Outside The Hospital
Thank God for all that simulator training, because I would have lost control of the car without it.
As we raced towards the building, I saw them:
Eight black SUVs parked in the fire lane, just as Dario had described them.
Nobody was getting out of them, though.
“Go around them?” I asked.
“Go around them and through the glass,” Dario confirmed as he chambered a round in his Glock.
I hoped and prayed there weren’t any civilians on the other side of the entrance.
“If you can,” Lars said, “skid in sideways as we go through so I can jump out immediately.”
“I can do that,” I muttered as I gripped the steering wheel.
