Kate Falling 4 the Bad Boy ♐

Vincent was one of the best guys I’d ever known.

His ability to support me in all my insanity made him tremendous or insane like me.

Either way, it worked for us. Leo had brought me home.

We all had a great breakfast. Leo and Vinny were oddly friendly with each other.

I understood more as our conversation continued when Leo left us for the day.

“That guy is so damn cool.” Vincent happily talked about Leo. My head was remarkably clear, given the late night, morning sex, etc.

“Why do you say he’s ‘damn cool?’” I asked as we lounged on the couch, Vincent flipping through the channels.

”Are you serious? I’m pretty sure he saved your life and did so as a perfect gent-le-man.” Vincent stuck his pinky up as he emphasized the word ‘gentleman’ with a bad British accent.

“You mean stripping me and letting me sleep off too much alcohol?” I asked with frustration at how my husband seemed smitten with Leo.

”Are you still drunk, babeee?” He smiled at me, rubbing my leg with his free hand as he kept looking for something to watch.

”No way! I’m sober. I’m showered. I’m in fresh clothes. I know what happened, and he did not save my life. In fact, he couldn’t even save me from puking on my dress.”

”Negatory morning glory. Not even close. He Facetimed me for an hour with you.” His eyes continued to scan the TV.

I must have had a bit of a stunned look on my face. “What are you trying to say? This makes no sense.”

”Babe, you were barely conscious as you and him were hanging out in his hotel room.

He first called me and said, ‘Hey dad, not gonna make that 1 am delivery,’ which was a good opening line.

Not gonna lie.” Vincent selected a random superhero movie to play in the background.

“Then he had you talk to me. You were adorable. You kept apologizing because you got so drunk. First to me, then to him, then to me again.”

His laughing eyes were so sweet as he told me this mysterious story hidden in my mind. “Uh huh… then what.” I probed.

”Well the next hour flew by. You started acting like a cat that got into a pile of mint.

Your eyes were like saucers. You’d kiss him randomly.

You’d ask if I was ok. Then you started stripping.

It was a riot to watch. You pulled off your dress and threw it, where it randomly landed in a trash can, which is why it smelled of vomit. Neither of you puked.”

”Are you trying to fool me? This is such bullshit.” I proclaimed as he just looked at me with those brown saucers.

”It isn’t bullshit at all.” Vinny smiled and took a drink of his iced tea. “Leo told me he was trying to get some clothes on you, that he would never take advantage of you in that state.” At this point, Vincent laughed as he saw the image of last night in his mind’s eye.

”Are you going to tell me or not?” I asked as I looked him in the eye, unsure what to expect.

”He got a long shirt on you by telling you to be a good-girl and sit on the edge of the bed. That perked you right up. Like you were, his ‘good-girl’ was a big motivator for you.” Vinny chuckled a bit as he told this part. I understood on another level and felt a slight blush on my chest.

”Then what, babe?” I asked as I leaned in on his shoulder.

”Leo got the T-shirt on you and a pair of shorts.

Then you and I talked for about 15 minutes.

He made you drink a glass of water with some ibuprofen.

You said you were too drunk to do anything, but maybe in the morning.

But! Before any of us went to sleep, you started stripping again.

He was trying to keep clothes on both of you, but you hated it.

Finally, you were cuddled up and sleeping next to him before he said goodnight.

” Vincent’s words hit me like a ton of bricks. Did I remember any of this?

I leaned on Vinny as we watched the heroes on screen.

A smile crossed my face as I realized how much of a gentleman (yes, I heard it in a bad British accent this time) Leo was; he did save my life last night.

He was also one of the contributing factors to why I needed saving, but that’s ok.

Wait a second. Is that ok? My overthinking mind went into overdrive as I digested the fact that Leo had taken me to a dangerous bar, made me cum in front of a stranger, made me hit on that stranger, and made me hit on another stranger.

The second stranger could have raped me, but Leo was right there the moment it got a little intimidating.

Thinking back, even though it was hard to remember everything, the danger almost felt tame.

Leo was there the whole time. I noticed the idea of protection and how Vincent recollected how I was cared for when I was vulnerable; it changed how I looked at the situation faster than bored housewives at a black Friday sale.

Vincent and I spent the day cuddling, watching fun movies, and making love.

