Epilogue
Lolly
“You okay?” He’s still a little pale, but maybe a tad less green than he was on the plane.
“Yeah, I just can’t believe we shared the same air as one hundred other people for hours on end,” he says.
I laugh, “But you survived,” I say with a wink, grabbing his hand in mine as we head out of the cab onto the resort property. The air is warm with an ocean breeze, palm trees dancing around us as we make our way up the rock-lain path to the front office.
“I can’t believe we’re here,” he says as he takes in his surroundings, eyes wide, lips parted.
“Aruba, because volcanic rock trumps sand every time,” I say with a grin. “How did you pull this off?”
“I convinced Chuck to cover your shifts, added a little extra fishing money to the pot and it was like taking candy from a baby,” I admit.
“You didn’t,” he says, eyes narrowed.
“I so did.”
“Are you ever going to tell me how much you sold that software for?” His eyes narrow with faux contempt.
“I will if you stop asking.”
He huffs in defeat as we head inside.
It’s beautiful. The decor is all warm peach tones with bright turquoise accents.
My eyes are immediately drawn to a coral chandelier, the richest shade of orange I’ve ever seen.
The front desk is lined with shells laid in a glitter-filled resin and an open, coated oak top.
I eye the pitcher of water complete with cucumbers and kiwi warily, wondering how often they change the fruit and if Bailey has already figured out what bacteria might be convening there.
We follow the attendant down a stone laden path, winding through palm trees and rich foliage until we reach our oceanside bungalow. The free-standing villa is painted a charming turquoise, the patio furnished with a small table and two wicker chairs.
He unlocks the door and hands me the key. “Let us know if you need anything at all,” he says with a smile and subtle bow.
“We will. Thank you,” I reply, holding the door open for a wide-eyed Bailey. I follow him inside, smiling as I take in the immaculate living space and kitchen.
I watch him touch every surface, trailing his fingers along each painting and countertop, loving the way he does a little dance when he finds the fridge full of cold La Croix.
“Lolly,” he says.
I turn to face him, “Yeah?”
“This is incredible,” he says quietly, cheeks pink, eyes dancing with adoration. “I can’t believe this is real.” He gasps, “Oh my fucking god, the coffee pot is pink!”
“Had I known all we needed was a pink coffee pot, I could have saved a lot of money.”
He rolls his eyes.
“Come here, princess.”
He laughs, cheeks flushed.
“I’m glad you like it,” I say before planting a kiss on his forehead
“Thank you. I can’t believe I get to go to a meeting in fucking Aruba,” he says, eyes bright.
“You’re welcome,” I say. And then I pull him close and kiss him. I kiss the man who stole my heart. I kiss the man I want to spend the rest of my life with. The man who stood by my side through the darkest days and held my hand until the dawn.
He groans into my mouth, “Fuck, you’re sexy in Aruba,” he breathes.
I laugh against his lips. “I’m sexy everywhere, green eyes.”
He huffs a laugh and then pulls my shirt off with ease, taking a moment to drink me in.
“Let’s at least see the bedroom before we get carried away,” I say, grabbing our bags.
He whines then shuffles behind me.
The soft pink walls of the bedroom create a cascade of warm colors as the sun lowers over the ocean. I stop, setting the luggage down as I take in the floor-to-ceiling window.
I feel him behind me, his arms slowly wrapping around me as he, too, takes in the view.
“The sunset,” he marvels, squeezing me tight.
“The sunset,” I echo in awe.
I run my thumbs across his hands as I admire the rest of the room.
An intricate headboard adorns the king-sized bed, the same iron and brass that my grandmother loved.
The silken comforter shines with shards of reds and pinks that are striking against the white-trimmed pillows.
The room feels exquisite in its mix of beauty and plush coziness, complete with a solid mirrortop dresser and large abstract beach scene canvas. It’s perfect.
“Come here,” I say and pull him flush against me. I’m lost in his eyes, in his resilience, and I never want to be found. I kiss him, his pillowy lips perfect against my own. He still takes my breath away.
He groans against my mouth, his hands gripping my ass as he pulls me even closer.
I can feel his erection brush against mine and it’s all the inspiration I need. I’m tossing his shirt onto the floor and unfastening his pants while I shimmy out of my own.
His lips crash against mine and I devour him. “God, you taste so fucking good,” I groan. His hard dick rubs against mine and we both hiss. Both of us needy, hands wild, tongues lashing.
“Lolly, fuck, baby I need you inside me,” he whines. “Please.”
My dick is throbbing, aching to get inside him. Insistent. Demanding. “Where’s the lube?” I pant.
His eyes widen, “I don’t fucking know,” he says, voice frantic. He rifles through a bag and tosses something at me.
I catch it and look up, brows furrowed in confusion. “Aloe?”
“Similar viscosity, it’s safe. Trust me, I’m a pharmacist,” he says hurriedly.
“Please, Lolly, I need you like right fucking now.”
“Where do you want me?” I ask as I slick up my shaft with the cool green liquid.
His eyes heat with desire as he slowly backs up, knees hitting the bed before he’s lying back, spreading himself open for me.
“Fuck, Bailey,” I growl as I watch him pull two wet fingers from his mouth and massage his hole.
“You gonna get yourself ready for me baby?” I stroke myself again, mouth open, eyes half-lidded as I watch the sexiest man I’ve ever seen splayed out before me, working his perfect pink hole open.
“Lolly, please,” he pants as he works two fingers in and out, spreading his legs wider as he looks to me, eyes pleading.
“Fuck yes,” I exhale as I crawl on top of him, lining myself up at his entrance, teasing his hole with my crown. “God, you’re so perfect when you’re begging for my dick.”
He whimpers, “Please, Angel. Please feed me that big dick, I’m fucking starving,” he whines, lashes fluttering.
I bring my mouth to his, parting his lips with my tongue as I part his perfect hole with my length, breaking through his first ring, each of us gasping as our bodies collide.
He pulls me closer, deepening the kiss as I drive into him until he’s taking all of me, my hips flush with his perfect ass. “Bailey,” I breathe. “You’re everything.”
“Fuck, you’re incredible,” he sighs as he relaxes around me. Flushed cheeks and swollen, pillowy pink lips. Searing verdant eyes and my favorite fucking freckles.
He’s mine.
“You’re mine, Bailey. Mine to love, mine to fuck. Mine to keep,” I say as I find absolute solace in him. My safe place, my anchor. “I love you.”
“God, I love you too,” he sputters. “I’m yours. All yours,” he echoes.
“You feel so fucking good baby I’m not gonna last,” I mumble against his ear. Warmth pools in my belly and quickly spreads like wildfire through my veins.
“Come with me,” I manage, as I grab his length and stroke him in tandem with my thrusts.
“I’m gonna come,” he moans. “I’m fucking coming, baby.”
“God, yes.”
He tightens around me, gripping me as his dick pulses in my hand, sending jets of cum across his skin and I’ve never seen anything as beautiful as he is in this moment.
I tumble over the edge, following behind him, lights blowing behind my eyes as I fill his perfect ass up with everything I have to give.
We stay wrapped up in each other, sweet kisses, promises of tomorrow and apologies for days past. It’s perfect. It’s everything I could have ever wanted, but never knew to hope for. His head on my chest, and him in my arms.
We take a quick shower and then get back in bed, exhausted from the long day of travel.
“I love you,” I say quietly.
“I love you, too,” he echoes.
I kiss him once more, and then fall into sleep next to the love of my life.
