Chapter 29 Syko

SYKO

She dipped a metaphorical toe into the supermassive black hole inside me, and I braced for her to flinch away in horror.

Run to Rekt for protection. Despite my threat, I’d find a way to let her go without killing him.

Somehow. Even if I had to will myself back into the ship’s hold a second before it imploded.

Why the fuck would she risk life and limb to be with me, when there were ten other safer, saner dyni begging for a chance to touch her?

But just as she’d done before in the cell, she paused, gazing into the horrifying darkness I carried, and then she flung herself without hesitation straight into the maelstrom. :You saved me too. You saved us all.:

I couldn’t bear it. The sweet agony of not being inside her. Of not feeling her become a part of me. If I were a better mate, I’d let her go to the medic for treatment. Comfort. Tenderness. Rather than rip her apart.

:You’re my first choice, remember?: She reminded me with a laugh. :Though I’d rather not be ripped apart.:

I released my bite, relieved I hadn’t broken her skin.

Though I couldn’t resist licking the indentations.

Even without blood, her skin tasted divine.

Though she smelled even better. Despite her fears, all I smelled was perfection.

Musky perfume and delicate, soft skin I would never tire of tasting. :No promises.:

When I pulled my fingers out of her tight little pussy, she whimpered. A delicious, fragile sound that brought my monster to the forefront. Gritting my teeth, I fought for control, breathing hard until he subsided enough for me to risk lifting her higher so I could get my cock inside her.

All the cum I’d been leaking everywhere at least made it easier to get the head inside her.

Then, as before, I let gravity help. She panted and squirmed her way down my length, while I closed my eyes and breathed through both agony and bliss.

I wanted to ravage her senseless. Fill all her holes.

Cover her head to toe with my scent. My cum.

Mark her flesh. Taste her blood. Imprint myself on every cell of her body.

I’d tried to choose a less threatening, dominant position, but it was all I could do not to seize her hips and slam up into her as deep as her body would allow. Then even deeper. Forcing my way through her slender body in ways no human anatomy should allow.

Then she climaxed. Easily. No tender seduction or star-reciting required. Her pussy convulsed even tighter, her soft cries pushing me toward supernova. Squeezing her pussy in one hand and her breast in another, I unloaded, knot and all. Filling her up while she thrashed and screamed with release.

Only then did I remember she was ovulating. We’d just escaped a breeding prison ship. The last thing she needed was a youngling planted in her belly. Now the knot plugged her up tight, waiting for my seed to do its job.

Panting, she draped over me, her limbs limp, her head rolled back against my chest. Every time she inhaled, she twitched, her breath catching on a little moan.

I shifted her back more fully against me, trying to support her weight more without so much pressure inside her.

Another guttural sound tore from her throat, and guilt tightened my chest.

My aggression was gone. Knotted inside my mate, I’d never felt more… steady. Sane. Pure satisfaction rippled through me, calming the rampaging rex like never before. While she evidently suffered.

I met Rekt’s gaze, not surprised his eyes glowed with lust, though a wry smile twisted his lips. “Can you give her something to prevent implantation?”

His forehead furrowed. “Of course, though I’m surprised you’d be open to that.”

I scowled at him. “The last thing we need now is to pass on my unstable genetics to our vulnerable mate and force her to carry a youngling.”

She stirred enough to let out a surprisingly formidable growl for one so diminutive. “I already took care of it. I asked the mrions to prevent any pregnancy until I wished for it to happen. And you’re not unstable or you wouldn’t be so worried about taking care of me.”

Kaos made that choked laugh again. “Perhaps she is appropriately named.”

“One thing for certain is I definitely earned mine.” I shifted her upright, jostling her until she opened her eyes with another growl. “Now, mate of mine, you’ll pick the rest of our squad.”

“Now?”

“Absolutely. Rekt, you’re in. Come join us.”

Evidently, the medic took my words literally. He strode closer, dropped to his knees in front of us, and pressed his mouth to hers. I smelled his scent as he came all over us both, adding his musk to mingle with mine.

“Sorry,” he panted, giving me a wary look over her shoulder to gauge my reaction. “I can’t seem to touch her without coming on her.”

If I wasn’t locked inside her, I might have chomped off his head. But I couldn’t be angry when a fresh round of pleasure made her muscles ripple around me. Besides, I had a feeling I’d better get used to our commingled scents.

“Who else, Holly?” I couldn’t help but glare at the waiting dyni. “Though no one else has permission to come on me.”

HOLLY

Stuffed. Can’t breathe.

Felt like I could taste his dick in my throat because he was so deep. Yet he wanted me to think and pick our squad?

Sure.

If I could pry my eyes open to even look at them.

Nine dyni stared at me, each unique and so very different from anything I’d ever seen before. Despite no formal introductions for most of them, or even having the time to look at them, I could still put names to several of them. They felt… solid. In my head. Like they belonged.

The green-skinned raptor with the cocky smile and dimples. Sleek and lean but rumbling with power like an expensive muscle car. Chonk. A ridiculous name but it also suited him.

The next dynos was mostly gray, slim and shorter than the first two, with brilliant neon orange and green markings around his neck and shoulders.

His eyes glowed like giant caution lamps.