I noticed many stories like this where the husband and wife reconnect after her time with another man.

I don’t fully understand the need for that because although I connected with Leo and Eric significantly, I do not and have not felt a disconnection from Vinny.

Maybe that will change. Perhaps it won’t.

Leo and I messaged and decided we would reconnect later in the week. Our plans were continually postponed as work was intensely busy. It wasn’t until the following Friday that the two of us could connect again. Leo and I left directly from the PT office for this date; we started with dinner.

Dinner was calm and sweet. We ate at a small restaurant.

I found myself smiling a lot. I noticed he was smiling more, too.

His smile was sarcastic and sexy all in one.

I enjoyed looking into his eyes as we ate.

Holy fuck. Look at that girly shit I just wrote?

! Just look at it. Was I smitten? Was I seriously that into this handsome, brown-eyed, commanding, alpha male?

There I go again. Seriously woman, get it together!

We kept the conversation light as we ate and then took a stroll.

I was unfamiliar with this area, but it was beautiful.

The walking trail weaved through a wooded area, which led to a grassy park.

Leo was no stranger to this spot. He carried a rolled-up picnic blanket, which he unfurled as we reached an opening at sunset.

We didn’t speak much through dinner or on our stroll.

It was so comfortable. I loved it, and I think he did, too.

I had awkward moments, as always. Trying to flirt was always an interesting prospect for me.

“You definitely had this planned.” I said as I flopped onto the blanket. Leo landed next to me a moment later.

”Is it a bad thing to plan ahead?” Leo asked as he turned on his side and faced me.

He propped his head up with his arm. I turned towards him and looked up at him.

I’m sure I looked like an adoring fan as I drank in his handsome looks, wondering if he thought any less of me because of last week’s overindulgence.

“Huh? What’d you say?” I asked as I was watching his face. He raised an eyebrow as he looked down at me and smirked.

”I asked if it was a bad thing to plan ahead…” Leo was working his way into my heart with little to no effort. What is wrong with me?! Was this guy made of pheromones, and I was falling for a major chemical reaction?

I smirked back, “I mean, I think you know my reaction to that; I’m a major planner.”

“Are you now? What have you planned lately?” He challenged me.

”I plan all of our trips to the movies. I plan most of our vacations. I make care plans at work. I was the youngest PT in the state, ever, so yeah, I like to plan.” I felt like I was bragging a bit, but at the same time, I wanted to meet his challenge. I hoped I was doing it right.

His smirk broke into a smile, “you’re really adorable, you know that?”

“Oh, now I’m just some adorable little plaything for you?” I don’t know why my inner feminist was feeling playful.

“Yes.” His smile disappeared as he answered sternly.

“I have to tell you, you aren’t a baby-girl.

I thought about that this week; that name doesn’t apply to you.

We’ll figure out what makes sense for you.

” His words were so confident as he ended the sentence.

The talk about an adorable title, a title that my ego craved to be bestowed on me, had to come from him.

I nodded, and he smiled at me again. He looked at me and then off into the distance as he placed his hand on my stomach. He didn’t rub my belly or move his hand; it was just a warm hand that wanted to find a place to rest.

My eyes soaked Leo in, and I felt the warmth as I lay on my back, my head turned to face him.

The glow of sunset showed me something I had missed somehow.

His eyes revealed themselves as not just a simple brown, but a beautiful hazel, as the sun bathed us with the final breath in this intoxicating space.

As I watched the magnificent maze of his irises light up, a golden hue ate at me.

I leaned up and kissed him, deep and sweet as the sun fell to the other side of the Earth.

Both of us settled onto our backs as we began to stargaze.

”Tell me, Kate, what type of music do you like?” Leo held my hand as we watched the sky fill with points of light, the sun’s glow faded quickly in this moment.

“I’m all over the place, to be honest.” I loved talking about music.

“I grew up watching some musicals with the family, but I don’t normally listen to that outside of the movies.

I do like some older artists and classic songs.

Que Sera, Sera by Doris Day will always be one of my favorites.

” I took a pause, where Leo jumped in quickly.

”Que Sera! Talk about an old classic. I love anything from Cole Porter, Eartha Kitt, and Bing Crosby to the Deftones, Bleeding Through, or Guttermouth. I’m extremely picky.” Leo offered.
