Chapter 35

CHAPTER THIRTY-FIVE

WREN

Istare up at the plane and take a deep breath. We’re finally leaving Russia; it’s hard to believe it’s actually happening. I don’t even remember the flight here, which is probably a good thing. I’m not really sure what to expect from the flight.

“You’re all welcome to board and take your seats,” Agent Perez tells us before turning back to talk to the captain. He had welcomed us when we arrived on the tarmac and said he was here to get us safely back to the FBI headquarters in Washington, where we’d be given our official pardon.

“Hey, who’s that?” Pete asks, pointing to an approaching black SUV. Dex steps in front of me as Jagger plasters himself to my back, his arms wrapping around me protectively.

I hear the car stop and a door open and close.

“Good morning, gentlemen,” a familiar voice says in English.

“Dimitri?” I ask in confusion as I peek around Dex.

He spots me and waves with a smile. “Hey there, killer.”

“You know this guy?” Dex asks, sounding worried.

“He was in the detention centre,” Pete answers.

“You’re one of the guards?” Dex asks angrily, his fists clenching as he steps toward him.

“No!” I grab Dex’s arm to try to stop him. “He was a prisoner.”

He frowns down at me and asks, “So he’s a criminal?”

“Yes and no,” Dimitri answers. We both look at him, and he seems unfazed by what’s going on, his hands shoved into his pockets as he watches us with amusement.

“What are you doing here?” I ask him.

“I’m hitching a ride home.” He gestures at the plane as my brow scrunches in confusion.

“Ah, Agent Fox,” Agent Perez says, stepping forward to shake his hand. “It’s good to see you made it.”

“Agent?” I ask, feeling even more confused.

Agent Perez goes back to speak with the pilot again as Dimitri turns back to me. “Yes, I was here on a mission.”

“I’m guessing getting caught stealing a car wasn’t part of the plan?” I ask.

He laughs. “Yeah, that definitely wasn’t in the plan. And it’s not like I can tell the Russians I’m an undercover FBI Agent. They’d probably shoot me on sight.”

“Shit, how were you going to get out of there?” Pete asks.

“I was working on a plan. But yours worked much better, so thanks for the rescue.” His eyes meet mine, and he nods. “I would have understood if you left me there. I was a criminal in your eyes.”

“Hey, who among us hasn’t done a little grand theft auto?” I ask. Agent Perez's head snaps my way, and I laugh awkwardly. “Just kidding!”

“Why don’t we get you on the plane before we lose our flight privileges?” Sly asks. I press my lips tightly shut and nod as he takes my hand and leads me onto the plane.

It’s nothing like the commercial airliners I’ve seen in movies. The seats are wide and spacious, with several rows facing the front and some other sets facing each other.

Dimitri takes a seat in the front row, and Sly directs me to one of the furthest seats from him. I’m not sure if he doesn’t trust him or is jealous of him, but either way, I don't argue as he straps me into the window seat and takes a seat beside me.

Jagger sits in the chair facing mine, and Pete sits beside him. Elias and Dex sit across the aisle as Agent Perez and the pilot board and shut the door, announcing we’re ready to depart.

The whole process of takeoff is exciting and a little scary, but soon we’re so high up I can’t see anything out the window other than clouds.

“It’s going to be a long flight if you want to take a nap,” Sly suggests, and I nod. I do feel tired. I didn’t get much sleep at the detention centre. So I rest my head back and close my eyes, and it doesn’t take long until I’m out cold.

I’m not sure how long I’m asleep for, but when I wake, we’re still in the air. I glance around and notice everyone is asleep, except for Jagger, who’s just watching me silently.

I raise my hand and give him a little wave.

His lips pull up a little in amusement before he crooks his finger at me, beckoning me closer. Biting my lip, I undo my seatbelt and step across the small space between us. He pulls me into his lap, my knees spreading around his thighs as I straddle him.

His warm hands push up my thighs, under my skirt, and suddenly I’m very thankful I decided not to wear pants today.

I place my hands lightly around his neck and stare into his gorgeous eyes.

“I missed you, you know that, right?” He nods once, and I start to trace the scar on his throat as we stare at each other.

His hands squeeze a little before they start to move around the top of my thighs.

The way he looks at me always makes me feel so warm and loved.

I love this man so much that it’s not surprising that from a look alone, a burst of arousal floods my system.

Unable and unwilling to hold back, I lean forward and kiss him.

