Epilogue

ALEXIS

T he diamond shimmering on my ring finger as I fix the veil on my head captures my attention.

A smile curls my lips as memories of the proposal pop into my head. Evan proposed after he ravaged me in the corn maze while he was shirtless and wearing the Ghostface mask.

I knew it was him because he now sports a tattoo engraved on his chest. It’s a heart with bellissima written across it. My new favorite thing to run my fingers over whenever he’s shirtless.

I was terrified when he chased me into that section of the corn maze. Evan knows me so well that he instantly replaced the panic with pleasure.

It wasn’t long before I was focused solely on him, completely in the moment before he shoved me to my knees. I never thought I’d enjoy choking on a man’s dick as much as I do his.

Then he pulled me to my feet and dropped to his knees, worshiping my pussy until I was hoarse from screaming his name.

But it was when his cock was deep inside me that he tore off the mask, his charcoal eyes incinerating me with love and respect.

He slowed his thrusts, his kiss matching the rocking of his hips, before he said, “I’ve never loved anyone before you, bellissima. And I’ll never love anyone else. You’re it for me.”

Tears welled in my eyes. I was too emotional to say a word.

Then he grinned and said, “Well, except our kids, if we have any.” His sexy smirk indicated he’d prefer to have me all to himself.

“You’re my first and last.” I choked out, brimming with emotion. “My everything.”

He pounded me into oblivion until I screamed his name and orgasmed so many times I could barely walk afterward.

Evan helped me get dressed before he dropped to his knees, whipping out a velvet blue box.

Beneath a heavenly sky full of stars, he proposed. I can barely remember his heartfelt words, but the way he looked at me while he said them is engraved on my heart.

I said yes and threw myself in his arms, sobbing and clinging to him, before he could even get the ring on.

He carried me through the corn maze like he did the weekend before. Only this time, I wasn’t bleeding and broken.

This time, I was brimming with love and hope for our future together.

As we approached the maze entrance, the gang stood there—Trent, Sophia, Ryker, Devyn, Luca, Zayne, Jaxson, Nyx, Bentley, Skylar, and Londyn—holding a giant banner that said “Congratulations.”

I shook my head and laughed as they converged on us, throwing orange and black confetti.

Evan barely had time to set me on my feet before the girls descended, screaming and hugging me.

Pulling myself from my thoughts, I admire my reflection in the mirror. I look like a princess in my wedding dress.

There’s a knock on the door, and before I can yell for them to come in, Sophia, Devyn, Syklar, and Londyn pour into the room, clad in red bridesmaid gowns.

“Hey, gorgeous bride.” Sophia bounds over, wrapping her arms around me. “I’m so damn excited about this wedding.”

I laugh, returning her hug. “Me, too.”

Devyn is right behind her, entangling me in her embrace.

“Thank you for allowing us to have the wedding here. Your house is gorgeous.” I squeeze Devyn tighter, grateful for the extraordinary friendship we’ve built and the support she’s given to me.

“I understand we’ll be neighbors once your house is built.” Devyn pulls back, admiring me before meeting my gaze. “I can’t express how happy I am about that.”

“Me, too.” I glance at Sophia, who looks crestfallen.

I grab Sophia’s hand, pulling her over to me. “It won’t be until after graduation. Hopefully, you and a certain fighter will be our neighbors.” I wiggle my brows, nudging Sophia in her side and whispering in her ear, “Hint, hint.”

Sophia’s lips pull up into a smile. “Tell Trent to put a ring on it.”

I laugh. “Trust me, honey. He’s more than ready to do that.”

There’s a knock on the door, and Londyn pulls it open enough for her to peek around. “No, not yet,” she hisses. “Quit being so impatient, Evan. Christ, she’s already agreed to walk down the aisle with you. You’ll see her soon enough.”

Laughing, I untangle myself from the girls and head toward Londyn. “It’s fine. Don’t make that impatient beast wait any longer. He’ll break the damn door down.”

With a sigh, Londyn pulls it open, and Evan steps in. The look in his eyes takes my breath away.

We are two magnets irresistibly drawn together, moving as one as we join together, wrapping our arms around each other.

“Goddamn. I didn’t think there was any way you could look any more stunning than you usually do.” His finger gently traces my cheek. “I was wrong.”

“I’m drooling over you in a tux,” I say, straightening his tie. “I’m so damn lucky.”

He rubs his nose against mine. “No, I’m the lucky one. I’ll cherish you for the rest of my life.” His smile widens. “And if we’re ever apart, I’ll always know what you’re doing because of the cameras and trackers.”

I laugh, my palms planting on his chest. “Such a fucking stalker.”

“You wouldn’t have it any other way, bellissima.”

As his lips meet mine, I hear the girls shrieking behind me about messing up my makeup. But I ignore them, knowing my face will be messy before the night ends.

Nothing is more important than us.
