented Shivansh in a short beige dress with small roses all over it. It was square necked and ended little below her knees. She paired them with beige heels.
Both of them spent the day together. They first went to see a little bit of city, then a late lunch and after that, they went to a park.
Park.
Ruhanika sat down on the grass and Shivansh layed down by keeping her head on her lap. Ruhanika started running her hands in his hair.
After sometime, the hand in his hair was removed and Shivansh could feel a little movement in his hair. He still did not open his eyes. After sometime, he heard a camera sound. He opened his eyes to find Ruhanika grinning at him. He showed him the photo, to which he chuckled.
Shivansh,"Yeh kya kiya Ruhh?"
Ruhanika,"Arey kitna sundar lag raha hai shiv. Maine reel mein dekha tha."
Ruhanika had plated small wild flowers in his hair making him look adorable.
Shivansh,"Achha ab meri baari. Tum ruko main aaya."
With that, Shivansh went away from there, leaving Ruhanika. After 20 minutes, he returned to see an angry Ruhanika.
Ruhanika,"Kaha chale gaye the aap? Abhi aaya kehle 20 minute kardi."
Shivansh,"Arey, gussa kyun kar rahi ho Ruhh. Yeh dekho maine kya laya?"
Ruhanika did not turn her face towards him. Shivansh took out a flower tiara which he brought for her handmade and kept it on her head.
Ruhanika touched it and grinned.
Ruhanika,"Shiv, yeh mere liye? Thank You Shiv." And she pecked his lips.
After that, Ruhanika saw the time was 5 o'clock, so she asked Shiv to go back.
They reached Rajvansh mansion but the hall was eerily quite when they entered. Soon, the lights turned on. Shivansh was shocked to see minimal decorations in the hall. He saw Dadu-Dadi in the hall. He went towards them and took their blessings.
Dadu-Dadi,"Happy Birthday Ansh beta."
Shivansh,"Thank You. Par aap dono yaha?"
Rajveer,"Bhai, yeh Bhabhi ka plan tha."
Shivansh smiled towards Ruhanika.
Aarohi,"Achha aap dono taiyaar ho jaiye. Jaldi."
Both of them went to get reqdy in their room. Shivansh got dressed in a two piece black suit looking as handsome as ever. He wore the watch gifted by Ruhanika and styled his hair.
Ruhanika wore a pink, grey and red dress, styling it with minimal jwellery and open hair with princess braids.
They reached the living room. Everyone was present there except for Mrs. Rajvansh. Surekha did not want to join but was told to by her husband.
As they reached downstairs, Aarav brought the cake out. It was a beautiful two-tier cake of white colour.
Shivansh cut the cake and fed the first bite to Ruhanika.
Ruhanika,"Shiv, pehle sabko toh..." She muttered so that only he can hear. But he ignored her and fed her the first bite. Then he asked the staff to cut the cake and give everyone.
After cake cutting, there was time for dinner, so all of them sat on the sofa.
Ruhanika and Shivansh were sitting side by side. All of them gave him presents except Ruhanika.
Aarohi,"Bhabhi, aapne kya gift diya Bhai ko?"
Shivansh,"Bohot saare gifts diye hai."
After that, they all had dinner and went to their room.
Shivansh was going to change when Ruhanika called him.
Ruhanika,"Shiv!!"
Shivansh,"Bolo Ruhh."
Ruhanika did not say anything but went in the closet and brought a gift.
Shivansh,"Ruhh, yeh ab?"
Ruhanika,"Pichle 28 birthday k gifts diye hai Shiv. Is birthday ka baaki hai."
She handed him the gift who opened it delicately.
The gift opened to reveal a photoframe. A customised photoframe with combine photo of Shivansh, Ruhanika, and his parents picture.
Shivansh's eyes got filled with tears.
Shivansh,"Ruhh, yeh best gift hai. Main tumhe Thank You bhi kaise kahu."
Ruhanika hugged him and rubbed his back,"Shhh!! Shant ho jaiye."
After some time, both the them got freshen up. And they went to sleep, not before loving each other.
