SORIMAH #3
His arms were wrapped around my thighs holding me in place.
I had no wiggle room and the way he catered to my center sent a shiver through my body.
His festive appetite and intrusive thoughts always seemed to bring me to new heights.
Because of him not waiting for my consciousness, he was eating his way to an orgasmic area that was ready to release the flood of cream I had built up.
“Good morning beautiful,” he whispered against my folds.
I wanted to respond; I really did, but my mouth wouldn’t form any words. I was stuck on the suction this man had on my clit. It was the exact amount of pressure that caused my body to shake and give him all of me. I opened my gates and flooded his mouth with my love.
My breathing was heavy, and I was trying to figure out what I did to deserve such a blissful wake. When he hovered over my body, traces of me dripped from his beard onto my chest. I was anxious for a taste.
Pulling him into me, our lips found each other, and we swapped kisses so passionately our connection seemed unreal.
“What time is it?” I questioned softly.
“A little after nine. We slept all night. I’m guessing you haven’t been resting well either.”
Tapping his shoulder, I signaled for him to move so I could sit up. He missed out on a lot with me, and I wanted to let him in. He was such a loving man and cared about everyone in his circle. The least I could do was be open about my feelings.
“I haven’t. I’ve been crying for weeks not understanding how we got to a place that caused such distance.
One night with you changed my entire life.
I wasn’t able to think straight for a while and then I ran into you again as your nanny.
My heart skipped several beats that day because what were the odds of that encounter.
Ever since then, I’ve had this attachment to you that I couldn’t shake.
It wasn’t the sex because I’ve had my share and it wasn’t the way you spoke to me either.
It was solely about the way you claimed me and wouldn’t let me go.
You risked so much for me, and that result was me falling in love with you. ”
“A nigga been sorting out his feelings too. I never wanted you to feel second to anyone and I never wanted you to think you had to play the back burner because I really been fooling with you harder than I have anyone. Avi is problematic and I tried not to create chaos, but it was bound to happen either way.”
“Which is why I quit. I didn’t want her to take the one thing you loved away from you. I knew what kind of bond you and Akeera had. What kind of person would I be to tarnish that?”
“Thank you for thinking of her the way you do but that was something I needed to deal with on my own. The child you’re carrying is mine through and through. Can’t nothing change that because as a man I was going to be there for both of y’all under this roof.”
He spoke as if he had already made his mind up about me. He was so sure that I was where he wanted to be. Truthfully, that scared me because no man wanted all of me the way he did. I was truly curious about what made me so different.
“Why are you so obsessed with the idea of us?” I inquired.
“I’m not obsessed with an idea. I’m obsessed with the connection we made. I look at you and I see my future filled with happiness and everlasting love. I was in denial at first but when you quit, I felt like I lost the love of my life. I wasn’t going for that.”
“Hendrix, we created—”
“Something beautiful and I’m not giving that up for nobody. I’m going to miss my baby but it’s nothing I can control. I have no rights so fighting with Aviana is pointless. I prayed for them and left it alone.”
“I’m saying sorry because I truly am.”
“It’s all good. What was wrong with you yesterday? Dex said there was an issue going on with your parents.”
I stood from the bed and went to grab my robe off the ottoman. A conversation about them always irritated me because I didn’t know what to do with them.
“They uhm… they want our money. That’s the simplest I can put it.
My mother stopped working under the impression that my father would be able to handle his head of household duties but that clearly wasn’t true.
She asked but I wanted him to chuck his pride to the side and ask for himself. He wouldn’t so I gave them nothing.”
“What’s the underlying problem?”
“Other than them having four kids and only treating the first two like gold?”
“Did they abuse you and EJ? I’m talking physical.”
“We got regular beatings but once we turned eighteen, we did everything in our power to be on our own. We haven’t spoken to them in years but because they see how lucrative our business is they want to show up with their hands out.
They really had no choice because they can’t get the bread anywhere else. ”
“How much?”
“Ain’t no telling to be honest. I don’t trust a thing they say.”
“Pay the house off and I’ll reimburse you plus interest. Don’t block your blessings baby.
You got a man that’s comfortable financially and won’t miss it.
After all of this is over, they’ll be ashamed of how they treated you.
Don’t go low with them because it ain’t worth it.
Y’all turned out better than they expected. ”
“You don’t ha—”
“I don’t but I’m going to. You and my child are connected to me in ways others never will. You’re my family Ri.”
Hendrix surprised me more and more. We didn’t know enough about each other’s backgrounds for him to be so generous. However, I believed because he was looking at me as his family that he was willing to do any and everything for me.
“Thank you, Hendrix. I’m grateful.”
“Take care of my baby. That’s all you owe me. Now let’s go eat or something. A nigga stomach touching his back.”
