Chapter 14

Chapter fourteen

Enzo

"Imust say, you do work fast," Enzo said as he looked at the file and photos that Mr. Julian Andrews had given to him.

"That's why you pay me what I'm worth," Julian said in his thick Sicilian accent.

The man looked like he had stepped off the pages of a fashion magazine—tall, dark, and handsome incarnate with a part in his slicked-back hair.

The goatee highlighted his full lips and chiseled jawline, while his brown eyes captivated.

It was that combination of sexy and debonair that got him into trouble, particularly with Vincenzo's little sister, Bianca. "So, what's your plan?"

"These pieces of shit," Enzo hissed as he glared at the photos of children dressed and posed provocatively, aimed to seduce pedophiles.

"What are you going to do about the senator?" Vincenzo asked. "These people are rat shit, and they deserve to die horribly, but they're in business because of assholes like that bigoted, racist prick."

Enzo nodded. "He's a problem because he's on my father's payroll. I'd like to kill him, but I'd need Dad's permission."

"Your father is used to working with people with morally gray compasses, or no compass at all," Julian said.

"Yeah, but even he has a limit. I don't think he's aware of the senator's 'hobby,'" Enzo said in disgust.

"We deal in flesh, but they are willing to pay off debts," Cenzo said. "This kind of sex trafficking is sick. I'm ready to kill them all."

"What's up?" Dragon asked as he entered the living room where all the men were gathered.

Enzo looked up because the big biker had actually snuck up on them, which he found impressive. Did Dragon have footsteps? He guessed being light on one's feet was a valuable tool for an assassin. "Just business," he said.

"I heard Vincenzo mention killing someone? Do we have leads on Li Mujin?" Dragon asked.

"Not yet, I'm working on that," Julian said.

"I have people watching the docks and the private airport just in case he flies in.

We know he always personally inspects each shipment.

He may do it when it comes in, or he may send someone else because of this war.

He must know that we'll be watching the docks, and that will put him out in the open, so he will be cautious.

Because he may avoid the inspection, I'm looking into his safe house now.

If we can't catch him at the docks, we may be able to catch him there. "

"And you are?" Dragon asked, an eyebrow cocked.

"Forgive my rudeness," Enzo began. "Mr. Diego Murphy, this is our Fixer, Mr. Julian Andrews. Julian, this is Dragon—uh, that's the name he goes by in his club."

Julian nodded at Dragon. "It's a pleasure."

Dragon nodded back. "Nice to meet you." He pointed. "So, you're the fixer. Like, what is that position, I wonder?"

Julian smiled. "I'm the person you send in before you have to send in Demir, one or both of the twins. If I can't get the job done, they will."

"So, do you clean up dead bodies?"

Julian looked at Enzo, as if asking for permission to answer Dragon's question.

"It's fine. At this point, our family and their club are practically one, depending on the chapter," Enzo said, thinking about how his uncle was head over heels in love with Zindel and how Demir was attached at the hip to Wolf.

Not to even mention that Burger and Akari were no doubt heading for the wedding chapel.

They shed blood together, the Castiellos and Lords; the more trust they had between them, the better, he thought.

Julian nodded and turned to Dragon. "I have various duties I attend to.

If I need to find a target, like I just did with this organization, and how I'm doing with Li Mujin, I attain the information the family needs.

If I need to clean up a mistake, I handle it.

" He looked at Enzo at that point, then smirked.

Enzo rolled his eyes. "I was fourteen, stupid, and under a bad influence." He pointed at Vincenzo then.

Vincenzo laughed. "It was my fault."

Dragon looked at the trio, and his interest was piqued. "What happened?"

"These two got high off mushrooms and went on a joyride. Let's just say there was an accident I had to deal with," Julian said.

"I've got a scar on my arm to this day from that accident. I left that shit alone. Just alcohol and weed for me as my vices these days," Enzo said.

Cenzo chuckled. "Same."

"Getting back to business," Julian said. "You need to reach out to your father about the senator. You have everything you need to take care of them. I'll get back on trying to locate Li Mujin."

All the men turned when one of Enzo's guards stepped into the room, but before he could speak, a woman pushed past him and stepped into the room. She looked at all of the men, then zeroed in on Julian. "I'm glad I've found you," she said, then walked over to him.

