Chapter 26

UNFORGETTABLE DRIVE
Neve
Itake a deep breath sat in the passenger seat of Jack’s car. “You don’t have to do this. You have enough going on without having to deal with them,” he says, trying to comfort me.
“No, I have to for Hope’s sake. If they apologise and want to be part of Hope’s life as grandparents, I can’t deny Hope their love,” I state, feeling a real mixture of emotions.
“There is something that I should tell you,” I say, turning to face him.
He looks worried for a moment. “I used to be a singer.”
He smiles. “A singer? A famous singer?”
“No, but it was my dream for most of my life before I had Hope. My parents hated it. Hated that I was a dreamer. I mean they were right but I honestly thought I was going to make it big one day.” I snort.
“Is that why you fell out?” he asks.
“No, well I avoided them while I pursued singing, seeing them as little as I could because they would make comments. But when I told them about me being pregnant, that was when they lost it. I walked out and never looked back.” I sigh.
“So you ready to take the next step in our relationship and meet my parents?” I tease.
“Well, I think our relationship has been anything but conventional, so sure, why the hell not. Then maybe when Hope is feeling better you can meet mine. Or to keep our relationship unconventional, maybe you could meet my uncle first or we should move in together?” he states, the last part making me freeze.
“You’re serious?” I ask. “It’s been what, like four and a half months?”
“Nearly six months actually and I’ve been living with you in your flat now for the past six weeks. And since when have we done things the normal way? We’ve been through more than most and if you want to be technical, we’ve known each other for five years,” he points out.
“Me fainting in your apartment five years ago hardly means we knew each other.” I snort.
“What do you say? When Hope’s been through this next lot of treatment let’s move in together. You can talk it through with Hope first of course. If she’s not happy then it’s a no go,” Jack presses.
I shake my head smiling. “This is insane.”
“Now if we did it like everyone else, that would be boring. At least we’re different. We are unique,” he teases
I lean over and kiss him, “Sure, let’s do this. I would love to move in with you.”
“Yes!” Jack fist pumps the air before kissing me. “Do you think we could get away with a quick fuck in the car?” he asks.
I laugh, “The fact that it is 2 pm on a Saturday in a built-up street. I’m thinking the curtain twitcher would have the police arresting us for indecent exposure within five minutes.”
“Five minutes, hey? I can do a lot in five minutes,” he teases.
I laugh. “Come on, let’s get this over with. Then if we have time before Bella brings Hope back you can fuck my brains out at home.”
“Good plan,” he agrees before getting out of the car with me. He walks to my side and takes my hand in his, bringing it up to his mouth and placing a soft kiss on the back of my hand. “It’s us against them, baby.” He winks.
I ring the doorbell and we stand there and wait. My mum opens the door with a dish cloth in her hand, like there is always a wiping emergency. I don’t think I’ve ever seen her empty-handed. Her eyes fill with tears. “Hi Mum,” I greet her.
“Come in, come in.” She ushers us in. I’m surprised, maybe they have changed.
“Who is at the door?” my father bellows from the living room. “If it’s the damn salesmen, I shall get my gun!” he yells.
I feel Jack’s gaze go wide. “B-B gun,” I assure him. He breathes a sigh of relief.
“No, why don’t you see who it is.” Mum smiles guiding us into the lounge. Dad grumbles and gets up out his chair, the same chair he had all those years ago.
He turns around and stops as soon as his eyes land on me. “Hi Dad.” I smile tightly.
There’s an awkward silence as we all stand there, until Dad speaks out. “I thought you had a kid?” he asks.
“I do, a little girl called Hope. She’s four.” I smile.
He puts his hands in his pockets and nods. “Nice name,” he adds.
I nod. “Oh um sorry, this is Jack, he’s my boyfriend,” I introduce. Dad shakes Jack’s hand and my mum gives him a little wave.
“Oh tea, who would like a nice cup of tea?” Mum asks.
“Sure.” Jack and I both nod.
“Sit down and I will bring it in,” Mum gestures.
We take a seat on the sofa and Dad sits back in his chair. “So how have you been Dad?” I ask, still holding Jack’s hand like it’s my lifeline.
“Yeah good, I’m fully retired now so that’s good, although your bloody mother keeps trying to get me to join different clubs.” He tuts.
I smile. Mum has always been a faffer, a worrier and lastly, an interferer. “Good to keep busy I guess.” Mum brings a tray of tea and biscuits in. “Thanks Mum.”
She sits across from us, just smiling. “So, I suppose we should get to it. How much money is it this time?” Dad asks, reaching to the shelf next to him for his cheque book.
“I don’t want your money, Dad,” I state.
“Oh don’t be silly, why else would you come here?
What’s the matter now? You want us to pay for more photo shoots for your PR?
For your singing career that never happened.
” He snorts to himself. “I tell you Jack, this one used to have her head right in the clouds, thinking she was going to make it to the big time. Glad to see you’ve grounded her a bit. ”
I go to speak but Jack beats me to it. “Actually Mr. Smith, your daughter has worked extremely hard to support and raise Hope. In that time she hasn’t asked a single penny from you, she never asks for a penny off of anyone.
And so what if she tried to live out her dream?
