Chapter 13

THIRTEEN

The water met her backside each time she lowered her body onto mine. I watched in pure adoration as the beads of water glistened on her dark skin. Her body was incredible. So was her pussy. And her mouth. And her mind. And her.

Kit was out of this fucking world and I had to have her in mine.

For good. Four and a half weeks into her stay at my home and it had been made very clear where she’d stand in my life.

Forefront. Center. My highest priority. I’d accomplished everything I’d ever wanted in life. Now, I wanted to accomplish her.

Learn her.

Love her.

Lead her.

“You’re so beautiful,” I moaned against her. “And, so mine.”

She nodded in approval, agreeing with me as she tried extracting my semen from me. Her pussy was magical. So was she.

“This belongs to me, Kit. You belong to me. Don’t forget it. You hear?”

“Yesssssss–”

Her shoulders rounded as I took her left breast into my mouth.

“Uhhhhh. Yesssss.”

The melodies playing lowly from the speakers were interrupted by the sound of my cell ringing on the loudspeaker. Kit froze in place. I assisted us to higher ground by pulling her down onto me and plunging into her from beneath.

“Your phon— uhhhh– yessss– phone.”

“Fuck my phone,” I grunted, feeling my nut rise. “Shit, baby.”

Kit clung to me as she splintered. Her slipperiness toyed with my mental stability. I was on the brink of insanity when I began my final request. The music resumed as it rolled off my tongue.

“Up baby–” I instructed, “Get up off of i– Fuck.”

Kit was off my dick in a quick second, replacing it with her mouth. She sucked my semen right from my head.

“Shit, baby.”

She sucked the traces of her pussy from my skin. When she finally lifted her head, there weren’t any of my completion either. The lick of her lips let me know she’d finished her serving in a single gulp.

Suds trickled down Kit’s back as I scrubbed with the towel I’d soaped for the sole purpose of cleaning her from head to toe. Quietly, she allowed me to have my way. The satisfaction etched in every move she made resonated with me and filled me with unsettling joy.

She was content.

She was comforted.

She was cared for, deeply.

My phone interrupted our music for the second time. I ignored it and anything else that didn’t relate to Kit at the moment. She was all that mattered right now. The rest of the world could wait. I allowed my cell to ring out as I cleared the soap from her body.

When we finally stepped out of the tub, we transferred to the shower for a quick rinse. Kit’s arms were around my neck as we swayed to the sounds of H.E.R.

You make me comfortable with you.

I feel so comfortable with you.

You make me comfortable with you.

You make me–

You make me–

Kit whispered the words against my neck. I believed them to be true. To be valid. To be worthy of hearing a hundred times over.

I feel so comfortable with you.

That was all I’d wanted. All I’d needed from the start of this thing. And, finally, I had it.

Her comfort.

It brought me peace. So did she.

“I could stand here forever. Right here. Forever.”

“Me, too.” I sighed.

But, she didn’t. Neither did I. We let a full track spin before we exited. She blotted her skin dry with a fluffy towel I’d provided. I did the same, unable to keep my eyes off her.

We were both silent, watching the news broadcast with the television muted.

Neither of us wanted to acknowledge what was being reported.

Neither of us wanted to address what was likely going to happen in the next few days.

Neither of us wanted to think about how difficult it would be to navigate our new normal because neither of us wanted it to be our reality.

We had been under a rock, falling deeper and deeper for one another as the world progressed around us.

I would’ve been alright under the rock with her for another three months, uninterrupted.

But, that wasn’t the case and the world had to continue.

So did our lives outside of each other and the walls of my home.

The antiviral medication had been approved. Doses were being delivered to every doorstep of every living, breathing being. And, the shelter in place order had officially been lifted for those who were in possession of the medication. My heart knotted in my chest.

My phone vibrated on the bed. Irritated with the constant interruptions, I swiped across the screen. With my eyes trained on Kit, who was visibly struggling with the news, I pushed out a frustrated breath.

“Yeah, Olivia.”

“Not Olivia, babe. It’s Carmen. I’m watching the news and with everything coming to an end, you were the first person on my mind. I’ve missed you all month long, Fohr.”

I listened to Carmen as I watched Kit’s chest deflate. The pain of Carmen’s words contorted her beautiful face. She placed a hand on her chest as she shoved a dagger into mine.

“Unfortunately, Carmen, there will be many more months you will find yourself missing me. Whatever we had before this all began is all we’ll ever have. I’m no longer a free agent. I’ve been–”

My line buzzed. This time, I checked the screen. Olivia’s name appeared, confirming my suspicions. I pulled my briefs over my ass and followed up with a pair of sweats.