Enzo shook his head because he knew the story behind this relationship.

Bianca Rossi, Vincenzo's baby sister and the mother of Julian's only child.

A one-night stand at his father's birthday party a couple of years ago was Julian's mistake that he couldn't fix.

Bianca was obsessed with the man and tended to track him down every chance she could get, trying to make him hers.

"What are you doing here?" Julian asked with a frown.

"I tried to call you, but you didn't answer," Bianca said as she flipped her long, brunette locks back. A fashionista by nature, she led a luxurious lifestyle provided to her by the Castiello family and Julian, who paid all of the bills. She was truly a pampered princess.

"That's because I've been busy, Bianca. Do you need anything?

" Julian asked her as he looked down at her beautiful face.

Her big gray eyes gazing up at him were filled with lust. His cock remained unaffected, though, something he wished had happened the night of the birthday party.

Had he not been horny that day, he wouldn't have had to take responsibility for her because of their child.

His son was the best thing that came out of their affair, so for him, that was the silver lining.

Bianca pouted because she was used to getting her way, as her brother and parents spoiled her. "Well, Luca will be two soon, and we need to discuss his birthday party," she said.

Julian took a deep breath because it was a flimsy excuse just to see him. How in the hell did she even know he was there? He looked at Vincenzo then, her brother who would give her the world if he could. Her brother who wanted them to get together. Surely, he tipped her off.

"This is something that we can discuss later. It's not important enough for you to track me down like this," Julian said.

"Will you come over tonight to talk about it?" she asked and bit her bottom lip as she looked up at Julian with flirty eyes.

Enzo watched them talk and saw the clear annoyance in Julian's expression as she clung to his arm.

She was high-fucking-maintenance and spoiled to the point of ruin, in his opinion.

Now, she was Julian's problem, and one Cenzo was trying to solve by pushing them together.

He told Cenzo to stay out of it, but considering she was present now, he could tell that his best friend and cousin didn't listen.

When it came to Cenzo's little sister, whatever she wanted, he'd make sure she got.

So far, the family business wasn't affected by this troublesome couple, so Enzo just held back.

"I'll come by either tonight or tomorrow. You should go home because I have to get back to work," Julian said. "I'll walk you to your car."

"Okay," Bianca said with a satisfied smile. She turned to her brother and Enzo and waved 'goodbye' before allowing Julian to lead her out.

"I'm guessing there is a story there," Dragon said.

"Julian is a damn good fixer, but Bianca is one problem he can't solve," Enzo said.

"Hey, don't call my sis a problem," Cenzo fussed, and by his tone, Enzo could tell that his best friend had taken offense.

Enzo laughed as he waved his hand. "Fine... I don't want to get into it with you over your sister. But really, you should stay out of it."

Cenzo rolled his eyes. "He's good for her. She needs a man like Julian. He's responsible and can keep her happy if he just accepts his fate."

Enzo smirked. "Maybe... maybe not. Does Julian want a woman like her?"

"He did when he took her virginity at your dad's birthday party in the bathroom of the hotel," Cenzo snapped. "He needs to own up to that and take care of her and their son. He should be lucky I haven't gone to Rico about that. I'm trying to show patience in hopes that he'll come around."

"And if he doesn't?" Dragon asked.

"Rico won't allow a rift in the family business because of this, and I won't continue to allow my sister to be discarded or disrespected. My nephew turns two in a month; Julian needs to make a decision by then, or I will go to Rico to see what he will do. They need to get married," Cenzo said.

"And if Julian doesn't?" Enzo asked.

"Then he and I will have a falling out. Who do you think will win?" Cenzo said.

Enzo sighed because he really didn't know how that fight would end.

Both men were highly skilled fighters and didn't mind getting their hands bloody.

One would be fighting for what he thought was the dignity of his sister, while the other would be fighting for his freedom from a relationship he didn't want.

Both were far too important for their family to lose, and one was related by blood, as was his sister.

He knew that his dad would never let it get to that point.

If push came to shove, he'd make Julian honor Bianca and bring that family together.

Again, he was going to stay out of it because Cenzo was resolute in the matter, and now he had set a time limit for the desired result.

He wondered what would happen in a month.

First things first, though: deal with their enemies.