That makes her brave. A lot braver than you or I that have stuck with options that we know are safer,” Jack snaps.
I watch him getting more and more annoyed as he shuts down my Dad.
God he is getting so laid when we get back.
“She does not need or want your money. The only reason she is here is because your wife spoke to her friend Bella in the supermarket. Because Hope has a brain tumour and she is here to give you both a chance to be grandparents. Which I might add is a huge honour, but if this is how you will be then Neve will not allow you within an inch of her daughter,” Jack fumes.
I look at Jack and see that his face is tense. I lift our interlinked hands and place a soft kiss on the back of his hand. His head whips around in my direction and I smile at him, wiggling my eyebrows. He smiles and shakes his head at me.
My mum stands and places her hand on my Dad’s shoulder.
“We are sorry for how things were left all those years ago, and we’re sorry that your father can be an insensitive baboon,” she snaps at Dad.
This is a whole new side to her I’ve never seen before.
“We would love nothing more than to meet Hope and be a part of her life. Wouldn’t we Derrick?
” Mum chastises. I sit there stunned. Seeing my mum tell my dad what for is something that would have never happened.
It was always what Dad says goes. He always had the final word.
We stay for another hour and I explain everything that is going on with Hope.
My mum cries, and even my dad looks like he chokes back a tear or two.
To see my parents’ eyes light up at the mention that Jack is an eye doctor is an understatement.
I swear they were close to fainting when he told them he was head of his department.
We arrange for them to meet Hope tomorrow, Jack invited them to dinner.
My parents laughed because they know I cannot cook to save my life.
Jack assures them that he will be the one cooking. He gives them his address and we leave.
On the drive back I get the urge to be a little wild. “Pull over here,” I tell Jack.
He pulls over putting the car in park. “What’s the matter?” he asks concerned.
I unclip my seatbelt. “Absolutely nothing.” I smile reaching for his belt.
“What the hell do you think you’re doing?” Jack hisses, looking around. “We are in a layby on the dual carriage way!” he points out while I make quick work freeing his dick.
“No one will see. Anyway, I’m just sucking you off. Sit back and enjoy. This is my way of showing you how much I love you.” I wink as I take him in my mouth. I moan, moving up and down his length.
“Sweet fuck.” Jack groans as he grabs the back of my hair and pushes on my head.
I swirl my tongue and suck harder. using my hand to pump at the base.
“Fuck, this is insane but so fucking hot!” he pants.
I suck harder and take him deeper. I feel him twitch knowing he’s close.
“Fuck, keep doing that and I’m going to cum.
” He groans. I moan and continue what I’m doing.
His hips thrust up as his release hits the back of my throat.
“Shit!” Jack roars. I slow my licking, then sit up smiling, wiping the corners of my mouth. “That was fucking hot.” Jack sighs.
“Yeah it was, now my turn,” I say as I lift my bottom off the seat and slide my thong off.
I hitch up my skirt, exposing my bare pussy and I run my fingers between my folds and moan.
Jack sits there watching me. I smile and remove my now wet fingers from my folds and run them along his bottom lip.
“Taste how turned on I am right now.” He takes my fingers in his mouth suck off my juices.
He lets out a low growl deep in his chest before he unclips his belt.
I lift my foot and place it on the dashboard as he leans over, taking my clit into his mouth.
“Ohh fuck yes!” I cry as he sucks on my clit, teasing me with his tongue.
I close my eyes and arch my back, enjoying all the pleasure he is giving me.
I briefly open my eyes, seeing a police car pull up in front of us.
But I’m so close I don’t want him to stop.
“I’m so close. Fuck me with your fingers while you lick my clit,” I demand.
He does just that and with just a few strokes of his fingers my orgasm hits me.
“Fuck, Jack!” I cry out, arching my back.
My eyes don’t close and I watch as the police car door opens.
I push Jack up and quickly slide down my skirt.
“Why the rush?” he asks. “Oh fuck.” He panics when he sees the police officer approach. He quickly zips up his jeans and tries to act casual.
“Everything alright, sir?” the policeman asks.
I lean over Jack’s side and wipe my arousal off Jack’s mouth. “I’m sorry Officer, it’s my fault. I had a little panic attack and my good boyfriend the doctor here was helping me manage my breathing to help me relax.” I smile sweetly at the officer.
“You do look flushed madam, do you require further assistance? Sometimes it works better coming from two men,” the officer asks.
Jack coughs back a laugh. “Oh no, I’m more than fine now, thank you Officer.” I smile.
“Well it’s a good job your boyfriends a doctor. That being said I’m first aid trained and I’ve been told by my wife I do have the magic touch.” The officer smiles.
“Oh I bet,” I agree smiling, doing my best not to laugh.
“Oh yes, she was sluggish and barely moving. Once I got her going, it took a good few thrusts, but soon she was breathing quite heavily,” he states proudly.
Tears of laughter threaten to break and I can’t take anymore. “Well, thank you so much Officer. We must go as I have an emergency to get to,” Jack rushes out.
“Oh yes, off you go.” He steps back and waves us off.
Jack pulls out quickly and I burst into fits of laughter.
“That is one drive I will never fucking forget.” Jack laughs.