Somehow I knew he was Terroar. He’d helped me put the grid together and kept it secure while we made our escape.

I didn’t know the next two dyni. One was super tall, the other shorter and thick through the midsection like Lohr. One of the two dyni who’d been in the hold with Syko was next. His gray skin was the darkest, streaked with wrinkled areas of black. Scales, maybe? I’d have to get closer to—

Wait. Did I really want to be close enough to study his skin? I flicked a quick glance up at his face. Obsidian mirrored eyes glittered back at me. Yeah. I think I did.

“Chonk, Terroar, Kaos, you’re in.” Syko’s voice had never been so silky smooth and relaxed. Though every time I tried to inhale, I couldn’t seem to get any air. “Are you interested in anyone else?”

The named dyni stepped closer to us. Chonk even flopped down on the couch in a casual sprawl. Dick fully erect and leaking, though he heeded the alpha’s warning.

I opened my mouth. Closed it. Heat flushed my cheeks, spilling down my neck. Embarrassment? Or anticipation? “Which one’s Nihil?”

A dynos on the opposite end of the line stepped forward. His skin gleamed milky white down his throat, stomach, and groin, but the rest of his body had iridescent chunks embedded in his skin. Too thick to be scales. It almost looked like chunks of glass.

“Your alpha recommends you for our squad.”

“You got it, babe.”

My eyes flared with surprise, and I choked out a laugh as he came to join us.

The thicker dynos in the middle also stepped forward, drawing my attention back to him. “I beg your pardon, Holly. I mean no disrespect and make no claim on your person or affection. However, I would like to stay nearby so I may study and learn more about you, even if I’m not a part of your squad.”

As he spoke, I made the connection in my head. Spike, designation XAS. “I knew a xenobiologist on Earth and his wisdom was always helpful. You’re welcome to stay as far as I’m concerned, but I don’t know about joining the squad.”

He gave me a very toothy grin, his yellow eyes bright with interest. “I look forward to hearing more about your life on Earth and this other xenobiologist. Perhaps we can share notes.”

Syko leaned forward to breathe in my ear, which made his dick stir me up. I couldn’t help but moan again. “Everyone else is dismissed for now, but if Holly decides she wants more to join us, we’ll keep you on the auxiliary grid.”

My eyes fluttered shut as his tongue probed my ear. I assumed the rest of the dyni left to go moonside, but I couldn’t focus to watch them leave.

“What else does my mate require of us at this time?”

Rekt cleared his throat. “Not to be the serious medic but she needs hydration, proper nutrition, and rest. She’s been through incredible stress and trauma these past weeks.”

My eyes flew open. “Weeks?” I squeaked out. “Are you sure?”

“According to the ships logs, you were on the ship for the equivalent of two Earth weeks.”

Whoa. “It felt like… days. At most. I went to sleep and woke up a couple of times, but that’s it.”

Syko rumbled with displeasure. “They kept you sedated.”

“Why?” My voice quivered, my breath catching in my throat. “Were they… experimenting? On me? And I didn’t even know it?”

He wrapped his arms around me, folding me close.

“I have a full log of what they did,” Rekt answered, his voice soft and hesitant. “If you really want to know. Mostly they simply studied you.”

“But…?”

“They did take a sampling of eggs from both of your ovaries. Those samples were removed from the ship to an unknown location.”

My throat closed off. My stomach churned. They’d taken eggs from me. To make little dynos hybrids in a laboratory. What if they were successful? What if I had a baby like Akylla somewhere, caged and trapped?

I jerked against Syko. Struggling. Space. Comfort. I didn’t even know what I wanted. Couldn’t think for the dread. The horror.

Hands cupped my cheeks, steadying me. Rekt. He pressed his forehead to mine, while Syko squeezed me tighter against him, his head close to mine.

“It’s alright,” Rekt whispered. “We’re here.”

“We’ll get them back,” Syko vowed.

Tears choked me. “It’s not the eggs. I don’t care. But if they can make a baby, my baby, I can’t bear for it grow up trapped. Experimented on. That’s awful.”

“We’ll get them back,” he repeated. “Whether they’re eggs or not. They’re a part of you. We’ll be able to find them.”

“Plus you’re tracking Snyder’s controllers, right?” Rekt said. “That should lead us right to them.”

“If it’s any comfort, DSC hasn’t been successful in cloning human-dynos hybrids,” Spike added. “According to my databanks, humans weren’t compatible at all.”

Until Natalie. Who shared her mrions.

With me.

Still knotted inside me, Syko carefully shifted us around to lie on the couch, his arms cradling me against his chest. Sudden exhaustion made my eyelids feel like they weighed a million tons, but I couldn’t rest. Not now.

Rekt stayed on his knees beside us, holding my hands. “May I scan your health, Holly?”

Weary, I nodded, letting my eyes close. I barely felt the light tap of his implement on my temple. A few seconds passed. Unless I dosed off. I wasn’t sure.

“All is well,” he soothed, stroking my cheek. “Rest.”

“But—”

Syko’s chest rumbled against my back, a deep, soothing purr that pulled me down in a slow, irresistible spiral toward sleep. “I’ll hunt down that motherfucker, wherever he hides.”
