Outside the Hospital
While we were waiting, a blue Bugatti – one of the Rosolinis’ cars – roared down the street away from the hospital.
It was heading in a direction away from us, towards the historic part of Florence –
Where Cicciobello was shooting up the Ponte Vecchio.
Ciro looked back at me from the driver’s seat. “Should we send somebody to follow it?”
I could smell the desperation in the air…
But it was coming from the hospital.
“No,” I said.
