Chapter 52 Like Seeing an Ancestor

"Don't you think Jasper is acting strange?"

"Ha, what's so strange about it!" Jason Ford said dismissively. "When men see a beautiful woman, they all act like that!"

"That's true... but Jasper's behavior doesn't look like he's seeing a beautiful woman. It's more like he's seeing his ancestor!"

Jason almost burst out laughing.

He covered his mouth, his eyes darting around, and whispered to Thomas Sun, "Mr. Sun, I've arranged everything. The room is at..."

Clara Bennett's heart was in her throat as she quietly moved closer to listen.

The hotel was some distance away, located in the suburbs. At night, it would be completely deserted.

She clenched her fists tightly, anger rising in her chest.

Jason laughed sinisterly. "That place is so remote, even if Clara screams her lungs out, no one will hear her! Ha, once Jasper has had his fun and is in a good mood, he'll sign anything!"

"Oh, and Mr. Sun, I've already set up cameras in that room... If Jasper tries to back out, we'll release the video!"

"You little rascal!" Thomas laughed, pointing at him. "You really know how to get things done! But it's a bit hard on Clara."

"What else can a pretty woman do? Just be useful in bed!"

"Ha, after this is done, I'll find an opportunity to move the sales director and let you take her place!"

Upon hearing this, Jason immediately nodded and bowed to Thomas.

Clara hid behind a pillar, taking deep breaths, her teeth clenched in anger.

She fought to stay conscious despite the effects of the alcohol, but the vile faces of Jason and Thomas kept flashing before her eyes. She gripped her fists so tightly that her nails dug into her flesh, her body trembling.

She could deal with these villains later, but right now, she needed to get out of this situation.

Calming herself, she turned on her phone's location tracking and sent a message to Mason Reed, telling him to keep an eye on her location and come get her as soon as possible.

After sending the message, she received no response, which made her anxious. Just as she was about to call, Jason came looking for her.

Clara had no choice but to steel herself and return to the private room with him.

For the rest of the evening, Thomas and Jason kept pushing drinks on her. Clara did her best to resist, but she still ended up drinking quite a bit.

Jasper tried to block the drinks for her, but he couldn't do it too obviously. He could only watch as she downed glass after glass, planning to take her home himself afterward to ensure her safety.

Finally, the dinner ended, and Clara followed the men out, her head spinning.

"We had a great time tonight!" Thomas said, his expression changing as he smirked at Jasper. "Mr. Jasper, there's a special program later... You definitely don't want to miss it!"

Jasper, unaware of the plan, looked confused.

Jason suddenly grabbed Clara and pushed her toward Jasper!

Jasper was startled!

Clara's face was flushed, and her legs felt like they were made of cotton.

Jasper put his hand on her shoulder to help her stand, but quickly pulled it back as if he'd been shocked. He looked at Thomas and Jason, "What... what's the meaning of this?"

"Mr. Jasper," Jason grinned, "our Clara had too much to drink. Could you please take her home?"

"Oh," Jasper composed himself, "I was planning to do that anyway."

Jason and Thomas exchanged a knowing look. This was exactly what they wanted.

They quickly opened the car door, gave the driver the address, and watched as Jasper left with Clara.

"...Where are we going?" Clara struggled to sit up in the car.

Her head felt like it was filled with thousands of buzzing bees, and the alcohol was making her nauseous.

But when she looked beside her, she saw Jasper!

Her heart raced, and she immediately moved away, her big eyes warily watching him.

"Where are you taking me?"

As she asked this, her small hand reached into her bag and quietly unzipped it.
