Killa
“Damn fuckin’ right nobody is fallin’ like me.” I cradle the back of Cass’s head in my thick palm. “Nobody could love like I do.” Then I dust my lips over hers and revel in the way her body melts into me.
“Get a fuckin’ room!” Abs bellows from across the room, and loud cheers become background noise, only her and me existing, just as it should be.
Knowing Noah is fast asleep in our home with Hunter watching over him while we celebrate is reassuring, but I’ve already texted the fucker five times to make sure Noah is okay.
I know how much my kid likes me being there at night, and it eats away at me that another man is in my home playing happy family with my son despite him not being thrilled at missing out on the fun.
We needed a sitter, and Hunter just so happened to forget about the bet we made.
He was the last one in church, too busy fucking one of the club girls to remember the last in would be looking after Noah tonight.
Hell, Venom rammed Raider out of the way so hard to make sure he was in front of him that Raider’s head bounced off the wall, leaving a crack in the drywall.
To be fair, if Venom was last in church, I’d have feigned sickness myself and called the party off.
There’s no way that big bastard is watching over my kid.
Unable to help myself, I glance down at my phone and type out another message.
Me: He good?
Hunter: If I tell you no, will you switch places with me?
Me: He good?
Hunter: Go fuck yourself.
Hunter: In fact, why the fuck are you messaging me and not fucking your ol’ lady? Isn’t that the point of a kid-free night?
I rear back and stare straight into the most mesmerizing green eyes I’ve ever witnessed. She takes my breath away, and I hope like hell our baby has the same shade of green.
Tilting her head to the side, she assesses me, and when her fingernails rake over my chest, calm washes over me. “You ready to go home?” I ask, hoping like hell she is.
“Absolutely.” She smiles back at me. “You don’t want to stay a bit longer?”
I tap her ass. “Hell no.”
Her face softens.
“Come on, Little Demon, let’s go home.”
We step outside into the night sky, the stars bright, and the sound of crickets can be heard as I lead her with my arm slung over her shoulder and her petite body tucked close into my side.
“I think I broke you, Killa.” She beams up at me, and her eyes sparkle.
I still to take her in. She’s without a doubt the most beautiful woman I’ve ever laid eyes on, and I don’t know what I ever did to deserve her, but I’ll spend my entire life worshipping the ground she walks on, reminding her how incredible she truly is.
“Nah, you pieced me back together, darlin’, makin’ me stronger than ever before.”
She swallows and tears glisten in her eyes. “You make me strong too.”
“We’re Unholy, darlin’.” I place a hand on her stomach, and her breath hitches. “Now you are too.”
The loud chants of my brothers can be heard through the walls of the clubhouse, and my lips twitch at their timing. “Unholy to the core!”
She places her hand over mine. “Unholy to the core.”
