Chapter 34

CHAPTER THIRTY-FOUR

DEX

“Fuccckkk,” I groan, unsure what is going on. All I know is that my dick feels ready to explode even though I’m still half asleep.

“You gonna come for me, big boy?”

I blink my eyes open and find Wren’s pretty face grinning down at me. “Wren? What’s going on?” Her fingers dig into my chest as she rolls her hips. I gasp, realizing she’s currently sitting on my cock.

“Oh, you dirty little minx,” I growl, my hands grabbing her hips and encouraging her to move harder and faster. “You trying to make me come in my sleep?”

“I almost had you,” she says with a grin.

“Almost,” I grit out as she starts to moan loudly. I move my thumb to her clit, and her pussy starts to clamp down on me. “You’re so close, aren’t you?” I ask as I hold her still and start to buck up into her.

“Yes!” she gasps, dropping her head back as I push her closer to the edge. I can feel her pussy tightening around me, and I grit my teeth to stop myself from coming first.

“Uh uh, not yet,” Elias says, suddenly appearing at our side in the bed.

Wren opens her eyes and turns her head to him, her eyes widening when she sees him standing there naked, stroking his cock. She licks her lips when she spots it, only a few inches from her face. “Open up for me, sweetheart. I wanna feel that mouth of yours.”

A needy moan leaves her as she does as he asks, opening her mouth and letting him feed her his cock. I hiss out when her pussy tightens around me. Yeah, she loves that. Elias threads his hand through her hair at the back of her head and begins guiding her movements.

“Fuck, Wren. Your mouth is so fucking perfect.” She moans in response, which just makes Elias move faster in her mouth. Not wanting to lose all of her attention, I refocus my efforts and start thrusting up into her a little harder, trying to time my movements with Elias’s.

She starts to let out a non-stop train of moans and groans, and I know I’m not going to last any longer.

I pinch her clit as I lose control, shooting my seed deep inside her.

That seems to set her off as her moans turn to a muffled scream around Elias’s cock as her pussy starts to clamp down on me like a vise, milking me for every last drop.

“Holy shit, baby,” I pant out as I try to regain my senses. “What a way to wake up.”

“Lucky man,” Pete says from somewhere in the room. After Elias comes in her mouth, and waits for her to clean him up, she collapses down on my chest, and I wrap my arms around her, soaking in her warmth.

I am so done with constantly being separated from her.

It’s really starting to freak me out. I wish I had my ankle cuffs here, as they would help me sleep better.

But when we’re back in the U.S., I plan to chain her to me every night if I can get away with it.

It also doesn’t help that her tracker necklace is still in the detention centre.

Elias will have to get her a new one as soon as possible.

I hate that there is no way to track her right now.

I know we don’t have any enemies left, but that worry of losing her doesn’t go away so easily.

It doesn’t take us long to get dressed and pack our bags. Elias and Sly manage to put together an edible breakfast consisting of scrambled eggs and bacon, which makes Wren smile.

“It’s so weird seeing you two working together,” she comments.

“Well, it’s easy when we have a common goal,” Elias tells her.

“Oh yeah? What’s that?” she asks.

Sly looks at her as he answers, “You.”

Her cheeks turn pink, and I smile before shoving a piece of bacon in my mouth.

“Hey, so how much money do we have left?” she suddenly asks out of the blue.

“Around thirty-five thousand,” Sly answers. “Give or take a few thousand.”

“That’s not a lot to live on,” she says with a frown.

“But that’s not all we have. That’s just what’s left from the money you took from the safe,” Elias explains.

She shakes her head slowly. “I don’t understand.”

Elias grins, clearly proud of himself, and he should be; what he was able to pull off for her is amazing. “Well, while you were in the detention centre, I hired us a lawyer, back in the States.”

“A lawyer? For what?”

“I started to think about where you grew up, and Robert’s estate, and since he’s dead and you’re his only living relative, I figured that everything he had belongs to you now. And since there is no record of a will, the lawyer confirmed it for me. All his money, his properties, they are all yours.”

“Mine?” Her jaw drops open as she stares at him in disbelief.

“Looks like we got ourselves a sugar mama!” Pete grins, rubbing his hands together.

“Pete!” Sly scowls at him.

“What?”

“I don’t want it,” she says, ignoring Pete’s comment. “I can’t live there.”

“Of course not,” Elias says, reaching across the table to squeeze her hand. “I’ve already enlisted a realtor to appraise the properties he owns. We’ll liquidate everything.”

“How much money are we talking about?” she asks.

“Depends… But probably close to ten million.”

“Dios mio!” she gasps as Pete lets out a long whistle.

“But that’s not all,” Sly adds.

“There’s more?” she asks in shock.

Sly nods before continuing. “I worked as an accountant before prison.”

Pete starts to snicker, and Sly sends a glare his way. “Sorry! Just hard to imagine you as a nerdy accountant.”

“Anyway,” Sly says, turning back to Wren. “I didn’t spend much and invested my money. It’s probably upwards of two million now.”

“Holy shit, dude! You’ve been holding out on us!” Pete exclaims.

“I couldn’t access it while we were fugitives,” Sly explains.

Jagger raises his hands and signs, “I have about half a million in the bank.”

“Well, shit,” Pete says in shock. “Am I the only broke one here?” He turns his head to me. “Dex, you don’t have a spare million lying around somewhere, do you?”

A slow grin creeps across my face, and his jaw drops. “Try five,” Sly says, Pete and Wren’s wide eyes turning to him, then back to me.

I nod. “Underground fighting was really profitable. I never lost or spent anything. I gave Sly my bank account info so he can start managing it for us.”

“For us?” Wren asks.

“Yeah, what’s mine is yours,” I tell her.

“I don’t have much, but I’ve given it to Sly as well, so did Jagger,” Elias adds.

“I want to do that too,” she says, turning to Sly. “Can you manage my money and give all five of you access to it?”

“If that’s what you want.”

“Yes, please.” She turns to Pete and smiles. “Now you’re rich, too!”

His eyes widen in shock as he stares back at her. The silence grows, and I smile. “Wren, you actually rendered Pete speechless!”

“There’s a first for everything,” Sly adds.

“I just—” Pete starts, then snaps his mouth shut, his usual grin gone as he glances around at all of us. “I’m a little shocked, is all. I come from nothing. I didn’t expect that.”

“We’re family,” Wren says, grabbing his hand on the table and squeezing it. “And family takes care of each other.”

“Family,” he whispers, slowly nodding.

“Yep,” I say, slapping him on the back. “You’re stuck with us all now.”

Finally, as he takes in all our faces, his grin starts to return.

We’d been calling ourselves a team, but Wren is right. We’re a family now. One forged in blood and tears and love. Whatever life has in store for us, we’ll face it together.