It’s not gentle and soft. It’s a kiss filled with need, love, passion, and desire.

I try to show him through my kiss how much I missed him and how much I love him. His thumbs caress me over my panties, and I moan, suddenly needing him desperately. He pushes my panties aside and slips a finger into me, making me gasp against him.

Moving my hands down the front of his chest, feeling his tight muscles as I go, I find the top of his pants and quickly undo them, gripping his hardening cock and pulling it free.

I stroke it as his finger pumps into me, making my hips move in a plea for more. He pulls his finger out, then grabs a blanket from his side and shakes it out behind me, laying it over my shoulders and hiding us from view.

I grin down at him as I stroke his cock and whisper. “I need you inside me, Jagger.”

He nods as he grips my hips and helps me rise up.

His cock is thick and hard in my hand, and as I align him with my core and start to sink down, a whimper escapes me.

I kiss him to help silence my moans as he pulls me straight down onto him in one smooth motion.

He holds me there for a few seconds as his tongue caresses mine, making my body thrum with arousal.

I start to move my hips, and he releases them, letting me set the pace as his hands slide up my stomach and find their way under my bra. His thumbs rub over my nipples, driving me even higher as I start to buck against him harder.

I wrap my arms around his neck, my fingers scraping against his head as I moan in pleasure. My body quickly starts to tighten as my orgasm builds faster than I’ve ever felt before. Need and desperation have us pawing at each other as I try to stay quiet, knowing we’re not alone on this plane.

And when he rips his mouth from mine and drops his head, taking one of my breasts into his mouth, I almost lose it, having to bite my lips to keep from crying out as my orgasm rushes through me at lightning speed.

His hands move to my hips so he can keep the rhythm going until he finds his own release inside me.

He lifts his head, and I seal my lips over his, continuing to slowly rock against him as I kiss him, trying to show him how much I love him.

When my body finally stops shaking, I pull back and smile before collapsing against him and ducking my head under his chin.

He pulls the blanket tighter around us and holds me tight as I stare out the window into the clouds.

A sense of peace flows over me. We’re finally going home. And we have no threats left hanging over us. No Robert, no Ivan, and no FBI. We can do whatever we want; we even have the money to support ourselves.

Just me and my guys, free to discreetly dish out justice as we see fit.

“Go get dressed,” Pete says with a grin. “We have a surprise for you.”

My ears perk up in excitement. “A surprise?”

“Yep. Pick something white,” Dex says before placing another log on the fire.

“Is it an inside or outside surprise?” I ask, eyeing the snow through the wall of windows that look out into our backyard.

“Inside,” Sly answers. “Now go on, take a shower and dry your hair, too.”

“Bossy,” I say, sticking out my tongue at him.

“Don’t show me that unless you’re ready to use it,” he warns.

I grin, then do it again, and he takes a step toward me. “Nope,” Elias says, lifting me off my feet and spinning me to face away from Sly. “I’m not letting you two delay our plans. If you want your surprise, you’ll do as he says.”

“You guys have done enough. I don’t need any more surprises,” I tell him, taking a second to wrap my arms around his waist and hug him.

He hugs me back and sighs. “One more today. I promise that’s it.”

“Don’t pretend you don’t love them,” Pete adds from where he’s still lounging on the couch, surrounded by crumpled wrapping paper.

Since we missed Christmas while I was in prison, we decided to celebrate it a month later on January twenty-fifth. And the fact that we were spending it in our own home made it ten times better.

The guys had explained that since we would be traveling for work, the States was a much better place to set up as a home base. And when they told me that Montana had weather similar to Canada's, with all four seasons, I agreed to live there.

I let the guys choose the house, as the only one I had ever lived in was Robert’s in Arizona, which was thankfully now sold. Elias got input from everyone, and he found this place really fast. Since it was vacant, we were able to move in straight away.

And not only did the guys have great taste in homes and furniture, but they also hired a construction crew to convert all the closets to open-concept spaces with no doors, something that had me in tears over the gesture.

So now, a week later, we are celebrating Christmas together in our home.

We actually don’t have many personal belongings, so it made buying gifts easy.

Among my favorites is a pair of black fingerless gloves that matched Pete’s.

He remembered from all those months ago how I’d wanted a matching pair to his.

One of my other favorite gifts is a new necklace, this one a small heart-shaped pendant, complete with a tracker.
