Chapter 5 The Secret Medicine
Both Eldest Young Master and Second Young Master were very satisfied with my performance. Madam was full of confidence in me.
"A-Yao, I knew from the first glance you were a good one."
"But two months have passed. How have you still not succeeded? Could it be you're not putting in effort?"
I knelt on the ground, inwardly crying out in frustration.
Your son is useless, and your eldest illegitimate son has a ruined body. I suffer on both sides just to leave an heir for the Lin family, and now I have to take your anger too.
Madam ignored my defense and handed me a bottle: "This is a secret medicine I spent a fortune to obtain. It will ensure you conceive a boy in one go."
Why didn't you bring this out earlier?
Making me work so hard for nothing!
I took the medicine back to my room, only to be startled by Second Young Master inside.
He held a man's sweat towel and questioned me fiercely: "This belongs to Lin Xi! Why is it with you!"
I blushed the moment I saw the towel. The night before we had gone too far. My undergarment was torn to pieces, and afraid of being seen on the way, Eldest Young Master had used his sweat towel to wrap my chest in a knot as a temporary substitute.
But the towel was too small. My fullness couldn't be contained at all.
"Eldest Young Master, this seems impossible."
"A-Yao, don't move. I can manage."
The freshly tied towel was torn apart again.
After ruining two towels, I finally escaped.
"A-Yao!" Second Young Master slammed the table. "Your lover isn't that Lin Xi, is he?!"
"How could that be!" I slapped the table even harder. "This humble servant just thought his style of sweat towel looked nice. Our Second Young Master doesn't have one yet! I can't let Second Young Master lose to him!"
Second Young Master eyed me suspiciously: "Really?"
I nodded viciously: "Of course it's true!"
He suddenly grinned and patted my shoulder in praise: "Good A-Yao. I knew I wasn't wrong about you! A-Yuan said you must be lying to me and insisted I test you."
I forced a smile on my face while cold sweat ran down my back.
Clutching the medicine bottle hidden in my sleeve, I made up my mind.