“I have to go, Carmen. Do me a solid one and delete my digits from your contacts.”

“Fo–”

I clicked over, answering Olivia’s call while watching Kit snap her bra behind her. She was moving hastily. Swift movements were unfitting. She was slow to do everything. Slow to trust. Slow to find comfort. Slow to laugh. Slow to speak. Slow to move.

She lived a slow, soft life, and I had every reason to believe I’d just complicated that. Though I’d done absolutely nothing wrong, the situation was still a mind-fuck.

“Yes, Olivia.”

“We’re on our way in. We have your meds. Your flight leaves in under an hour. We have to get your first dose in your system and you up in the air by the time it leaves. The team has an emergency meeting and practice immediately after. See you in a second.”

She ended the call before I could respond. Kit was clothed in a top and working her skirt up her body. She’d skipped one of the most important steps of her routine, proving she was affected by the call from Carmen.

“Kit–” I started, trying to determine my course of action and the correct words to express my sincerest apology.

I never wanted her to hear another woman’s voice on my line if it wasn’t my mother or Olivia. Carmen was something to do in-season when there was nothing else to do. There was nothing special about our connection, nothing special about her.

“It’s fine, Fohr.”

“Then, why are you gnawing your bottom lip like that and why haven’t you stopped to moisturize your body?”

“Because– didn’t you hear Olivia? They’re on their way inside. I need to be dressed.”

“They can wait.”

“It’s fine, Fohr. I jus–”

“Did the call upset you?”

She nodded, admitting the obvious.

“That’s nothing,” I explained, closing the gap between us.

“I didn’t think it was. But, the fact remains. I can’t control how I feel right now, Fohr. And, that scares me. Because, there will be more Carmens. There will always be a Carmen wanting you and wanting your attention as much as I do. And, that bothers me.”

“It doesn’t matter who wants me, love, not when all I want is you. You have my undivided attention and always will. Rest your worries knowing just that.”

I kissed her lips and pulled her in for a hug. I wrapped my arms around her trembling frame. I understood exactly where she was coming from. Had it been the other way around and I’d be in the same or worse shape.

“FOHR!” Olivia’s voice rang out in the distance.

I took Kit by the hand and led her out of my bedroom.

We met Olivia in the hallway. Behind her was Sherman, DeWayne, Hemp, and Sam.

The dream team, as they referred to themselves.

But, in reality, they were just my team.

The machine behind the muscle and I was thankful for them all for different reasons.

“Oh, there you are. Here–”

She handed me a bottle with only four pills inside.

“Two now. Two later,” she told me.

I read the label on the bottle.

Laricoxin.

My name was printed above the description and directions.

“Get him some water please,” Olivia demanded of Kit, sending my temperature through the roof.

“You go get the water, Olivia. You knew I needed it before you stormed through my crib yelling my name.”

“She’s here to help, right? Or have I missed something?” She looked from me to Kit.

I watched with flared nostrils as Kit inhaled, prepared to speak up for herself. But, instead, a chuckle fell from her lips. She was in sheer disbelief. I wasn’t far behind her. Olivia had grown a set of balls in the last month and a half and forgotten who signed her check.

“No, you are. And don’t ever forget that shit. If you have trouble doing so, I will allow her to remind you.

“Maybe you need to go back out of the door and come back in this bitch after you have a good look at the address on the brick out there. Don’t speak to her that way. Not today, not ever. Understood.”

She nodded, catching my drift. I didn’t have to explain any further. What was understood didn’t have to be explained. Olivia wasn’t new to my lifestyle. She knew exactly what type of time I was on with Kit.

“Sam–” she yelled. “Water for Fohr.”

“Coming right up, boss man.”

“I ca– I will get i–”

“You won’t,” I told Kit.

She was desperate to separate herself from me as her discomfort grew.

She hadn’t been immersed in my lifestyle yet.

It had only been us for the last month and a half.

It was a swift adjustment that neither of us were quite ready for.

Coupled with the call I’d just received and my sweet baby was overwhelmed.

Sam disappeared. Olivia walked me through the home that she knew better than me at one point.

But, I’d learned more about the pad since being here with Kit.

We all huddled in the boardroom. Kit pressed her back against the wall upon entry.

I quickly got lost in the new rules and regulations Olivia was spitting in my direction.

Precautions needed to be taken before the game could continue, but there was so much money on the line. The league were continuing the game, although people’s health was at risk.
