Chapter 17 I Remember Everything
"Xiao Miao, are you okay?"
The four of them surrounded me, asking with worry. I felt exhausted and closed my eyes again.
"Quick! Call the doctor—he passed out again!"
I saw Gu Xun's hand reaching for the call button and quickly pressed the call button first.
"Xiao Miao?"
"I'm fine."
I wanted to keep pretending my memory was messed up to avoid everything.
But no matter how much I ran, I had to face it eventually.
I looked at the three men in front of me.
The one who liked me, the one I liked, and the one I still hadn't broken up with. My voice trembled.
"I... I remember everything now."

I watched his head drop lower and lower. I couldn't hold back anymore.
"I don't hate you. Really!"
"Really?"
His eyes sparkled. He snapped his head up.
Seeing my attention pulled away by Liang Ye, Xu Muchi opened his mouth to speak—but Gu Xun beat him to it.
His cold, sharp face suddenly turned red around the eyes.
"You used to like me the most."
"The year I left, you held my hand so tight and chased the car until you fell."
"You said you'd wait for me to come back and marry me. I kept that in my heart the whole time. But when I returned, you'd forgotten it all and even had a Boyfriend."
"I admit I was selfish. I just wanted you to remember only me and like only me."
If it were me, and the person I made promises with as a kid forgot everything, I'd be upset too.
Guilt rose in my chest.
"I didn't forget. I remember every single thing about us clearly!"
"Really!"
I tried my best to explain.
Xu Muchi started speaking up too.
"I... I just went abroad for a while. When I came back, I saw you and Liang Ye tugging at each other at the door. I was furious."
"You even said you were marrying Xu Nian and had a kid. At that moment I had only one thought—to shut your nonsense-talking mouth with a kiss."
"So I followed you into the bathroom. I wanted to... punish you a little..."
