Chapter 13 Someone Else’s Floor

The first floor was someone else's territory.

Daoist Kaixin seemed to realize that too, and still wanted to call back his dear disciple.

But it was too late. That person had already stepped slowly out of the shadows.

A cold gaze locked on him.

Even Daoist Kaixin who claimed to be an immortal couldn't help shrinking his neck.

But he couldn't bear to give up the living pill furnace right in front of him. He forced himself to speak. "Sister Huo, I can see your bones are extraordinary. You're a rare—"

"Get lost!"

"Right away."

Daoist Kaixin fled at top speed, leaving the broken but stubborn Old Wang to crawl darkly across the floor.

I watched him. He looked like he hadn't expected someone who could make Daoist Kaixin this wary.

What kind of monster was this, then?

Trembling, he looked up. When he saw the face clearly, his pupils shrank.

It was only a woman.

A woman in her forties, dressed neatly.

Neither as burly as Xiao Mei, nor as manic as Daoist Kaixin.

Her thin frame even looked fragile.
